Last night was a New Year's party with a couple I met last year. We had dinner at a nice restaurant and then went to Kokubuncho. After the fourth bar, I finally had a chance to drink sake. I have known the owner of this sake bar on the outskirts of the city for about 25 years now. The lighting doesn't look like it's the kind of place you'd enjoy sake, but don't worry about that. The selection is quite good, so go for something you've never tried before. First up is Hiryu, the one with Tatsumi Fujinami's red towel. A dry sake with a refreshing yet tasty flavor, just like Mr. Shinzawa! Thank you very much for your hospitality!

My best friend gave me a small bottle to share with my last drink 😆👍. By the way, my best friend's wife recommended it to me. She likes it dry 😄. It's been a long time since I've had a dry sake, but I'm ready to try it💦. The aroma is fruity👍. I'm not a fan of too much dryness, but it was a good experience 🤗.

(Holy shit!!!🍶🍶🍶🍶 The last day of GW in no time 😭 To close out the holiday, we opened a bottle of our local sake, Shirakiku from Okunoto 😀 It is a recovery sake brewed by Yukawa Sake Brewery 😊WOM gave us the information and we were able to purchase it 🙏. Nice fruit-like aroma typical of Okunoto's Shirakiku😊Elegant sweetness and umami are as delicious as before 😚👍Gentle acidity spreads slowly and disappears with a clean aftertaste✨. It's still the same delicious sake that is typical of Okunoto Shirakiku 🥳.

The bottle was opened with a high pitched jupon💕 The aroma is mild, but the mouthfeel is clean and dry 🤔The sweetness comes out slowly and gently 😊The aftertaste is gentle and acidic 😚👍. The raw sake was a little harsh, but it has matured and become mellow😇Shirakiku is still a delicious sake 🥳.

I just came home and was going to drink the sake I bought, but I had to take a break with the local sake 😙. The aroma is mild 😚 and when you put it in your mouth, you can feel the banana and the rice flavor 😘 the gusto and the delicious acidity swells up in your mouth and disappears quickly 🥰. Ayaka-gun, Kagawa Prefecture. Yushin Brewery Co. Yushin Namaishu Junmai Ginjo No. 9 Yeast We are back to drinking at home. Purchased on a trip during Obon. I jumped on a label I'd never seen before and neglected to check the date, and found out that it was February 💦. I drank it cold. Not much Uitatekoso, but there is a slight graininess, with a hint of alkaloa. No mature-like aroma. The mouthfeel flows smoothly on the tongue, and the taste is full and full of rice flavor with a sense of maturity. The aroma that passes through the nose is a little matured, so it has matured a bit. But it just has an autumn-aged look to it 🤣. As the label on the back of the bottle says it is slightly dry, there is a bit of spiciness at the end, but I don't mind it too much because the umami is very strong. The high alcohol content makes it easy to drink, but it comes back with a thud later. I would like to try a freshly brewed sake once. 5/10 Canned sake from Shotoku Shuzo. Kyoto has an image of an increasing number of these. Kyo-no-kiraki is Kyoto's original sake brewing rice and is used only in Kyoto. The taste is quite dry. The aroma is also subdued, which is probably due to the fact that it is hard to sense in the can. It has a sharp taste, so it is a good sake to accompany sake snacks.
