In my family (or mainly me), for some reason, we call Tomikucho "Fukucho-san", and I had mistaken it for the name of a sake brewery until now. Tomikyucho was a brand name! The brewery is Imada Shuzo Honten, right?

Tomikunaga is the brand name of the sake brewed by Imada Shuzo. ☺️
They are a sake brewery that has restored the ancient sake rice called Yatanso🌾, which is associated with Hiroshima ✨.

I love Kai-fu-do too... this post is over a year old record, but I just happened to have had a Kai-fu-do today exactly as well! I knew I loved it. ☺️ I drank two more cups of it lol!
While retaining the same acidic characteristics as the other Kai-fu-do series, this light nigori has a very mellow and gentle taste. The aroma is subdued and refreshing, like apple or blue lemon peel. A little rice powder.
If I were to compare it to baseball, it would be a sake that has three perfect runs, offense, and defense! It has a strong image of the KAIFUDO I drank in the past, and I thought it would be acidic and sharp, but thanks to the light nigori, it has an image of umami on top of the acidity. I think it is a sake that does not choose just anyone. It should go well with dishes with strong flavors and seafood, which is the concept of this sake. The umami flavor on its own will allow you to drink it without getting tired of it! My favorite type of handsome man
