SAKEWA Kansai Chapter 2024 New Year's Party Report: 4️⃣ Next up is Shiraki Hisashi's Honey Drop🍯. I had the impression that Shirokiku always served only unique sake, but I hadn't had it yet, so they shared it with me. It was sweet in the mouth, with a hint of sourness. It's not a kijo sake, but a sake this sweet has quite an impact 👀.

SAKEWA Kansai Chapter 2024 New Year's Party Report: 3️⃣ Next up was another draft sake, a long time coming, brewed by Kusumori🌳. Maru brother who was sitting in front of us ordered some 🍶. It wasn't freshly opened, so it wasn't schwirling, but it had a grapefruitiness to it and flowed smoothly. It had a nice sourness to it that reset my mouth ✨. I thought when I saw the picture, that brewed forest has a bottle 💡.

SAKEWA Kansai Chapter 2024 New Year's Party Report: 2️⃣ Next up was another unfiltered raw sake✨. Nishibori had never had one before so we decided to order it 💡. It has a strong rice sweetness, and this one is also sweet like Wasanbon, leaving a bit of a lingering taste on the tongue. Upon closer inspection, it was a Tochigi sake 👀. It was like we were all drinking while saying that Tochigi sake is of a high level after all. ⤴️

SAKEWA Kansai Chapter 2024 New Year's Party Report: 1️⃣ I know it's a little late, but I'm starting the New Year's Party Report. (I'm glad I could do it before the next one starts💦) The first meeting was at Fusae in the 2nd building, but I saved it for beer so I could enjoy the all-you-can-drink first meeting (everyone drank almost all the beer in the first round, though...) After that, we took the Yotsubashi line to Higobashi and arrived at the venue for this event, "Ojisan to Sake" 🚇. I ordered Ippo-self by QR mobile order, but mine didn't go through due to being on the same flight as bouken-san's, so I ended up asking bouken-san to share it with me 💡. It was a perfect toast with a refined sweetness like wasanbon and flowed smoothly ✨. By the way, I saw on NHK Family Cheers on March 11 that Tsurube visited the brewery and it made me want to drink it again 💨.

This is the sake we drank at the Kansai Branch New Year's Party. I drank so much sake that I don't remember the taste, but it was the last sake I drank! If I had just started drinking sake, Tasake would have been my first or second choice. It's been a while since I've had it, but it had a very consistent taste 😊.

Kansai Sake-new year party21 It's been about 5 years since I've had it, but it's still delicious! I've had a few of these in the past, so I'll put a digest of them here, but I also had a bottle of Kuroryu Jungin 😋. I haven't had it in a while, but it's a bit melon-y, like a calm food sake. The 3 hours went by so fast ⏰. We changed seats during the party, but some of us couldn't talk to each other, so we'll see you next time 😊. The next day, I posted on the restaurant's Instagram that 15 bottles of sake had been emptied, and I wonder if the owner was a bit surprised 🤣. Continue to the second meeting...

The Kansai Salmon Association New Year's Party (1935) Another brand of Takachiyo! Koryu is only available at four stores in Japan 😳. The sweet and tasty taste, but not like Takachiyo. I didn't realize it was aluzoe until Sakeran told me 😅 I wonder if all koryu are alu-sweetened?

Kansai Sake-new year party ⑬ First Omine in a long time. 3 years? Flavors of muscat and grapes. The juicy sweetness comes a little after the start of drinking. There is also a fair amount of acidity. Gentle sweetness with a gentle mouthfeel. I was not impressed with the Omine Yamadanishiki fire-brewed about 5 years ago, but the specs are different from then and the sake quality must have improved a lot.

Kansai Sake-new Year's Party ⑫ I have an image of Ame-go-no-Tsuki as relatively sweet, but the super dry one seems to be a standard product. It has been three years since I drank Ame-go-Tsuki, including outside the house. It has a sake strength of +14, which is also a spec I don't usually drink. The rice is Hachitan-Nishiki. Unlike Yamaboshi and Daishinshu, it was much spicier. I borrowed Jive's photo as I didn't seem to have taken a picture of it. I can't give you the details, but Ofuji-san made a big announcement here!

Kansai Sake-new Year's Party (11) The hottest sake in Japan 😳! Sake degree +28😱! No sweetness at all but sharp and dry so you feel easy to drink 🤔. I guess it depends on the order in which you drink it and the food you pair it with though. I think we were talking about how it's really spicy if you drink this after drinking a different sweet sake. I wonder if I can drink Sanzenmori if I can drink this. I wonder...
