The long awaited fountain bridge!
I found it at an upscale supermarket in a local neighborhood.
My first impression was a moderate sweetness and a pleasant sourness.
As I drank more, I could taste some bitterness.
Delicious 🤤.
It was hot again today. So, microbubbles.
I adjusted my monthly alcohol intake with a small bottle.
The blue label made me think it would be a refreshing sake, but I thought it would be a nigori sake, so I thought it would be deliciously sweet.
After drinking it, I realized it was that way! Dry and refreshing!
It also has a slightly sparkling, slightly tangy taste, which makes it feel even drier.
I think this is the limit of what I can perceive with such a small amount.
◆ Aroma ◆
Refreshing aroma of papaya, green apple, lime, and juniper berry-like acidity. The minerality comes from the fact that the water used for brewing is hard water.
Taste
A slightly sharp mouthfeel with a refreshing, yet firm, volume that can only be achieved with sake made from pure sake.
Pairing
Pair with summer vegetables such as molokyu, BBQ meats, and bonito tataki. It is good not only cold sake but also hot sake.
Since it has an alcohol content of 18%, we recommend drinking it on the rocks or with carbonated water if you feel it is too strong.
Natsuyago Junmai Sake
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Alcohol content 18%.
Polishing ratio 65% (domestic rice)
100% Yamadanishiki
This is the first time I have had this sake.
At 18% alcohol by volume, it is slightly higher than most sake.
The mouthfeel is clean and sharp.
It was like a Junmai sake. ✌️
It goes well with Japanese food 🍣.
Easy to drink. ‼️
