At home. This is my first Shiga, Matsunoji. The aroma is gorgeous and has a slight semedyne smell. Purchased with Tenryo sake cup at Okuhiroya in Kayashima. They stocked it because it was well received at a Saga sake tasting event held for sake retailers. Probably not normally available in the Kansai region. The rice is made from Hokkaido's Kitashizuku. I know Nabeshima also uses Kitashizuku. It has a beautiful sake quality for the rice polishing ratio. There is a slight sweetness, but it is also slightly thin and heavy. It also has a nutty taste. It tastes like nothing else.

(The best way to get the most out of this product is to visit 🍶🍶🍶🍶 I bought this at a liquor store on my way back from a visit to a grave in Fukui Prefecture 🙋I bought it because it was reviewed on youtube by Ishikawa's world famous Hoshitaro. I took it out of the fridge and opened the bottle. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, but it's a good thing. The flavor of the rice and the pleasant acidity. When the temperature is raised, the flavor and acidity are more assertive than right after opening the bottle. It says that it goes well with Japanese cuisine, and I think this is true. It is a good food sake that does not interfere with food. Sari seems to go well with rice crispy rice 😀.

Junmai Daiginjo that is not like Yamada Nishiki. The sweetness is moderate. It takes some time for the flavors to develop. Personally, I've always had the impression that Yamadanishiki has a sweet aftertaste, but the dryness of the flavor reminded me of the diversity of Japanese sake. And even though it's supposed to be a little out of character for my taste, it was a dish that made me drink more! As the temperature rises, the taste is distinctly sweet at first and then dry (and crisp) at the end. It broke the stereotype that Yamada Nishiki is sweet! The brewery started brewing in 1922. The name of the brand was changed from the famous water "Horime-no-Ido" to "Horinoi".
