Souvenirs of Akita Trip - Part 3 This is the last souvenir of Akita sake. This is Nozozo from Fukurokuju Sake Brewery, which brews Isshaku Suisei. It is rarely seen in Tokyo, but I bought it because I enjoyed drinking it at Eiraku Restaurant. It starts with a melon aroma and sweetness. It finishes with a pleasant bitterness. If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be "full-bodied water," but it finishes with a refreshing kick. Yes, it is delicious! I heard that if I do a crafan, I can get it every year... I think I'll start!

The second part of the Akita trip. This is A-Sakura. I originally liked this sake, but after drinking it at Eiraku Restaurant, I was hooked. Now, I wonder if that impression is real or if it's just the travel effect. Oh, it's still delicious! It is easy to drink like the best water, but you can feel the flavor of the rice and the sweetness of the sake. The very best of balanced sake: ❤️ I'm glad I bought it!

I went to Akita, the land of beautiful sake 🎵 Of course, I also went to the sacred Eiraku Restaurant. I also drank Shinmasa's Ubei and Yonotori, which can also be drunk in Tokyo. This time, I brought back three of my favorites as souvenirs. Today is the first of them. Akita's sake is often sweet and sour, but this one is dry and goes down easy. You can drink it all the time without getting tired of it. There were also red and purple varieties, both of which were delicious.

I received my favorite Gokotsuru from a friend and will enjoy it. My usual favorite is Hitogochi Gokotsuru, but this one is even more mellow. Well, I'm going to get drunk with a good feeling.

I like Morishima-san and Umami-sweet, but as a sake drinker, this might be more my type. As the label says, it is dry and has a melon aroma. It goes well with dishes with strong flavors. I was supposed to take a picture before opening the bottle, but I forgot and drank much of it. 💦.

Today is the first Kaze no Mori in a while. 657 is said to be the origin of the No. 7 yeast with a rice polishing ratio of 65%. This sake is a standard type of Kaze no Mori and is said to be a balanced sake. It has the characteristic Kaze no Mori schwarziness, yet it is not too sweet. It has a champagne feel to it! It's delicious 😋.

I bought it because I found a different feeling of rainfall, which I have been seeing frequently lately. It is actually brewed in Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The taste is just like the name says, apple flavor, a little sweet, or is it a refreshing apple water? I thought it tasted juicy and sour, but it ended up with a bitter taste. This is apple water for adults. Yeah👍This is a nice touch. It's not wine or cider, but it's the type I'd like to drink in a wine glass.

It was this one that soothed my rough heart after a rough day at work. I originally like Sasaichi, but Hiyayogoshi has sweetness, umami, and a pleasant slight acidity. Ummm, good. I wonder why this sake is not available in Kanto. I wonder if it is not profitable because of its cosy taste.

I recommended it to a friend and she said she was hooked. The first sip has a melon🍈 aroma and taste, and then it flutters away. It's a good feeling. Urasato is delicious, but I think the classic Kirizukuba is also delicious!

It was given to me by a member who travels with me. It has a nice flavor and sweetness that spreads slowly. This kind of softness is also good...I feel hiyaoroshi-ness. The label says that the aroma will spread as the cold sake warms up, but it's great if you pour it into a glass and drink it sipping by sipping!

It is like a full-bodied juice. It is a sweet and tasty type of drink, but it seems to be sharp at the end. Personally, I like this type too. This year, I drank it for the first time at a pub and bought it to reconfirm it. It was good.

Souvenirs from Toyama trip I couldn't find the yellow green wave that I drank over there, so I bought a green wave. In terms of excitement, Yellow Green Wave was great, but Green Wave is also delicious. The sake rice is Miyamanishiki, so it has a full-bodied, slightly spicy flavor. It finishes dry and crisp, so it goes well with all kinds of food.

Hats off to the balance of this sake. It doesn't have to go all the way to Junmai Daiginjo. If it's there, you have to drink it. It's great! Can I have another one? I felt like I had to have another one! I'm the kind of guy who can have another. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This is a series of souvenirs from my trip to Nagano. Shinshu Kamerei is a good sake after all. This sake is a little tight. It has a nice aroma and disappears quickly. I can understand why it is so popular. The sake rice, Yamae-Nishiki and Hitogokochi, are wonderful.

There is a sake that you have never seen until the very last minute. It is a special junmai from Chiyotsuru. It is the first label I have ever seen, even though it is that classic label that is associated with Chiyotsuru. The mouthfeel is also refreshing with little acidity characteristic of Chiyotsuru. You can drink it as much as you want.

After the Narimasa, the next sake was Soyokaze Junmai by TAMAGAKU. Unlike the Tama-Asahi that I had the day before, this sake was made with water. I like this type better because it is more like a Toyama sake! Just like the name "Soyokaze," the wind blew down my throat. I am sure we won't see each other again this summer. Let's meet again next summer.

This is a summer sake from Narimasa, which we also received last summer. It is really water, and if you drink it chilled, it is natural water from the Alps. It refreshes my hot body.

Toyama Trip Last Supper We had this at the recommendation of the restaurant. The aroma is like melon even though it is apple yeast. The taste is clean but fresh. But the sourness came out later. It is delicious.
