Kumamon One Cup purchased at Kumamoto Station on a trip to Kyushu in January.
It's a jacket purchase 😙.
It drove me to buy 💦.
The taste is dry from clear.
It also has an alu feel to it.
The entrée was sea cucumber with grated ponzu and dumplings 🥟.
Hi soumacho 🐦.
This is so cute that I would buy it regardless of what's inside 😻It's also nice that it's bought in your hometown! I love Kumamon, so it's going to be a big deal when I get there 😂.
Good evening, Pon😄.
Kumamon has been my daughter's favorite since she was a little girl and I have many fond memories of her😊.
Of course I am attracted to them too 😙.
Kumamoto is full of Kumamon, so please do visit (lol)
Limited release from the warehouse
Hatsu Shibori New Sake
December 19, 2024
Purchased at Ushima Sake Shop at Kumamoto Station on the way back from a business trip to Kumamoto.
A family trip after a long time, a wonderfully colorful dinner after a hot spring bath in the snowy cold. There I drank a bottle.
It has a rich, full rice flavor, a crisp mouthfeel with an elegant, gentle sweetness, and an aftertaste that gradually fades away with a focus on spiciness.
Sake 🟥 that I drank at a paid tasting at Okayama Sake Shop.
I forgot to post it 😊.
Tastes like mirin with a little bit of soy sauce😅.
It also tastes like isodine gargle😅
When drunk cold, it is light and alsobe-like. It has a sweet umami aftertaste.
I was told that it won an award at a national heated sake contest, so I heated it up and wow, it turned out to be a mellow and delicious sake.
Liquor Shop Okayama Tasting Yield⑰.
This sake was provided by a regular customer and was very old.
The brewery on the package no longer exists. It seems to have been merged with the Zuitaka brewery and is now manufactured there.
Donghee Red Sake.
This sake was also served warm. The color is a blackish red, just like isodine gargle.
It is similar to mirin (sweet sake), but made in a different way.
A regular customer brought it to us because he had left it at home for a long time and never drank it, but thank you very much for this precious thing 🙏.
After that, bouken-san and I went home after visiting liquor stores as usual. I walked a lot to sober up as usual 🤣.
This time, I held back and didn't buy anything due to the refrigerator situation💦.
The tasting was very friendly and I would like to attend again!
Thanks for the tasting report by Nemuchi-san and Oyama-san 🍶.
I enjoyed reading your post with bouken-san and Yao-chan-san!
I really want to know how everyone is getting over the refrigerator situation this time of year 😌.
Aladdin, good evening 🌛It was fun to be with my fellow sakewa friends after a long time 😊I guess I have too many drinks to drink even if I have a cellar 😁I bought 2 bottles that were not planned most recently, so I went home unpurchased this time for crying out loud😭.
Hi Nemuchi 🐦.
I enjoyed watching your tasting section 😊Okayama, I see that you have room temperature aged sake on the room temperature shelf across from your fridge? Old sake? I think you have a lot of interesting things to offer 😁. I'm sure you have a lot of interesting liquor stores 😁🤭.
Pon-chan, good evening 🌛Okayama-san was very kind to me even if I was not a regular customer 😄They have a warehouse refrigerator where they mature their own Furozumi wine 😊.
Liquor Shop Okayama Tasting Event⑰.
The last one was a red sake brought by a regular customer.
Tohi Red Sake is still sold by Rui-Taka, but it was made before 2001 when Rui-Taka Brewery and Tohi Brewery merged and became Rui-Taka Co.
Tohi Red Sake was posted by honda in the past.
This sake was made 50 years ago in 1975😳!
I had it lukewarm and it was so rich, it was like a dumpling!
The color is dark red like isodine😳
It was different from the image, it was rich, sweet and delicious 😋.
It tastes a little like mirin (sweet rice wine) 🤔.
Thank you for the precious sake 🙏.
Two hours passed and it was time to end.
At first I thought it would be impossible but I managed to drink all kinds 😁.
After leaving the restaurant, Aochan and I parted ways, and Nemuchi and I headed to Kyoto station to go to a few more liquor stores 🚃.
The End
Good evening, bouken🌙
I enjoyed reading your review of the tasting 😊Kaiun's sake and others sounded interesting 😚.
50 years ago is a surprise 😳Mitarashi sauce and mirin...I would love to try them!
Congrats on winning all the varieties ✨
Good morning, bouken 😃.
Thanks for the tasting report!
It was a fulfilling 2 hours with an impressive lineup 🍶.
50 years aged sake is awesome too 😳Tasty sake after half a century 🍶 like hon mirin 🤔.
Hello bouken 😃
I enjoyed reading your tasting report. Showa 50 is awesome 😳Thanks for the taste report on Toromi, Mitarashi Dango, Mirin...very rare sake 🙏.
Good evening, Mr. Kotaro.
Thank you for visiting 🙇.
I was surprised to see that the box was 50 years old 😳
It really had a strong taste like sauce or mirin.
Mr. Aladdin, good evening 🌃
Thank you 😊
I was surprised at the 50 year old one 😳
I thought it was like a matured version of hon mirin (Japanese sweet cooking rice wine) with a touch of tenderness 🤔.
I happened to stop by a supermarket and saw it on sale, which was a rare occurrence, so I bought it immediately 🍶.
Fresh aroma like grapes 🍇.
Sweet and sour like apple 🍎🍎.
Light and crisp enough to be gone before you know it ✨.
It has a subtle aroma and modest sweetness that passes through the nose, and the aftertaste is certainly dry. It has a suppleness that does not interfere with the food, but yet manages to make them go hand in hand. It can be served cold, cold sake, or hot.
