This is my first 🍶 from Wakakoma Sake Brewery 😃.
Hard to describe the taste, tastes like cucumber, the second half is spicy and sharp😅.
It's a light cloudy 🍶 but I can hardly taste any sweetness 🥲.
Alcohol level: 16.5
Rice polishing ratio: 55
Rice used: Gohyakumangoku
Yeast used: T-ND
Wakakoma" is a Tochigi sake that I've never had before and I've been curious about it.
I selected the autumn hiyayogoroshi as a Tochigi souvenir on my recent trip to Tochigi ✨.
When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was pleasant, like marron or wasanbon.
The palate is soft, moist and sweet. The flavor is spicy, with hints of pepper, roasted onion, and consommé. This deep flavor is somewhat reminiscent of Western-style food.
However, there is also a mild sweetness and bitterness like that of wasanbon and café au lait, making it a unique and addictive flavor!
You can feel a wide range of flavors, and it is a delicious taste that will make you groan!
The flavor is more complex and deeper than initially imagined!
This was a debut sake of "Wakakoma" that I would like to try my hand at often in the future 🐎.
Hi stst😃!
Congratulations on your debut ㊗️, Mr. Wakakoma 🎉 we haven't had many of them 🥲 and they are complicated 😋 Please get your hands on them again 👋.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby!
This is the depth and unique worldview of sake that makes it so addictive ✨.
I'll try to get my hands on some more when I see it 👐.
After drinking the Omachi version before, I was eager to try the Aizan version at ‼️
It's been about 4 years since I had the urge to try the Omachi version.
I finally came across it ❣️ and it's also a draft sake!
As expected, it is fruity, fresh, and rich.
The balance of sweetness, bitterness, and acidity is also excellent.
The alcohol content is also moderate and delicious.
This is a brand I had been curious about for some time, and the owner of the liquor store said it was so-so and recommended.
When I tried to drink it, I could not grasp its characteristics. It didn't have the freshness of unfiltered raw sake, and the sweet and bitter taste didn't attack my taste buds. I'll try it again tomorrow.
Wakakoma Aiyama 90 unfiltered unpasteurized sake
A little, for me,
It was too sweet and the alcohol content was too strong,
Personally, it's not for me.
I'll have it on the rocks with ice.
