Here is the last sake I purchased the other day. It is a high-impact sake called "Kamikigen brewing No. 43 Honshin. As I tried it, it has a melon-like and kiwi-like aroma as described. It also has a sweetness that one can imagine the flesh of a melon, but for me, it also has a strong pungency. I first tried it with stew, but it wasn't good, but when I tried it with something sweet, the melon flavor was added, and it was a successful change.

Here is the second bottle at Obanzai Shino. My memory is a bit fuzzy at the end of the second meeting, but I drank the last bottle of Onogawa Tenka, a limited distribution product. It is a type with moderate sweetness and a sharp aftertaste. The sharpness is similar to that of Kido from Wakayama. This sake is also a perfect accompaniment to tofu. I enjoyed it.

I went to a restaurant in front of Obihiro Station called [Obanzai Shino], which is the place to go if you like Japanese sake. I told them my preference and what came out as a recommendation was Rokkasen's limited edition sake. This is a rare sake that is only available at Rokkasen's March event, and I had a somewhat precious image of it. It has a fruity aroma and a taste that is unique to Yuki-Megami (Snow Goddess), but the alcohol content is a little high at 16%. It is a good sake to be enjoyed with a side dish rather than on its own. There seems to be an event at least once a month, and I will participate in the event hosted by the restaurant later this month.

There was one more restaurant I wanted to visit in Asahikawa, and I went to Ogawa Shoten, which interacts with local izakaya in Obihiro. Here, they recommended Huataka from Oita Prefecture. I told them what I liked and decided on this one. It is refreshing but has a strong alcohol taste rather than a spicy taste. 16 degrees Celsius is a bit heavy, but it becomes softer when it is cooled down to a crisp, so it is quite tasty. I found myself drinking a lot of it because I wanted to unravel its complex flavors. The taste reminds me of sake from Kyoto or Gifu. I'm looking forward to another sake meeting at Tokachikan this fall.

It has been a while since I have been to Asahikawa. I can't get enough of Doi Shoten's customer service. I apologize for the empty bottle in the photo, but Doi Shoten is known for their Houou Mita. So I immediately noticed the Mikumari, which I missed last year. But this season is the second one, so the story is that they have come back with an upgraded version. I drank it right away, and it was still delicious. It is still slightly effervescent and has a sweet pineapple flavor, rather than a grapefruit flavor, in my opinion. The more you drink it, the more the sweetness stands out and it is really intoxicating. I want to drink Houou Mita at least once a year. I would like to go there at least once more this year.

Good evening, good news Simosa! I got Mikumari 2nd last year and it was delicious 😋. I remember it being quite schwarzy, but this year it's slightly effervescent 🎵. It still looks delicious 🤤.

The last one is here. This is a summer sake from Yamagata Masamune. It is a low-key sweet sake with a strong acidity, in keeping with the season of fireworks. The flavor is fruity, just like the manager said it was melon. We finished off with this and then moved on to the second party😅. Manager Dan, I look forward to being your guest at another sake party. Thank you very much for your long time support.

[Thanks to the manager of Tan's for retiring next week]. I took this opportunity to try this one from the Shinsei Colors series, which I had never had before. As one might expect from the Colors series, it has a strong sharpness and a moderate sweetness that goes well with a meal. The flavor and aroma of yeast No. 6 is strong, but it also goes well with a side of prosciutto chips and a mozzarella bucket.

[Thanks for retiring next week, manager of Tan]. I looked up this sake after I came back, but I didn't think it was a Kisosyu. So it will be the 2025 10th Anniversary Yamakawa Mitsuo. It is a collaboration sake from Yamagata Prefecture, and I wondered what it would taste like. I didn't expect it to be a Kisoushu sake. I think it could have been a little sweeter. It is definitely a great sake to drink with a side dish.

Thank you for retiring next week [Tan's manager]. This is Yuki no Mayu. This one is a brand-swapped version of Kochira, which I have bought myself before. It has a freshness and grapefruit-like atmosphere, and is also easy to drink. My boss who came with me praised it, saying, "This is the one for today. They also serve potato salad (a sake entrée).

[Thanks to the manager of Tan for retiring next week]. Next, I had a bottle of Nirugame 90%. I thought it would be one of the sharp ones from the Shinsei Animal series, but it was a slightly sparkling one with a strong taste of No. 6 yeast. It was less sweet than the Flaxcat, but had more of a yeast flavor than the Cosmos. The 90% is apparently quite rare.

[Thank you to the manager of Tan for retiring next week]. So, the long-awaited sake party. We started with this item. Eiheiji Hakuryu Summer Limited Edition Junmai Ginjo. I thought it was mainly refreshing and sharp, rather than having a strong impression of acidity, which is typical of summer.

I have a drinking party this weekend, and the manager of the next place I'm going to is retiring. I was disappointed because I am a regular customer of the restaurant, so I wanted to drink it and bought it. It's a Hiroshima Prefecture Tenpouichi. It was the last of the spring sake, but I decided to go with this one for some reason, and it turned out to be a fairly good choice. It has a nice fresh watery mouthfeel, followed by a strawberry-like flavor, sweetness, and a spiciness. The freshness increases when it is chilled, and the sharpness increases as it approaches room temperature. Koi Omachi is an improved Omachi, so it has a sweetness that is very appealing. I thought it was modern, but it was a classic type. It is difficult to make.

It's been a while since I finally got out of the swamp of sake-free drinking and other errands and bought some sake. I decided to start with my favorite sake for Easter, so I went with Toyo Bijin. I would have preferred to buy the Jundo Isshu series, but I was curious about this one and bought it. The taste was unexpectedly bitter compared to the usual fresh one. It is moderately sweet and has a strong taste for an oriental beauty. The spiciness can be felt well, so it may be good for eating, but I think I prefer to drink it slowly with a glass of wine in the evening. I think I prefer to drink it slowly with a glass of wine in the evening. The aroma is definitely banana-like.

Thankfully, I received sake. It wasn't aimed at me, but I was happy because my birthday was coming up. I have had Junmai Daiginjo before, and it was quite good, so I was excited to open the bottle! It is easy to drink after all. It has a little bit of a peculiar taste, but it is refreshing and has no unpleasant pungency. I was convinced by the fact that it was described as a "Ramune" when I looked up the name of the brewery. It has a slightly bitter taste compared to Ramune, so I guess it is a Ramune for adults. It is sweet, but it is rather moderate, so it is not so bad as a food drink. It was a perfect combination with the smoked Shishamo fish that I had on hand.

Kido's spring sake is a must drink in spring. It is only available in spring, so it is enjoyed once a year. I have a glass today with lotus root chips and meat and tofu as snacks. It has an exquisite mouthfeel with a nice kick of sweetness and bitterness. It's still delicious!

It is the season of spring sake. Here is one that I have been eyeing at the sake shop for a little while now. I was surprised to see such a sake with a glistening label and pink color. I took it home, opened it, and divided it into small portions as usual. It was the first time for me to see it slowly leaking out. I drank it right away and was impressed by the fermented taste... As I imagined, this is easy to drink. The reproduction of the strawberry flavor is wonderful. The low alcohol content makes it easy to drink. The alcohol content is -55, which is super sweet. It's good to drink something like this once in a while.

At Kushi 49. As a continuation, I chose this sake, which I have not had yet. However, it is drier than I expected and seems to go well with fatty foods. Personally, I would prefer it to be a little sweeter. It was well received by my friends who came with me.

It has been a while since we had a drinking party. We went to a restaurant where we had a year-end party last year and drank a variety of Japanese sake. The first sake that caught my eye was Tasake, and I started with this one. Perhaps it was the rice used for the sake, but it was a little more sharp than the previous Tasake, and I found it to be a very tasty sake for a meal. It also has a hint of sweetness, but I think it is a bit gentler.

I wanted to drink Hakurakusei that I had at a pub, so I bought it at my usual store. It is sold only at special dealers. I heard that it is recommended as the best sake for food. I bought a bottle of Junmai Ginjo, I immediately tried it and found it to have the flavor I had expected. The sweetness is moderate, the aftertaste is sharp, and the bitterness is moderate, making it easy to drink. It tastes a little like wine, but since it is not a fruit juice, there is no astringency. It can be enjoyed on its own, but I think it is best served with food.

The last sake of the New Year's party was this one. It is a Junmai Daiginjo. It is a Junmai Daiginjo, but it has a certain sweetness with a slight spiciness, and when I thought it was similar to something, the manager told me it was from the same brewery as Hakurakusei. It was indeed a wine-like flavor, and when I thought so, it became easy to drink, and after a few sips, the umami flavor increased.
