It was sweet and mild. It is a delicious sake. The national tour is a reach after finishing Sentoku! Now we just have to wait for the fishhooks. I heard that the Okinawa sake brewery will reopen on Ishigaki Island. I will look forward to the reopening!

I've already conquered Sentoku, Reimei, and other prefectures I haven't drank yet, but I didn't make it to Kagoshima because I ran out of stock 💦. Well, I got "Tenpyo" the other day, so I can recover from that 😊. Finally, I thought I'd ask for one more sake, lukewarm 🍶. Hikami Honjozo, warmed to lukewarm. The sakeiness that is typical of heated sake, the umami that is almost astringent at the mouth, the sweetness that spreads after the umami, the sweetness that spreads after it finishes and the bitterness that lingers on the tip of the tongue at the end. I was interested in the "Hitakami" that Mr. Hirupeko drank the other day. It is a honjozo, but it is different from local sake, and it is delicious. I also had a hot dish [beef tendon and tofu] 🍲. Just when I thought I was off to a good start, the train was delayed and I had to slide back one bullet train to get to Onomichi 😁.

Hi Gyve, thanks for having me 😃. I had this at the offline meeting 🥹The fish is good, but I can't help but think of beef sirloin 🤤. Great start to your trip 🤗I'm looking forward to the Onomichi part too ☺️

Good evening, Jay and Nobby 🌛. I was wondering what to have with my entrée, but I decided that if it's a honjozo, I can't go wrong with a stewed dish anyway 😁. We arrived safely in Onomichi and started our nighttime city tour 🍺.

After "Sentoku," I also had a taste of Okinawa, a prefecture I had not yet swallowed. Reimei Honjozo Slight aroma of rice, thin mouthfeel, impact of rice flavor and koji, and then it quickly cools down, and finally the rice flavor spreads and the koji lingers at maximum output. Somewhat like Awamori 🤔. It is difficult to match "Reimei" with sashimi because of the impact of koji. I wonder if it would go well with sweets seasoned with brown sugar or mineral-rich salty taste such as tempura of mozuku seaweed like in Okinawa 🤔.

As the second half of my refresher vacation approached, I asked my wife to allow me to take a one-night trip, so I took the train to Onomichi, my "soul hometown. On the way to Onomichi, I got off at Shin-Osaka to connect to the Shinkansen and went to Nurukan Sato, a restaurant I visited at the last off-line meeting in Osaka, to have lunch and make a strategic move toward conquering the whole country. There were four prefectures left: Ehime, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Okinawa, so we chose Miyazaki and Okinawa, which were in stock 🍶. Sentoku Junmai Sake. A full rice aroma, juicy rice flavor, followed by a sweet taste, a sharp finish, a slight sweet aftertaste on the nose, and a bitter taste spreading to the tip of the tongue. It was delicious with the sashimi of sea bream and tuna that we ordered for our entrée 😋. I would have liked to have had horse sashimi as well as sashimi 🤔.

〜Off-line meeting with J&N Sakenowa in Kansai, Osaka (7) Yes, the waiter didn't seem to understand Japanese very well, and Nemuchi-san struggled with him 🙄(the second photo). When I said "half a gou", she said "3 gou? I was told "3 gou" 🤣. The last drink of the first party was Akirika's Sesshu Nose. We started with Kurehaaru and ended with Akirika. I didn't think the first and last drink would be Osaka sake 😳. I remember buying a bottle of Sesshu Nose at the supermarket a long time ago when I was not interested in sake. I was not interested in sake and bought it at a supermarket a long time ago! Such an easy motive to buy. It was a long time ago when the local Koyo was Daimaru Peacock😅. It's not that bad when I drink it again. I felt it had a stronger moldiness that I sometimes get with Akizuka sake. Personally, I take it in a positive light, so it's not a disgusting nuance. Mr. pyonpyon suddenly told me that me and Mr. Jaive look alike, like brothers or twins, and took a snapshot 🤣I wonder if it's the glasses, jacket, and facial lineage 🤔(3rd photo). On to the second meeting 😉.

Osaka off-line meeting (4) The text is getting out of sync with the photos of the drinks 😅 Sawaya Matsumoto, which I haven't had in a while! It was delicious 😋. I was thinking of drinking it at home next time. ❗️ We also had Chitose-Tsuru, Kariho, and many more 👍 The fun time passed quickly and the 2 hour first party was over 🥲. We said goodbye to Kyuzo-san, Hirupeko-san, Jaive-san, and Usagigoten-san who couldn't make it to the after-party 😭 We haven't talked enough yet, but we all took a quick photo 📷. And here's a quick search for mistakes 🎉! The second group photo! There are 3 funny places 😁Can you guess which one is easy 😆⁉️ In search of a place for the after-party, we went to the streets of Osaka, which was crowded on Saturday! It was hard because of the large number of people, but thank you for finding the right place 😌. We had a lot of fun talking while we were looking for a restaurant, but then Lutemi and Uma-san had to leave 🥲See you again 👋. 〜Off-line meeting with J&N Sakénawa in Kansai, Osaka (7) I forgot to write the time line and the number of words, so the story goes back and forth, but the time to change seats didn't go well, and Mr. Sakeran was disappointed 😓. Everyone called me Sekeran 😁. The 7 people I moved to were Gyve, Maru, Hirupeko, Kyuzo, Usagigoten, and pyonpyon. Gozenshu9 is a casual label and bottle, but I thought the quality of the sake was very Japanese. There are many varieties of Gozenshu in the lineup, but the one we drank was probably this one, which is a year-round product. I also have the impression that the Gozenshu Bodai-Hashiroshi, which is not Gozenshu 9, has a different atmosphere from the sake I have had in Nara.

〜Off-line meeting in Osaka with J&N from Kansai I don't know what this one is, but I think it's a Banshu 50 in terms of specs after a search. There are three types of Ginban 50: Banshu is Yamadanishiki, Bizen is Omachi, and Ecchu is Tominokou. It is clear as it is written in the "Tanrei" (light and clear) section. It has a clear sake quality. We were at the first table with J&N and Kyuzo. I have met Kyuzo many times, but we are always seated far apart, so I think this was the first time we talked properly.

Osaka off-line meeting (1) After Kurehaaru, the second sake I had was Nishi no Seki nigori sake (❗️), which was also my first drink 😋. It was my first time to drink this one 😋 It was quite nigori-zake, but not too sweet and easy to drink! There were 15 participants including us this time, and the venue was divided into three tables (4/4/7). We were seated at the middle table with Kyuzo and Bouken🤗 in front of us. Kyuzo-san, who had invited us to come to the Kansai area, had a nice skin tone that made Nobby surprised that he was the same zodiac sign as Jay ✨. When Nobby opens Sake no Wa, bouken-san is almost always the first person to come up 😆 He knows a lot about sake, and I thought Jay was at least 10 years older than him 😅 excuse me 😆. And from the table of 4 next to us, Nemuchi-san ❗️ from the sleepy healer's name, I took the liberty of thinking he was older than me wearing a kimono 😅In fact, he's light on footwork and goes around sake events 🤗. And Luteltemi-san, who drinks almost every day with a limit of two drinks every day😄I'm honored that you said you've always wanted to meet and talk with me! To be continued

〜Off-line meeting in Osaka with J&N from Kansai It only says "Chitosekuru Junmai", and a search shows that there are several types of Junmai, but I think it must be Ginpu, according to the description and specs of the store.
