The second bottle was a Jungin made with Kanagawa's local sake, Yamadanishiki! The aroma and mouthfeel both bring out the deliciousness of the Yamadanishiki....
Today, my eldest son came back from Kanagawa, and he stopped by 4 sake breweries and bought me some sake 🍶... First of all, this one 💁 was completely unmarked... I didn't know the brand or the brewery... The label looks stylish, 60% polished rice, what rice is it? It has a classical mouthfeel. I think it is better to drink it as it is than to drink it with a meal (⭕️). I wonder if there are various local sakes in Kanagawa...
I bought it at a recommended in-person sale at Ikebukuro Seibu...! What is the rice used for sake? What is it? Miyamanishiki? Is it Gohyakumangoku? Well, it's good because it's delicious... It's also delicious sipped as is 😋, but I enjoy it with shiokara crackers & yakitori from "Shiino", a well-known salted fish cracker shop♪ Nagano sake 🍶 delicious♪.
Local sake from Tanzawa in Kanagawa 🍶Fruity aroma of Omachi .... You can feel the umami of Omachi...not too sweet, but mellow and umami. I enjoy it with my booming "whale sashimi" as a snack! There are many more delicious sake 🍶♪
I've always wanted to try Nagano sake 🍶 sake brewed with Hitogokochi from Nagano Prefecture...the aroma is subtle...sweet and bitter on the palate with a good bitter aftertaste...you can taste the delicious rice flavor 😋...delicious 😋...seasonal bonito. Bonito. I'm enjoying it with sashimi of bonito, isaki, and swordfish. .... I'm enjoying it...
I had an image of a traditional sake, but this is a very DRY junmai made with Yamadanishiki from Hyogo Prefecture and brewed by a Chichibu-raised brewer......................umami and a nice bitter aftertaste that gives it a sharp edge! It's good as a food sake.....................................................I guess there are different tastes. ....
Sake from my hometown, Saitama Prefecture🍶It's been a long time since I've had an Igarashi... 65% polished rice, low alcohol content (13%) though it is a pure sake, and what kind of rice is used? Omachi? Yamadanishiki? The aroma is of sweet rice, and the mouthfeel is full of mellow rice flavor from the moderate bitterness of sweetness and bitterness (😋)! Perfect...I like it...I'm sipping it with whale meat sashimi as a snack...
Big brother's ministry!
What the heck is this sashimi?
I know ...... that the red-rimmed sashimi in the foreground is .......
But the other three are also whale ......?
Which parts?
(I wonder if the red meat in the back is whale liver?)
The aroma is faint...it seems to be dry...but maybe it is sweet and bitter with a strong bitterness. It's good as a food sake 🙆It has a robust presence that is not typical of jun-daigin...classical feeling...I wonder if people like it or not...hmmm....... Personally, I don't like it...
I thought it would go well with strong-flavored hormone and pork marinated in miso, but... it had a fresh fruity aroma and a light dry taste that I didn't expect. I wanted to enjoy it the next day, too... but when I drank it with my son and daughter... we realized it was empty (laugh).
Hello Jay & Nobby 😃I didn't expect to be chosen...I'm so happy ☺️...😃The sake breweries in the mountains of Saitama are the.... I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a "local" sake, but it's fun to have a variety of sake to meet the needs of the times.......
Aroma: A refreshing aroma of rice reminiscent of summer sake! A fresh rice aroma reminiscent of a summer sake...A sweet bitterness with a strong bitter taste! Enjoy the mellow rice flavor 😋...and the sharpness of the aftertaste is also good👍It is delicious even if you drink it as it is 👍but...I enjoy it with potato salad and cheese 🧀...and sipping it with a side dish of potato salad and cheese 🧀.
I moved to Kanagawa and got "Ryo" from Nakazawa Sake Brewery, which is well-known for my favorite "Matsumidori"💐 Special junmai made with "Kawazu-zakura yeast" from Nishihirahata Park in Matsuda-cho, Kanagawa Prefecture, "Kinuhikari" from Ashigara, Kanagawa Prefecture and "All Kanagawa" underground water from the Tanzawa River in Kanagawa Prefecture! The mellow rice flavor from the sweetness of the rice...delicious even if you drink it as it is 😋The snacks are a Kanagawa marriage of Odawara local fish 🐟 Raw tuna, bluefin squid 🦑, specialty oshitsuke (deep-fried tofu), chicken, wakashi, horse mackerel....nothing to say...the best of all! .......a luxurious dinner.......
Hatsu Zenkichi ♪ test rice brewing 🌾 Kaori has a faint sweet rice aroma...sweet and delicious mouthfeel! The taste is sweet and delicious! Nagano sake is never bad! I'm drinking it with mackerel that I caught myself....and I'm drinking it with a side dish....so good....so good....so good....so good....so good....so good....
Jay & Nobby, Zenkichi is delicious 😋...another new discovery 💡. The homemade vinegared mackerel was so big that the pickle was too sweet... I think it would have been better as sashimi or grilled with salt... It was a delicious 😋 mackerel with a lot of fat!
I'm drinking with my youngest son, who has also returned home after a long time! I'm so glad I'm old enough to drink with my youngest son...I feel my age even after all this time...I'm so touched...It was written in the notes...but it wasn't that bad, but when I opened the bottle, poof! The aroma of mellow Omachi, the rich flavor of Omachi on the palate...delicious 😋 hey...this is a sake I will drink regularly 🍶...delicious 😋...delicious 😋.
Hi brother, good evening.
This drink is really delicious ✨
I got mine last year and I love it 😊.
I love the fact that you and your youngest son have a good relationship 🍀🎵It's so special to drink sake with your children 🍶.
ma-ki-san Good evening😃Machida Brewery never disappoints me...my kids are grown up...I'm getting old...what can I say...but I'm happy about something...I won't tell my kids... ...
Good evening, brother 🌇 Machida, you're good 😋 I'm insanely jealous of you and your kids, drinking good drinks together! I adore it 🤩It just tastes so good, but it tastes even better 😁.
Good morning, Mr. Studying 😃Last night, my second son and eldest daughter joined me for a lively evening of drinking......and before I knew it, I had fallen asleep.......
I've been wanting to try a bottle of my favorite Kanagawa sake 🍶 Matsu Midori... Koji rice is Okayama Yamadanishiki, Kake rice is Nagano Miyamanishiki, and the sake is brewed with No. 7 yeast at low temperature fermentation 🍶...the taste...mellow sweet and delicious 😋♪ Excellent balance of sweetness and acidity It's a great balance of sweetness and sourness! It's a sake that can be enjoyed in small sips, but since we're here, we're enjoying the Kanagawa marriage with Odawara local fish assortment and fried kamaboko from Suzuhiro......yummy!
I was curious about Kanagawa sake 🍶 purchased at the brewery. Is it for export? Stylish bottle. It has a 90% Omachi rice polishing ratio and 40% koji ratio from Okayama Prefecture. Aroma: Mellow Omachi sweet aroma...sweet mouthfeel! It's not so much a food sake as a wine, but rather a wine that can be drunk in small sips. It's like a dolce in wine. Recommended for first time sake drinkers! I can't wait for this encounter with this delicious sake!
A product we bought directly from Seto Sake Brewery the other day...🙆It is a Jungin Oumachi brewed with hydrangea yeast, the flower of Kaisei-cho where the brewery is located. The aroma is sweet like candy...and the mouthfeel is sweet too...you can feel the flavor of Oumachi...the moderate acidity and bitterness in the aftertaste is also good🙆It is a delicious sake that combines the traditional and modern 🙆It is a 🍶 sake...we are sipping on freshly caught edamame, fried shrimp and sakura trout🌸 as snacks...
I'm moving to Kanagawa in March for a new job... I knew I had to check out the local sake brewery... I visited the Seto Sake Brewery in person and purchased this sake! The label on the back of the bottle reads, "Traditional sake brewed using the raw yeast method, which draws out the power of nature. The label on the back of the bottle reads, "A traditional sake made using the traditional ikuhashi-zukuri method that draws out the power of nature... A powerful yet clean sake full of vitality..." The taste is sweet? It is more umami than sweet. However, it soon becomes sharp from the acidity of the sake yeast...and the aftertaste is a nice bitterness! Yes👍It is authentic! I think it is not for beginners. For the sake lovers ❤️, I also purchased a "⭕️" sake with hydrangea yeast 🍶 that goes great with sashimi 😊.
Good evening, brother!
I see that you are relocating to Kanagawa.
I don't think there are that many places in the prefecture (especially this one) that carry the previous Setoichi, or this kind of Narukata. I see you went to the brewery. I am curious. I'd like to drink it😋.
Takashi-san Good evening😃There are many delicious local sakes in Kanagawa, and I am looking forward to more 😊. I'm looking forward to visiting the brewery and listening to their stories and feelings 🍶.
Jay & Nobby Hello 😃Although I say I am transferred, I commute from Saitama Prefecture lol...as I did when I worked in Chiba, it is exciting to meet new local sake breweries 🍶...there are some that I am interested in, so I am looking forward to it😊.
Aniky‼!
I see that you have moved to Kanagawa Prefecture!
I'm sure the type of fish you can get in your hometown and Kanagawa will be different, so I'm sure there will be some changes in your sashimi pictures in the future! I'm sure the fish you get in your hometown will be different from the ones you get in Kanagawa.
Salmon orchid, yes, that's right! Unlike my hometown in Saitama, Kanagawa is rich in seafood! I am determined to enjoy the fish of the season to the fullest 😊.
The bottle looks like wine now... this is wine... when opened: .... Pop! The cork has been popped! The aroma is faint with a hint of sweetness... The mouthfeel is sweet, sweet and bitter, and then sharp! Delicious! Nagano sake is of high quality...delicious!
The brewer is Sumikawa Brewery, well-known for Toyo Bijin. It's a tropical 🏝️......and the mouthfeel is just like Yamada Nishiki, with a good amount of sweetness and bitterness, then a nice sharpness! Delicious 😋I'm enjoying it with fresh shirasu caught this morning in Odawara and tuna sashimi to compare.......
Popular local sake from Saitama 🍶It doesn't look like a Japanese sake 🍶! Aroma: Sour and sweet citrus 🍊? No...grape 🍊? The mouthfeel is rich, sweet and delicious with a strong acidity...I can feel the deliciousness of Omachi...it tastes like white wine? Sashimi, I'm having a little bit of Toyama firefly squid, which I hear is a good catch this year, as a side dish.
