A new Morishima was introduced on the website of a liquor store I frequent. The rice used for sake is comet, so I immediately bought it. It has a clear but distinct flavor. It is delicious.
The Wind Forest for the first time in a long time. It's a very nice and tasty wine. I had it with a solid meal today, but I think something a little lighter would be better.
It is described as being stored in wine barrels. It feels very white wine. After a few days, you can taste a little sweetness. Personally, I think I like it better if I let it sit for a bit.
It starts out sweet and umami, but soon the sour and spicy flavors spread to the palate. It is a delicious sake, but the alcohol content is 19%, so it has a heavy taste.
I was attracted by the red "Comet" and bought it immediately. Comet is my favorite sake rice. I thought it would have a refreshing taste, but it has a strong umami flavor. I think it goes well with the Japanese dishes such as boiled rice. It is delicious!
The staff warned us to be careful when opening the bottle because it was too vigorous this year. As he said, it took quite a while to reach the Arc de Triomphe. It tastes very robust.
A drink with my sister at my parents' house. I was in a good mood, and the bottle I opened the day before was empty, so I ordered more. I really like the taste of Hakutsuru.
I've been somewhat busy and have been slacking on posting. The annual celebration sake is Chiebijin. I hope you will be able to find a lot of delicious sake this year.
This one was also at my wife's parents' house. We bought this sake at a liquor store because they said it was suitable for warming up. We had it warmed up because it was recommended to be warmed up to lukewarm.
Rishu. Nice to meet you & Happy New Year, I see that you are taking good care of your daughter-in-law at her parents' home. He is a precious son-in-law. I look forward to seeing your posts this year. Best regards!
At my wife's parents' house. We had it with cold sake as a family. Is it because I am a sake drinker these days? (Thanks to that?). I am a sake drinker, so the ratio of sake is getting higher.
This year's year-end and New Year's holidays were busy with the family's Corona commotion😨...and so the last of 23 years was the Eikofuji. I enjoyed it very much.
I recently responded to "Raw Ripe". The aroma is good. When you put it in your mouth, the ripe flavor spreads well. It also has a spiciness. I feel that it goes well with a solid-tasting meal such as New Year's dishes.
