Meeting around TOMO 2024①. Since Tomo-san was coming to Osaka, we had a party with him at Ojisan and Sake, which has become a regular event of the Kansai Off-line Meeting. Last year, it was a weekday, so I couldn't join the party. The participants were Tomo, Pon-chan, Rafa, Rutemi, Hirupeko and me. I'm sorry we arrived just before (or after?) the start of the party, just like the last time we had a party with Mr. Gura at this restaurant. Sorry for arriving at the last minute. I guess the proximity to Higobashi makes people let their guard down 🙄. The toast was Tomo's choice of Jyukyu 😊. The specs of Jyuukyu are not always listed on the label, but according to the information from the liquor store, it has the following Sake is a junmai daiginjo with a rice polishing ratio of 45%, Kinmon-Nishiki M310 yeast, Sake strength of -6.03, acidity of 2.6, and is bottle heated and fire-aged. The one I've had in the past had an orange animal, but because it's Kinmon-nishiki? It's golden. The previous one was Hitogokochi with different specs 🤔. It's fire-aged but gorgeous, fruity, sweet and juicy and delicious 😋. The introduction of the sake shop says it's a "summer over" sake, so I wonder if it's a hiyaoroshi type of sake? I thought I haven't had it recently, but it's been 3 years since I last had it 😅.

Thanks for the offline meeting, Ponchan 🙇. It usually comes out when my memory becomes doubtful, but it was black from the beginning 🙄. Takimoto-san also has it, but it sells out rather quickly, so I don't come across it often 💦.

Report 10📝 on Mr. Gura's welcome party The last? is my personal favorite summer sake in Sanin, Gassan🍉. It flows like water and is not sticky at all. I think I drank a few others as we moved around the table, but I have no further record of them 💧. This time we had plans for later, so Gula and I said we'd see each other again in Fukuoka and split up ✨. It was an offline meeting where I was able to drink brands that I don't drink myself and was inspired once again 💡.

Yoohee, thanks for posting offline 😆. It was the beginning of June and there was a lot of summer sake 😅. I don't like many summer liquors because they are too refreshing, but I thought it's not good to hate them by drinking them at offline meetings 😊.

Report on Mr. Gura's welcome party 9📝. I did not even know there was a brand name Kurumazaka in Wakayama. I was lured by the words "aged at room temperature for 20 years" and decided to try it 💡. I was surprised to find out that it is not so different from Shaoxing sake with less sweetness..,

Report on Mr. Gura's welcome party 8📝. Next is Shikishima, who is famous for being a bit peculiar. It has a strong flavor and seems to go well with meat dishes. Personally, I prefer a flavor as distinct as this one 💡. I had another spec Shikishima waiting for me at home, so it was a good reading comparison 🙆.

Report on Mr. Gura's welcome party 6📝. Next is Shibaurachu, which at one time was a hot topic due to the small number of stores that carried it. This season, the production volume may have increased, and it is now easier to get it even in Kansai👍. It is easy to drink like water, with a slight bitterness at the end💨. This one also seems to be shaken for summer sake.

Report on Mr. Gura's welcome party 5📝. Next up is the local Yokoyama summer jungin (summer pure gin), which I have been drinking every year for some reason. As you can see from the label, it's a clear and rummy 💨. If you like the usual sweetness and aroma, this may not be for you 💡.

The jacket looks like a wartime illustration and conveys a bit of fear: ⚡️ The taste is very lactic acidic, which I personally like, so I was able to drink it smoothly👍.

Report on the welcome party for Mr. Gura 1📝. I've skipped posting for about two weeks again💧. I will do my best to pack it in during the Bon 💨 Here is a report on the welcome party for Gula, who came to Osaka again this year in June: ✏️ The last Kansai Chapter New Year's party was held at Uncle and Sake 🏬. When I got off at Higobashi station, I was in a bit of a hurry as it looked like I was just in time for the meeting, and I met up with Nemuchi-san. After that, we were seated close to each other and he told me "There's hana-yosu ❗️" and I said "That's nice!" and we ended up toasting sake 💡. It tasted like a pineapple in my mouth and did not betray my expectations 🍍.

SAKEWA Kansai Chapter 2024 New Year's Party Report: 2️⃣ 0️⃣ This is the last 20 drinks🍶. You all can review this much in one day, but if an amateur started doing it, this is how it would be💧. This is also my first time sharing Sawanoizumi 💡. I thought it was dry on the palate, but the umami gradually spread and I enjoyed the surprisingly robust flavor ✨. I'm so grateful to be able to get a bottle of Sendai's Sake Kawashima's special order in Osaka 🙌! The master's love of sake was evident in the store, as he stocks his own special sake from all over the country👍. After the party, bouken and I stopped by our usual liquor store and bought some cat sake that was handed to us before we knew it 😹. It was a great day drinking with everyone. *Thanks for the photos of everyone 📷

SAKEWA Kansai Chapter 2024 New Year's Party Report: 1️⃣ 7️⃣ We decided to have Osaka sake at the end of the party🌸 It is called Yamahai, which means "mountain waste", and it has a deep flavor with a lot of umami. I've been drinking a lot of smooth sakes, so drinking them in this order makes a strong statement👍. I wish I had known about this brewery when I lived in Osaka 💧.

SAKEWA Kansai Chapter 2024 New Year's Party Report: 1️⃣ 6️⃣ Next up was the Takagami🐉 Goddess of the Sea Kanji was too difficult to come up with💧. I didn't know that Takachiyo's brewery was serving it in Arzoe. It's very refreshing to drink and flows smoothly. The name may be cool, but the label is simple and cut-out style.

Flower letters like the ones in the frame of a fine Chinese restaurant🪷. Upon closer inspection, it was an oriental beauty✨ The ginjo aroma spreads quickly and the sweetness is quite firm. Definitely a gift 👍

SAKEWA Kansai Chapter 2024 New Year's Party Report: 1️⃣ 3️⃣ I've been slacking off quite a bit, so I'll pick up the pace 💨 I had the impression that Hidakami's Gin no Iroha was quite tasty when I drank it, but what about Atago's Matsu? There is not that much fruitiness in the fruit house, and the impression is quite smooth and flows like water. I was surprised that they have Junmai Daiginjo at Atago no Matsuri 👀. I wonder where they differentiate themselves from Hakurakusei?

Hanamup Riku Haneda. Sake with my uncle who was visiting the restaurant for the first time on account of his business trip to Osaka. The first sake we had was Hanamup. Rikuwada is a rice grown by the Takagi Sake Brewery, and Ryoseki Sake Brewery is the only brewery in the country that uses this rice. It is delicious with a strong core of rice flavor!

I think the flower logo is Japanese style and the image matches the label's packing slip💡. The ginjo aroma comes on quickly and flows like water. Even when drunk, it's easy to drink ✨.
