Japanese Sake Fest @ Osaka Bay Tower (・ω・`;) I see that the sake is from Nada. I recently found out that there is a small sake brewery in Nada and bought some Houmusume, which was outstandingly delicious! And this Hamafukutsuru! This is also wonderful! It has a beautiful breadth of flavor and just the right amount of body. The best part is the price: about 1,100 yen! I wish there was one in my neighborhood! When I go to Kobe for Onsen (hot springs), it is so close to the station that I might even stop by a sake brewery just for this!

We attended a year-end party for parents of my second son's high school club! Although there are some rank restrictions, we enjoyed drinking all the sake we could drink 😆. Purchase of a warehouse This is the fourth brewery on a tour of four breweries in the Daisen area of Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture. The last one was sold directly to the public. I bought it at Tsunoka Shoten, which I had wanted to visit for a long time. The nearest stations are Keihan Sumizome Station, Keihan Fujimori Station, or JR Fujimori Station. The brands available include Miyakotsuru, Tamagawa, Yaetsuru, Shirakikyu, Kumi no Ura, Jinzo, Yosamusume, Haginoroh, Roppo (from Kirakucho's brewery), Wakabisu, Joyo, Honohana (from Wakamiya Shuzo), and sake from the Meimon Sake Association. In addition, there were a few PB-like products that were only available at sake dealers' associations and unions. They were sake made by Eikun and Tsuki no Katsura. There were two kinds of sake, both fruity, so I chose 1801. It was not very fragrant for an aromatic yeast, but it was voluptuous and sweet. It was a bit similar to the Yatagarasu I drank before. I wonder if it tastes like this when you make a sweet sake with Koshihikari. It tastes a little cloying and messy...
