Yesterday, the rainy season began in this area. Every year when the rainy season begins, it is temporarily hot, but today was hot. It is Father's Day. My daughter treated me to lunch. The sake label is a polar bear looking for a snack. I couldn't see the insides very well when it was muddied. The snacks were a Father's Day [9 kinds of drinkable dishes for fathers' preference] provided by a tofu shop in Kyushu. I drank too much and cannot describe it well. Please excuse me.

For the record." I chose this bottle after reading the article "The best of fish wine selected from 124 bottles compared by chefs. I knew the story of the relocation due to the earthquake and tsunami from watching it on TV. On this day, my family celebrated my daughter's decision to change her job from a harsh work environment. The rainy season has not yet started in this area, but it rained. I bought this sake for the first time. I had it with yakitori (grilled chicken), a recommended menu item that came with the bottle. The label says it is a junmai sake with a fresh aroma that spreads like a fresh green breeze and a delicious rice flavor. My impression was that it was as delicious as usual.

I used to drink whiskey on the rocks, so I thought it was good on the rocks as well. We had sashimi and fava beans together, which were redeemed with a 1,000 yen supermarket shopping coupon, and the fava beans, which are in season, were delicious.

I bought and drank Gifu Prefecture sake for probably the first time to fill in the map. My first sip was rich and fruity in flavor, with lots of umami and I thought it was complete without any snacks. It is a different world from the kind of sake I usually drink during dinner. It was so hot in Sendai today that I turned on the air conditioner for the first time this year at the request of the wife while we were cooking dinner. Afterwards, we had our first tofu (Mrs. Yamanouchi's) with olive oil and horseradish. It is Hinode hard tofu from Chiba prefecture. I recommend it.

This sake was given to me as a gift from my second daughter. The design is novel. It is probably the first cup of sake in my life. It reminded me of the taste of sake once upon a time when it was said that sake makes you feel bad. I look forward to receiving more gifts from you.

My daughter gave it to me as a souvenir. We had it with grilled liver of Oshu Iwai chicken. It was delicious. I was surprised at the number of sake that I had never heard of, even though they are from neighboring prefectures. It is fun to receive unknown sake as a souvenir.
