In a store with countless bottles.
280 yen for a small glass.
Feel the unique aroma of Yamada-Nishiki and the flavor of the rice."
This is exactly the kind of flavor that can be enjoyed.
The aroma is fragrant and yet firm,
The aftertaste is clean and refreshing.
Personal Score 86
No sake in the fridge! 😱
My husband tasted and bought some at Isetan 🙏.
100% Yamadanishiki
Polishing ratio 65
Alcohol 16%.
It has a subtle sake-like aroma and a classic taste, but the soft sweetness and acidity make it sweet and sour and easy to drink.
When the temperature rises to room temperature, the sweetness comes out and the acidity subsides a little, and there is a little bit of spiciness.
The balance of sweetness and sourness has improved!
On the second day, it seems to open up a little and become cohesive.
On day 4-5, the classic wine has a white wine taste 😳.
It's well-balanced and very tasty ❣️ and it still tastes better at room temperature!
I liked it better on day 1-2 when it was a little hard but refreshing, and on day 4-5 when it was calm and round 😊.
Did you drink enough alcohol during this year's New Year's holiday?
I think it's because it was longer than usual 💦.
I'll be sure to check the number of bottles next year 😂.
Hi Pon, ☀️
I've never had this one, but it looks delicious 🍶 with a well-balanced sweet and sour taste 😋.
I bought it without thinking too much and now my fridge is overflowing 🤣I have to make the right choices to drink it well 😂.
Hi Kotaro 🐦.
It was my first time too, but you bought me one as I requested for an easy drink 😆🙏.
I'm in an enviable situation 🤣I don't have much in the fridge so if I'm stingy with the number of bottles it's going to be a pain 💦 difficult!
Ponchan, good evening 🌙
I am interested in the 4~5 day white wine taste!
It seems to be easy to drink!
I'm surprised they ran out of stock at your place...you must have drank a lot 😁.
Good evening, Pon. 😊
I have three trays of four-packs of sake left for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
I'll be back on Sunday. I'll be back on Sunday 😓 with a new one.
I'm looking forward to it 😍.
Good evening, Pon-chan!
What a surprise that you didn't have any sake ‼️ 😳Thanks to your husband 😅.
I'd love to send you some from our cellar ☺️❣️
It's full right now 🈵.
I have so much sake 😅 that I want and need to drink.
Hi Pon, good evening.
Sake not being in the fridge is a big deal 😁✨.
I have to be careful because I tend to buy too much around summer and both my cellar and fridge are full 💧.
Interesting how the classic turned into white wine 😊.
Good evening, Ponchan.
It's true that this sake is sweeter at room temperature 😋.
I was sick at the end of the year, so I can't reduce the amount 🙄.
I went to a liquor store for three consecutive weekends, but the selection was so lonely that it took me a long time to choose 😅.
Hi Ofuji, good evening 🦉.
No, no, I didn't drink that much 😆 I didn't buy a bottle for heating up this year, that's why I lost 😂.
I was lucky that the brewer was able to come to Isetan since I couldn't drink in Himeji 😁.
Good evening, Hanapin 🦉.
You have a good amount left, don't you? And there's still more to come 😆👍At the beginning of the year, liquor stores sometimes have a poor selection, so a little extra is good 😉.
Take it easy and drink 🥹.
Good evening, Mr. Muro 🦉.
Please send me 🤣.
I really appreciate your husband 🙏 I was stunned 🤣.
I have a limited number of them because I keep them in my regular fridge💦I always groan at the liquor store while trying to decide which one to buy 😆.
Good evening, ma-ki-chan 🦉🦉.
I'm so envious of your cellar full of them 😻 So far no one has had any 🤣You are all great 👍✨Next year I'm going to buy some that I can leave outside to warm up 😁.
Good evening, bouken🦉.
Yes, I know! I'm glad we're the same 😊.
I'm sorry you had a hard New Year's Day 😰I'm glad you are able to drink 🥹.
Last year I was surprised to see Takimoto's scuzzy after New Year's 😂.
Pon-chan
Good evening... I like that you don't dare to call it Himeji Castle 😁 and Shirasagi sounds more like Japanese sake 🤣I didn't drink the sake I bought during the New Year's holiday 🤔.
Hi, kozo 🐦.
Shirasagi sounds great 🎶This one seems to be an overseas label for the famous sword Masamune Otten 🤔.
I see you have some sake for New Year! I envy you that you can drink a good one for a long time 😁.
Tangy and dry
Tastes great on its own
I tried to drink it with sashimi and simmered dishes, but it was not so good...
I was wondering why it was not good with sashimi and simmered sea eel....
It seems to go well with sweet and spicy food.
Welcome party hosted by the conference🥂.
The second drink we chose was
Shirasagi no Shiro Junmai Ginjo
This one is refreshing and fruity 🥰.
This one might be easier to pair with a meal!
It has a very clean flavor and acidity with a good sharpness.
Apple-like scent.
Calm aroma.
Sweet and sour taste
It is refreshing.
Subdued bitterness afterward.
Interesting stimulating sensation that lingers in the throat.
Shirasagi no Shiro Junmai Ginjo
Limited Sake
Banshu, Hyogo Prefecture
All Yamadanishiki
Spoils of War at the Takashimaya Sake Festival.
Sake I regretted not buying at the same event last year.
It says it needs to be refrigerated, so I asked about it and was told it was once-fired. The rice is Nojoho.
The rice is Nojoho, and it is more rounded than the other sake I have had in the past, with a rich sweetness in the second half. I don't like hiyaoroshi, but I like this one.
Nuts in the aftertaste as the temperature rises.
The third one is smoked duck and Mimigarh from Smokeya, which I bought at the Takashimaya Sake Festival!
The duck was good, but the Mimigarh was especially smoky and delicious 😋.
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival (2)
Next is Tanaka Sake Brewery
At first, we were served by the waitress, but in the second half, we had a short talk with the proprietress.
I was told by Mr. Umaumai to go talk to the proprietress! I was also told to go and talk to the proprietress 😁.
What we drank was
Shirasagi-no Shiro Junmai Ginjo Kiyoshi Oroshi
I regretted not buying this at the same event last year.
I asked if it was a draft sake because it was marked as needing to be refrigerated, and they said it was once-hot. I asked if it was a fresh sake, and was told that it had been fire-aged once. It is delicious with a gentle sweetness. It is sweeter than the regular Kajiroku. I forgot to take a picture of it but I bought it 😅I will post the picture later 🤣.
Kame-no-o Junmai Ginjo Gogo
Polishing ratio of Kame-no-o is 55
Kame-no-o offers a variety of different rice polishing ratios, and they also had a 9% polished rice ratio. The price was 33,000 yen 😳.
It was a delicious sake with a strong flavor 😋.
The price was 33,000 yen 😳 Delicious and full of flavor 😋 Shirasagi-no-jo Junmai Daiginjyo Misato Nishiki.
It is rare to find a brewery outside of Akita that uses Miso Nishiki, so I have been curious about this one for a while.
When I asked him why the rice polishing ratio is 47%, he was a little confused 🤔😅After that, he said it might be because 7 is a good number 😁. He said 😁.
It's a clear and beautiful sake. He said he also recommended heating it up.
He said they don't make the same taste every year, they change it depending on the rice and the situation of the year.
Good evening, bouken: ⭐️
Thank you very much for the mission 🤣I hope you had a good time ❓The drinks were great 👍I hope to be there at the Takashimaya store in November 💕.
Good evening, Mr. Umaïsan.
Sorry for the late comment 🙇.
I enjoyed drinking Miso Nishiki and Kame-no-o 😆.
I see you are coming back in November too 😲I wonder if it's time for the freshly squeezed Masamune Meitoh?
