I went to Imanishi Sake Brewery in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture, where the god of sake resides, to buy some samorosugi!
The aroma is not strong and refreshing.
When you drink it, it tastes sharp and crisp.
It has a beautifully balanced dry taste without any habits ^_^.

Sairai is very popular these days.

It is the No. 1 sake produced in summer.
First time to brew in wooden vats^_^.
The aroma still smells like pears.
It looks more effervescent than regular Yamadanishiki.
The taste is just as it is in Sansho, with a woody aroma that escapes through the nose. Maybe cedar? LOL!
The freshly harvested fruitiness of sanshoku is really great ^_^!
