I bought this at AEON Liquor when I went to AEON Katsuragawa with a friend. I was looking for something unusual for the parking fee 😁. I've had Fudo before, but this is the first time I've had Niiyu. I was able to get some free time during the day, so I went to the gym and worked out for an hour, then went straight to the bathhouse and had a nice, wide bathtub, and then had a long-overdue dinner. I started with a beer and then opened a bottle of "Hanagaki Ginjo" that my father-in-law gave me for New Year's. After the refreshing sweetness that is typical of Hanagaki, the umami flavor spreads out, leading directly to the rich aftertaste. It is relatively sweeter than most of Fukui's local sake, but it has no peculiarities and is easy to drink 😉. I'll have to consume it little by little since my cellar is overloaded with more sake from the New Year's holiday including this one 😁.
