It was hot... in May... in Saitama Prefecture too. There were some extremely hot days 🤣. On the last day of GW, I went to a shopping mall on the way home from a movie with my wife. I went to a shopping mall to do some shopping. We wandered around Cardi's. Sake. Ice sake? I thought it would be good when it gets hotter. I tossed it in the back of the basket. I had it waiting in the freezer, but I didn't realize how quickly it would crisp up. It was hot, so I decided to finish it off with a dessert. Adult sherbet Naoshichi is a brand of citrus fruit from Kochi. It's good to have in the freezer from now on. ⭕️ The manufacturer is Kikusui Sake Brewery. No, it's from Kochi, so it's from here.

August 13, 2022 Lunch drink at my in-laws' house. Invited to a BBQ. We had about 3 bottles of beer. Then this one appeared. Okan's present sake series. Today I chose Kikusui. I didn't know there was a Kikusui in Tosa. I didn't know that😓I expected some sweetness since it is a junmai ginjo, but it was very dry. Sometimes it is nice to drink sake at room temperature. It's a single-batch bottle, so it's easy to open 😄.

Sasanogawa Junmai 58% 15%, 720ml, 1430 yen It is labeled Junmai but is 58% polished. The acidity is strong. This is what orthodox acidity is supposed to taste like. After the acidity comes an edgy dryness like a horse coming from behind. However, there seems to be some unique peculiarities, and depending on the day you drink it, it may bother you a little. I heard it won an award for lukewarm sake, but I should have tried heating it up to emphasize the peculiarity and find out what caused it. Rating 3.8 (out of 5.0) 20240501

Sasanokawa 35-year old sake, Junmai 60% 17%, 500ml, 5000 yen We went to a brewery in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture. It was a beautifully renovated and stylish space. There was a sign that said "Milan Sake Challenge", a double gold medal winner, which I don't know what it means. The sake was a dark color, almost black. It is rare to see such a color. It does not have the strong smell of old wine and does not have a bad smell. It is a very thick and thick sake, almost like Shaoxing sake. It has a very deep taste and is quite delicious. I would like to have a cup of sake while listening to Akari Machi's "My Birthplace is Koriyama". When I thought about what I was doing 35 years ago, all I could think of was ping pong dash. I bought it last year as a souvenir from Utsunomiya. It's been a while since I've had "out of the gate", but my taste buds have changed since the last time I had it, so I'm looking forward to it! When you open the bottle and pour it, it smells like citrus fruits and lychee. It is tasteless on the palate, but gradually the richness and mellowness of the rice comes out. The sweetness, spiciness, and astringency of the flavor are all present as soon as the lid is opened! Although it is a junmai ginjo, it has such a robust flavor that it may be served warm. The overtone is similar to that of "Shinkame" and gives the impression of a matured sake. The lingering aftertaste is well rounded as it quickly fades away. Overall, the shades of gray are exquisite, and the taste is quite interesting! In fact, the first sake I ever drank in my life was "Monkai Fude. I was actually the first person in my life to drink sake, and that drink at Kinugawa Onsen has led me to the present day.

A favorite liquor store introduced this sake as "sake that goes well with food". I drank it cold. It was very good, a little dry but also sweet and refreshing, much better than I expected! It was perfect for a 👀👏 dinner with rice 🍶 It seems to go with everything👌. It is available in supermarkets in Tochigi prefecture where we live 🙆🙆.

Not much aroma. Slightly yellowish. The sake is junmai sake, so you would expect it to be robust, but it has a light mouthfeel. The light sweetness and acidity are pleasant. It is only 500 ml, so it ran out quickly. I wonder if I should throw it away or reuse it after drinking out of the Italian bottle every time. I'm a poor person, aren't I?

Tasted and purchased. Firmly sweet but refreshing. Maybe citrusy? Dangerous one because of the low alcohol content. I wish Shirobotan would release fresh sake. It is sweet, but the alcohol taste is a little strong. I feel it is a bit strong. I think it tastes better after about 2 days than when it is freshly opened, even though it is fire-aged. It is similar to the impression I had when I drank it at a tasting.

Today, my wife and son bought some Hakuryu Nigori👍 at a nearby Aeon. Thanks for telling me that you saw Hakuryu nigori sake with a warning sign on it so you bought it for me ❣️ I've been drinking beer and shochu on the days we don't have sake at home, but it doesn't suit my constitution or something 😅I wake up at least 3 times during the night and rush to the bathroom 🤔❓I'm still not sure if it's the amount of sake I drink or the fact that it's alcoholic or not 🤔❓ Well then, open the bottle: ‼️ The aroma is lactic acid with a hint of alcohol. The taste is also lactic acidic with a strong carbonation 👍It has 18% alcohol by volume so if I finish it, I will get very drunk 🤣. I'd recommend it more as a standalone drink than as a food drink 😆.

This Sake has a full mouth feel and a rich flavor. It has the flavor of sweet melon. There is also a bit of acid at the finish to give this a clean aftertaste. Very nice!

I bought this bottle at Belk's on my way to work because my body was in need of a drink. I got the impression that it is not a traditional sake, but a modern, clean or refreshing drink. And the specs are Rice used: Domestic rice (both rice and rice malt) Polishing ratio = 50%. Sake meter = around 2.0 Acidity = around 1.4 Amino acidity = around 1.1 (From the brewery's website) If you are going to drink a cup of sake, you want it to have this level of quality. This is a bottle from a long-established brewery in Handa, Aichi, which has been in existence since the Edo period.
