It's Sunday, the usual time of day when I'm not in the mood... 😓. Tonight, from local favorite Kamo Kanehide...only the label has been renewed ❗️ (i.e., the contents are the same 💧) for the "Apple Born in a Wooden Oke" that was on sale until last year. The name until last year was misleading to those who don't drink sake as a liqueur made with apples🍎🤔. Well, to get back on track, we opened the bottle to see how it was this year 🍶. The aroma is relatively strong with apple 🍎 as the description says 🙂‍↕️ When you take a sip, you can't feel the "juiciness" that is characteristic of Kamogane even when it is fired 💧. On the contrary, I wonder... what would you call it "mid-body" in wine ❓ It's a medium-dark white wine taste, with a strong alcohol taste. ❗️ Maybe it's because it's brewed in wooden vats that it feels even more like wine 👍. I think it is more for wine drinkers than sake drinkers 🤔.

I miss the rain 😭 Since the end of the historically short rainy season...the daily heat wave and extreme heat 🥵I wonder if there is really a future for the earth🌏...and I'm worried, but first I want to cool down a bit by praying for rain ☔️ 😓. Speaking of which, there's a bottle of sake in the fridge that looks like such an umbrella ☂️ Yes, this is URANISHI with a cute umbrella label from the Shirokiku series brewed by Kyoto's Shirasugi Shuzo🍶. It's still not well-known yet, and its distribution is still small... but you'd never guess! I got a bottle of sparkling 🫧 so I'm opening it tonight🤣. The great thing about Shirokiku is their stance of using edible rice 🌾 as a base and mixing it up with all sorts of things and it just happens to be ‼️ 😳 This 💁URANISHI is exactly the same, but it's actually my first time drinking it lol. Sorry for the long preamble but...open the bottle: ❗️ The aroma is of dark white grapes 🍇. The aroma is even stronger when poured into the glass... I was drooling without drinking it lol. At the first sip, it's easy to drink, not too heavy despite the rich grape flavor, and the tangy taste on the tongue...what the heck...‼️ I almost collapsed😅This is... seriously delicious 😋. Mmmm...! I already have Shirakikyu in Kyoto as my favorite......................................it is badass. Addictive taste 😋.

It's been a while since I've had a chance to drink some sake from outside of the prefecture... so today I'm going to try some sake from within the prefecture 🍶. I've been curious about this one for a while, but I haven't had a chance to drink it yet 😅. This is "Shirakoh" brewed by Morikawa Shuzo located near the port town of Yasura-cho, Kure City 💁. To be honest... I have never been a fan of sake brewed with soft water brewing method (especially from breweries around Saijo) because of its sweetness and sticky aftertaste in general, coupled with my preconceived notions about it, with a few exceptions 😓. So I decided to buy it to break through my preconceived notions. ‼️🤣 Well, I'm sorry for the long preamble, but here we go! The aroma isn't that strong and doesn't change much when poured into a glass 🤔. I couldn't see the 🫧shuwa feeling of the sake... but anyway, I took a sip: 🙂‍↕️ Oh! This is an apple juice 🧃🙆 with a pretty good balance of sweetness and sourness, as well as a nice sharpness and aftertaste. Rather... with this balance, it's a good level to have in souvenir stores ❗️ I'd rather have it 😭 Nice balance for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks 👌 2nd day🗒️ Stable balance of sweetness and sourness...maybe a little more alcohol in the aftertaste 😅. But in general, easy to drink and delicious‼️

Today is the end of the three-day weekend... Why do vacations seem to go by so fast 😭 And to keep our spirits up for work, we need to recharge 🍶. So...I opened a bottle of Organic Naturals from my favorite Sentori🤩😏. The aroma is neither strong nor weak, with just the right amount of lemon 😍. And when poured into a glass, the beautiful aroma is even more intriguing before drinking 🤤. The lemon 🍋 feeling is unique to Senkou, as if you were drinking water, and it seems to moisten your dry throat and soak into your body 👌. It's not too thick, not too juicy, not too rich... Overall, it's a very smooth taste, but you can still feel the Sengkyo character ✨. I'm looking forward to the taste change after tomorrow 🥰. Day 2: ❗️ The taste has been upgraded to a gentle flavor with added umami ♬. ⤴️ The aftertaste is very easy to drink 🍶.

Second day of consecutive holidays! It's been so hot and humid every day that I feel like melting 🫠. At times like this, I feel like drinking a refreshing drink 🍾... 🙂‍↕️ If it's beer 🍻, I'm definitely in the mood for a Sue Fat Dry 😅. If I dare to express that mood with sake🍶, I end up with this sake: ‼️ The name of it is... Masumi Sparkling 🫧😆. I've had this sake before, but this is the first time I've brought it home 🤩. Alright, ignoring the customary long preamble, let's get down to business 🤣. First of all...I opened the bottle carefully but the cork popped 💧 but I was lucky that the contents didn't pop out....be careful if you bought it 😓. The aroma is not that strong, white wine taste 😁. The first sip of the wine was not a sizzle... it was more like a swish, swish, swish, swish... a delicious taste that popped in your mouth the moment you drank it 😋. I think the lightness and dryness are stronger than the sweetness ❓This is a level that you can surely drink it in one gulp after a workout lol It is more like champagne than sake 🍾. If you like light taste, please visit ‼️ On the second day, the lightness settles down a bit and the flavor increases⤴️ but in general... it's champagne🍾😋.

First day of the three-day weekend is here 💁. This is NIGORI from my favorite brand, Hiran✨. Actually, this is one that I had given up on because I couldn't find it at my favorite store 😭. One of my juniors at work found it at another store and bought it for me 😭❗️ I'm so thankful, really 🤩. I've been a fan of Hiran✨ since last year, but to be honest, I thought this year's was not as good as last year (delicious but not as impactful as last year...or worse, it had a bland taste). However, my junior colleague also said that this NIGORI was delicious, so I opened the bottle with high expectations 🍶. I was told that the cork would fly open, so I opened it carefully 😅. The aroma is a hint of lemon? I guess. The first thing I did was top off the bottle... and from the very first sip, it was juicy 🥰 without stirring, the clean juicy feeling 🫧 creates a moment of bliss 🤣. From! Wait for it! The bitter and umami taste of the grefleur-like flavor matches with the sizzling taste on the tip of the tongue... The sharpness and lingering taste makes me want to drink the next one again... I can't stop drinking this sake.... What the hell will happen tomorrow: ⁉️ On the second day, the greefiness is even more intense: ⤴️⤴️ The sizzling sensation is still the same and it's just too good😍.

Well! Tonight... we welcomed the Sanuki Kuraudei🦜 that we drank at the store a long time ago into our home... so here we go: ‼️🤣 lol! Before we open the bottle, we know that this drink tastes like adult calpis... so we stir it well from the beginning and open the bottle 😆. Pour it on the rocks 🧊 as described in the delicious drinking instructions and you can already see the lactobacillus-like flavor and aroma in the picture 👌! This is really a Calpis for adults even if you drink it again. ‼️ It's low in alcohol (6%), tastes like Calpis, and is also... cheap at around 1,500 yen 😳! Highly recommended for those who have never had sake before or for those who are weak in alcohol 👍 Last time I drank it for the first time, it was at a restaurant, so I have high expectations this time because I can enjoy the taste change after tomorrow 🥰. To all the users of Sake-no-wa. If you have never had it, why don't you order it when you find this label at the store ❓😁. The taste change on the second day was almost no change ❗️ despite my expectations 🤔. But on the contrary, the stable adult Calpis has a taste that lasts even after opening the bottle 👌.

Thinking about it, you can't drink all the sake in Japan if you only drink on weekends ❗️🤣 Well, that's not important to preface... I'm sure you already know that the SAKE COMPE🥇 award winners were announced last month, which all Sakegawa users are aware of: 🙂‍↕️ Among them...I was interested in a special junmai🌾 from Gunma's Makino Sake Brewery, which brews the MACHO💪 series. I got it the other day and couldn't resist opening the bottle on a weekday 🤣 lol. When you open the bottle, you can smell the gentle and gentle apple-like aroma of Junmai ✨. You can feel it even more when you pour it into a glass 🤤. Sip and you'll be convinced that the Gold Award 🥇 is well balanced: ‼️ The sweetness, umami, and rice flavor create a perfect harmony...it can be served before, during, or after a meal. ‼️ The description "slightly dry" is certainly true. On the contrary, this level of spiciness is just right to accentuate the lingering flavor🙆🙆. After drinking MACHO...I fell in love with Oubai, but this one was on another level 🥰. Day 2🗒️ I think it's because it's junmai? I think it has a little bit more alcohol and a little bit more miscellaneous taste 😅. Still, the cohesiveness is superb 👌

The cherry blossoms from Hana no Kou opened yesterday were so delicious... they disappeared so fast 😭 I'm going to drink this weekend with the same momentum! Let's drink good sake this weekend with this momentum 😭‼️ So I took out my personal Hall of Fame brand 🥇Jikin's Omachi🌾✨. I drank the draft version a while ago, but this time it was hi-iru 🔥. Now...! Open the bottle 🍶! I've said it over and over again, but no matter which rice variety Jikkai's sake is made from... it has a fruity aroma 🍎🍓🍇 when you open the bottle. I'm already....full from the aroma alone🤣 lol And well, the aroma is even more pronounced when poured into the glass and I can't stop drooling 🤤. It's a fire-aged sake, so it doesn't have as much of the juicy flavor of a nama sake, but it has a great balance that will make you grin the moment you drink it 😋. The way the flavor of Omachi swells up is addictive 👌. Well, well...no matter how many times I drink it, I can't stop drinking this deliciousness.... I want to share it with those who have never had Jikin 😭 Day 2: ❗️ The taste does not change greatly due to the fire-irrigation. Steady umami flavor runs through the mouth🏃‍♂️ Tropical🏝️ balance...can't get enough 🤤.

It's hot and melting 🫠 every day... at least on the weekends we want to be happy ✨❗️ So.... I'm going to open a special one 😎😎. This is 💁 from the "Hananaka" series of Kumamoto Prefecture limited edition sake by Hananaka Sake Brewery, who brews my favorite brand "Sancho"... Sakurabana🌸✨. I was lucky enough to get it through a friend of mine 🙇 (It's not for resale!). It is a renewal of a product that was originally labeled "Sakurabana" by Hana no Kaori? I'm not sure if it's a renewal... but the labeling is stylish 😍. I'll give you a quick report as soon as possible. When the bottle is opened, the strawberry-like aroma is very nice and intriguing even before you drink it 🤤. Pouring it into a glass from the glass, the gorgeous aroma became even more intense 👌. The first sip, the sizzling 🫧 taste reminds me of Champagne from the land of origin 🍾, while the taste is like a cross between strawberry and apple 🍓... irresistible 🥰. This flavor... makes me feel rich for the weekend ‼️ Sansho is much more like Champagne, but this one is like a sake based Champagne 🥂. Hana-no-Ko-san...let's bring it out all over the country and make Japan rejoice: ‼️ This one is soooo good 🤣 Even better on day 2 😳💖!

Yesterday we drank out... today we drink at home 🤩. I opened the fridge to see what I was going to open...that label that stands out so much...🤣 Fascinating supple body lol! This is the MACHO💪 series ✨ from Ohibai. This is already my 3rd bottle since I discovered this deliciousness with Gorilla🦍😅! The fusion of Yamada Nishiki🌾 and Aiyama💎...that can only produce something delicious, right? 😋. I opened the bottle 🍶 with this in mind. The aroma is like a moderate strawberry 🤔❓ The impact is not that strong. Well, let's have one first 😏😏. Maybe because it is fired 🔥, it doesn't have any of the juiciness of the raw sake 😭. However, it has a strange taste with the umami that is typical of Aizan expanding and the sharpness and stability of Yamadanishiki increasing along the way 😊. My personal ranking of the 3 MACHOs I've had so far is... Gorilla🦍 > Aizan ❤️≒FUSION 🙂‍↕️ The rest are going to the fridge 😎 in anticipation of a change in taste. On the second day, it tastes more raspberry🍇 than the first day⤴️, but in general, it's a beautiful taste and it doesn't seem to surpass Gorilla🦍... 😅 Day 3🗒️ Beautiful taste but refined 🤔. Tasty but... still won't surpass the impact of Gorilla🦍😭

On Friday of the weekend, we had a sake party 🍶 with our company friends. We brought in some sake that we couldn't drink at the restaurant 😁. This is Aikoku from Senkyoku 🌾. It's a sake brewed by reviving an ancient variety of Aikoku ✨. When I opened the bottle the aroma wasn't that strong🤔. Pour it into the sake cup... everyone guzzled it at once 🥰 and felt the harmony of sharpness and umami with the sourness🍋 that only SENKOUGOU can bring... everyone would grin 😁. It was so fast because we all drank it together...but I bet it would be delicious with different tastes too 🤤. But, as I said, drinking at home is good... but sometimes it was great to drink with friends while sharing the deliciousness 😀.

Tomorrow is Monday...... atrocious 😭 Why is it that Sunday nights are so depressing 😞? Well, even if I say that, I can't live without working and I can't drink my favorite alcohol 🤣. So today, I'm going to recharge my stamina at my favorite restaurant, Akabu 💪. We opened a bottle of SEA🌊, a seasonal sake that comes out this time of year🍶. The fresh, Senkou-like lemon🍋 aroma with a hint of sourness is intriguing🤤. Sip it... it has a slight sizzling sensation, which is rare for Akabu 🤔. And the lemon flavor ✨ that you can feel moderately in the stable and refreshing taste is just like a certain manufacturer's "Fatty Lemon" 🥰. The aftertaste is somewhat like the raspberry flavor of Shinsei...⁉️ Come to think of it, last year I compared the taste of Shinsei Ecru and this Akabu SEA and felt they were very similar... I guess I wasn't wrong after all. 🙂‍↕️ I can't stop drinking it, so I'll try my best to hold out for half 😅. Day 2🗒️ The ✨subtle sizzling sensation was still there 😊and the lemon 🍋 seemed to have increased in flavor 🥰. Personally I think I like the second day better 😆.

Friday's bottle opener was... Wakamusume TropicalBunbun🌴🥥✨ from Yamaguchi, Japan, which I was curious about last year but failed to buy. First of all... the label is cute 👌The retro pop label is cute 🩷. I drank Wakamusume the other day... but this one 💁 has been on my mind since last year so I'm opening it 🤣. The aroma is tropical 🏝️ no wonder it's a fruit mix aroma 🥰. The first sip from the first sip, even though it's a draft sake...I think the sizzling sensation was more like the hi-iru Amami I had yesterday🤔. but a good sizzling gas feeling 🫧. The taste is a tropical juice 🍹 with a slight carbonation... The Tenbi I had yesterday was also delicious, but this one is also unstoppable and dangerous ⚠️ 🤣. The "beware of opening the bottle" means 1) open the bottle slowly because it will blow out... and 2) be careful because once you start drinking, you can't stop 😂. Please be careful, all sakekowa users 😁. As you know, I think it is best for before and after meals rather than during meals, and for young people, dessert 🍨😊. I noticed that recently I've been drinking only sake from Yamaguchi prefecture...on the contrary, there are many excellent sake breweries here 😁. To those who are satisfied with Otters, Yamaguchi still has a lot of depth to offer 😏. Day 2🗒️ The second day was also delicious with no major taste changes 🥰.

Today... it's Amami, which I was curious about because it was #1🥇 recommended to you by Sake no Wa ✨. I was supposed to drink it before buying it at a tasting at a liquor store the other day... but I had some business to attend to, so I didn't get to drink it because I had to drive there 😭. The aroma at the tasting wasn't enough for me... I ended up buying a bottle of Akaban Oumachi, which was over my budget 💁. Now to open the bottle 🍶! The aroma is not that strong from the bottle, but when poured into a glass, it has a moderately sweet apple, peach, and grape-like aroma 🤤. A quick sip...mmmm ⁉️ I thought this is hi-iru (fire-iru), but there is no indication on the label that this is a pure sake 😅. I felt a juicy sensation from the first sip... but the taste is similar to the Takachiyo Grape I drank the other day 🥰. It has a low bitterness and a good sharpness....this is certainly one of my favorites and I can gobble it up 😊. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's flavor change 😏. Day 2🗒️ The aroma is a little stronger ❓🤤. The juiciness I felt on the first day has calmed down a bit, but I can still feel it ✨ And the flavor is up⤴️ The slightly carbonated fun fat grape 🍇 flavor is going to blow away the heat after the rainy season 😆.

The rainy season hasn't ended yet... and it's still hot 🥵. When it's this hot... you want to drink something easy to drink and with a nice sizzle 💧 (like Super Fat Rye in beer). And the drink you end up with without even thinking about it is "Takachiyo", right? After all, it's a brand you can't go wrong with🤣. I think it's common knowledge that hiragana "Takachiyo" is a sure thing for all sake-no-wa users, but I'd like to report again on its deliciousness: 🗒️ lol This is 💁. A hint of grape 🍇 when you open the bottle ✨. And if you drink it, it's a slightly carbonated Fatty Grape... The stable taste and juicy sensation...it's hard to stop on a hot day 🤣. I thought again...I want to share this deliciousness with sake lovers who don't usually drink sake 😓. Day 2: 🗒️ After all, Takachiyo does not betray 🥰. The juiciness is a little less, but the umami definitely increases👍. This is why I'm addicted to Takachiyo ✨

It's still hot and melting today even though the rainy season hasn't ended 🫠...rewarding my body for a week of hard work 🤣 lol Well...while enjoying the second day of Chimera, I opened the next sake 🍶. It's a Sarasara Junmai from Tenmei in Fukushima 🎆. The aroma is not that strong, just right 😄. Even after pouring it into the glass, the aroma is not that strong...but a subtle aroma🙆. As soon as you take a sip, sweetness and umami appear instantly and disappear quickly... The naming sense of "Sarasara Junmai" is surely right. ❗️ If you drink it before or after a meal, you may feel it is lacking because it has few characteristics 😅(Chimera was rich, so you may feel it is too much 💧). Conversely, the taste is designed to enhance the flavor of the food during the meal without interfering with the food 👌. However, if you want to drink this sake during a meal, I think it would be better to pair it with foods that are not too rich, such as fish and vegetables ✨. It's not the kind of sake that will cut through the fatty foods 😅. If you want to drink it with strong fatty foods, I would personally recommend the Hokusetsu from the past report 😏. But overall, I would definitely recommend Hakurakusei's Tokujun 🤔. Day 2: 🗒️ It's quite refreshing and easy to drink with more lemoniness 🍋 like Senkou 🍋 that I didn't expect... 😋. This is my personal preference for day 2 🥰.

Today I was curious about this one from Shirakikyu (Shirasugi Shuzo) in Kyoto, which I heard about from an acquaintance... Chimera✨ from Greek mythology, unfiltered, raw and unfiltered, blue label 🟦 (the regular version of the fire-infused is red label🟥) It's Thursday and it's my first drink 🥰. According to the analysis of Sake-no-wa, similar tastes include Shinmasa, Senkou, and many other famous brands... 😋. I opened the bottle with excitement and anticipation 🍶. The aroma is definitely a bit complex, but it's right on target with the analysis by Sake-no-Wawa (⚾️), which made me grin 🤣. Of course, it smells even better when poured into a glass 🤤. Now, the first sip you've been waiting for 😁. I can feel the acidic white wine flavor of the Niimasa and the juiciness of the Nama Sake rushing through...with the refreshing Sengoku flavor...and the aftertaste that makes you want to keep drinking without any peculiarities...what the heck 😍! If you add and divide famous popular brands, this is the level of taste ⁉️ 🤣. I mean...if you mix too many ingredients even in cooking, the taste will be too complex and not proper...but the complexity and cohesiveness of this sake is amazing 🥰. Looking forward to tomorrow's taste change....and I've decided to buy other labels of Shirakikyu ‼️ lol 😆 If you like Niimasa, you probably won't go wrong 😏. Day 2: 🗒️ It's more of a raspberry feel to the Shinmasa ✨. The first day I imagined the flavors changing in sequence, but the second day was Shinsei 😋.

The second bottle today is Takashi's Natsumine from Aichi Prefecture 🍶. It is lightly cloudy with some oriki precipitating 😍. Sake with precipitated Ori makes me grin before I open it 🤣. You can also enjoy the taste change between the supernatant and after stirring ✨. This is truly the two-fold style of sake: ⁉️ So much for the preamble...let's open the bottle right away. The aroma is not strong...just a hint 🤔. Pouring it into a glass doesn't make much difference. From the top! The top clear...it didn't say it was a draft sake, but it has a slight pithiness and a good sweetness 👌. The supernatant is good enough... but let's see what happens when it's stirred 😁. The second cup of the expected 🥰... yes, here it is 🥰. The first cup had a relatively clean taste, but after stirring, the flavor increased dramatically and it was already something else (maybe an exaggeration lol) 😋. I have loved Ko no Tsukasa since the first time I drank it, but once again I was struck by its deliciousness 🤩. Personally, I think Ni-Utsuri and Takashi no Tsukasa are my favorites in Aichi 🤣. Day 2: 🗒️ I drink it stirred from the beginning 😁. The flavor increases with ⤴️... and the lactic acid taste like calpis becomes stronger and it is unstoppable 🥰.

Exciting weekend: ☺️ Today is the first opening of Wakamusume🍶 from Yamaguchi😍. When I opened the bottle, the aroma was melon❓muscat❓like the Kameizumi I drank the other day... I felt like I could get drunk on the aroma before drinking it too🤣 lol Pouring it into a glass and enjoying the aroma again... taking a sip, it has a perfect balance of melon-like sweetness and umami, with a nice accent of the juiciness of the raw sake 🥂. The bitterness is low and the sharpness is also first, which I personally like 😋. It is similar to Kameizumi🐢 in taste, but while Kameizumi🐢 is a beautiful and thick melon juice, this one has a little bit of carbonation 🤩. It's dangerous ⚠️ to be able to drink it gulping it down lol. I think it's best to drink it by itself before dinner or with dessert 🍨 after dinner 👌. Day 2🗒️ Slightly more flavor ❓🤔 It was a stable taste without much change 🤤.
