Only Ichinokura brand sake is made in Kurihara City. When Mr. Tokoro introduced it in a TV shooting at the end of last year, it was in short supply in Kurihara City 😱😆😆. The first sip tastes slightly sweet and clean without any peculiar taste. It goes well with kiwi and kurichi wrapped with prosciutto ham. It also goes well with strong meat dishes!

Once the taste fades, there is a slight effervescence, a light but not persistent sweetness, and a numbing sensation at the back of the tongue. Occasional bitterness. Overall, it is an elegant sweet sake with a sense of transparency. It is better to drink it in small sips rather than gulping it down.

I've had Kanazawa-ya from the same brewery at an outing, but this is my first time drinking it. I had never heard of rice called "Takaneminori" before. It has a fresh aroma with a hint of cemedine.
