Purchase of a warehouse
This is the fourth brewery on a tour of four breweries in the Daisen area of Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture.
The last one was sold directly to the public.
It was served in a wine glass, as it was awarded the gold medal in the "2024 Wineglass Sake Award".
When this is written, my impression is pulled and I feel it is like white wine.
But it was delicious with a grape-like sweetness.
Only one brewery sells directly to the public.
There are four breweries in a small area, so I think they should be able to attract more people if they do well.
Keep up the good work, Daisen: ‼️
This sake is made from rice called "Koudou Shinko".
I bought this sake because it was recommended by a sake brewer.
It is a little sweet with little acidity and is refreshing and delicious.
KURAND items. It is a product of Watarai Honten in Wadarai. It is a product of Watarai Honten in Wadarai, and it is said to be brewed by 8 brewers. When poured into a glass, there is not much aroma, but when you put it in your mouth, a fruity aroma like muscat spreads. It has a mild umami flavor with little acidity. When heated, it has a sour taste, but it is not very strong. After about 3 days from opening the bottle, a slight sourness and astringent aftertaste appear.
This sake rice is called "Kaiho-Shinko", which is descended from Kame-no-o. I wish I could give it a nicer name (lol), but the bitterness that spreads after the freshly cooked aroma escapes your nose. Junmai Ginjo from Tohoku, reminds me of New Year's Day spent at my grandpa's place in Yamagata ♡.
