This sake was purchased after visiting a sake brewery. The last one I had was aged and tasted like a hireshu, but this one is delicious. It has a refreshing yet quite sweet aftertaste. It smells like roasted chestnuts and pineapple, but not tropical. It went well with the homemade smoked chicken I made with the smoke kit I bought the other day!

I went on a trip to Kyoto and forgot to buy a souvenir, so I bought one at a local liquor store and brought it over to my parents' house, souvenir style. The cherry blossom label is very spring-like. It has a refreshing taste of rice, with a strong aftertaste of alcohol. It went well with codfish in a white dashi nabe pot with plenty of burdock root, handmade chicken balls, and Marugame udon noodles.

Kinoshita Sake Brewery, I visited. The idea is that sake tastes better the older it ages. There may be pros and cons, but I find fresh sake tastes better when it is freshly made. I feel a smoky depth like roasted chestnuts when it is aged, but I get tired of drinking it. Depending on the accompaniments, it may turn into something more, but I don't think I would drink more.

I am on a trip around western Japan. I found it at a liquor store in Hiroshima and bought it. It is a fantastic wine. It is very refreshing. The aroma of green apple spreads and it is easy to drink without any extra sweetness or fruitiness. I found out that it is made from Hiroshima's Hachitan-Nishiki rice fermented with apple yeast. I really thought it would have a green apple aroma!

It's so good!!! From the savory aroma to the chestnut-like dustiness. It is a very good sake. The brewery's website shows a great attention to terroir. It's like looking at a winery's website with the differences in soil 😊It looks like it would be a lot of fun to compare the sake while looking at the rice paddies rather than the yeast. I'll definitely plan to visit when I get to Shiga, but it's too far away 😭No, I've found a great brewery!

Bananas. As it says on the back label, it's banana, no matter what anyone says. It is muddy and cloudy, but it is clean. The aroma is overwhelmingly banana. It is very tasty with good flavor and acidity. It seems that there are a lot of snacks that don't go well with it, so just make sure you don't make that mistake. It is a definite repeat purchase.

Kubota! It was a New Year's gift. Yum! It's sure to be light and dry. It has a clear but fruity aftertaste. It has no peculiarities, but it is addictive. I usually drink about 2 gou of sake a day, but today I opened a 4 gou bottle in one night. I'm going to throw the empty bottle in the back of the trash before my wife sees it!

I just had to buy it because of the limited quantities. It is delicious. A little unnatural sweetness bothers me. Yes, it's good. I like the name "I drank it until I stole it". It looks like a refreshing drink, but it looks like it will give you a bad headache.

Junmai Daiginjo-nama sake made with rice called Tochigi no Hoshi sounds amazing. It is not so shwashy, but it has a refreshing lime-like flavor and a ripe fruitiness, probably because it is not fire-roasted. The aftertaste is quite sweet. The label is cool and the naming is also nice.

It is an aged Miyamanishiki Yamahai sake, and although it is recommended to be heated, we had it in hiya. It has a characteristic smoky aroma. It has a very deep flavor with a fruity residue. Makes me want some Iburi Goko cheese! I think I would get bored if I drank too much, but I enjoyed it very much for about 1 gou.

If you went out to eat sushi and were choosing a sake, you would see on the menu that it was for sushi only... or you would ask for it. This is neat! I like it best in Otokoyama. I know it depends on the ingredients, but white meat, red meat, shellfish, and fish roe all went well with it. Excellent.

I went to a sake brewery and bought some. I had been wanting to go there for a long time and finally made it. It is interesting that you can see the brewing process from inside the store. I bought the recommended KITASHIZUKU. I had had the Polished 55 before, but this was my first time to try the 45. It was very fruity with the aroma of persimmon. The price for a 4-unit bottle of Daiginjo is 2,000 yen! It's a surprising price. Higashikawa is always a nice town to visit!

I went fishing today, but since I was a monk, I bought some crabs. Since I was so excited, I opened a bottle of sake that I received. It has a strong and rich flavor. It's hard to compare it to fruit, but it has a strange aroma like a mixture of crustaceans and fruit. It is like Amihime. I tried to drink sake in a crab shell, which I had wanted to try once. But...it tasted bad. Crab miso and sake are very tasty, but not if you mix them in advance. The alcohol is too strong and fights with the flavor of the crabmeat. It was a waste of money, as if I soaked the meat in expensive red wine.

Akita Sake Komachi and Yamada Nishiki. When I see hiyaoroshi on the menu, I tend to choose this season. The aroma of muscat spreads and it is cool and refreshing. This is delicious. I've had sake from Akita such as Hirasen, Hanamup, and Shinmasa, and all of them are delicious. I have never been to Akita, so I really want to go there!

Another sake made with different rice from the same brewery. Kitashizuku, another sake rice from Hokkaido. It is just as refreshing as the Ginpu, but this one is slightly more fruity. It is very tasty with aromas of kiwi fruit and blue bananas coming through.

Sake from a long-established sake brewery in Kutchan to go with the huge oysters from Atsukishi at an izakaya. The rice is called "Ginpu" from Hokkaido. Yes, it's a sure thing. The minerality of oysters goes well with a refreshing sake. It is not sour, but lemony and great with oysters.

My wife caught a salmon! So we went to Dewa Sanzan, south of Kochi Prefecture, while eating salmon in a pot. It is clearer than expected. It is very clear and has almost no aroma. It is crisp and very tasty. It has 17 degrees of alcohol, but you can drink it like water. A dangerous drink. The sake is delicious, but the salmon we caught was also very tasty. Thank you, ma'am.

I purchased this sake as an autumn saké, but it turned out to be completely cold. It seems to be a blend of Miyamanishiki and Haenuki, a well-known food rice variety. It is very rich and robust, but the aftertaste is light and easy to drink. The aroma is like ripe persimmons, and the aftertaste is clear despite its richness. It is not easy to drink, but it is a good sake that is both refreshing and robust.
