We enjoyed a variety of sake at the Ebisu Sake Walk. Among them, this Junmai Daiginjo named "Nanayo" was so delicious that I wanted to drink it every day! It is beautiful! It has a faint fizzy taste. The yuzu (yuzu citrus) sake next to it was also delicious. Sake Shujiro✕Matsui Sake Brewery. Thank you very much!

I often saw Akabu on business trips to Morioka when I lived in Sendai. I was surprised to see that it is treated as a bit rare in Tokyo. I was surprised to find that Akabu is a bit rare in Tokyo. It is so slightly fruity and free of any cloying taste that you would think it was junmai sake. No wonder it is so popular. X-GUN with meat tofu. At Ebisu.

Rare junmai ginjo from a sake brewery in Yamanaka Onsen, Ishikawa Prefecture. It is said that it is not often sold at wholesale stores. It is a slightly sweet sake that goes well with both sashimi and Western food. With the earthquake and heavy rain in the Noto region, I wondered if it would be a good idea to get drunk on sake, but I reminded myself that it is important to drink and eat in healthy places and contribute to the economy, even if only in a small way. Let's work together, Japan🤝!

Beautiful and delicious. That's all I can come up with. I can't remember the details because there was a traffic jam of other good drinks. But I do remember that it was classy and delicious. Sake, snacks, and good company, a great night!

It's delicious! Junmai Ginjo with a gentle flavor. The label with a twinkling starry sky is cool and nice. I wondered if it was a reference to Tsukuba City, then read the description and thought it was even nicer. I like the sake from Ibaraki Prefecture, with its gentle image. It went well with pork dishes with black vinegar sauce. @Moto of Sake House

This is a co-production with Shinzawa Brewery in Kawasaki-cho, Miyagi Prefecture! (Sorry, I can't enter more than one brewery.) Junmai Ginjo and Junmai, a storybook blend of sake from an earthquake. Maimai! Slightly milder than Shirakiku alone, it is easy to drink while still being dry. It is a versatile sake that can be drunk alone with fried horse mackerel or with any dish. It was a happy cup of sake made in Wajima and Miyagi. Thank you. @Moto-san

+ Goso Sake Brewery. Hang in there Hokuriku! Ishikawa! A dry sake with strength and gentleness that goes well with dried Mexicali with baby yariki and cooked burdock root. It's been a while since I've had a post about it. Sake is the best. Sakeya no Moto-san @ Ebisu

I had a chance to have sushi for the first time in a while and was served three kinds of sake, and this one was my favorite! Although it is called "super dry" sake, it is not too strong and has a gentle umami taste, making it perfect for sushi. I like the warm image of Shizuoka sake. I had been avoiding the picture of sea urchin because it looked too ominous, but I couldn't resist this one that looks like an omelette. For various reasons, I may be away from sake for a while, and I am happy to have found such a nice sake as this one to break the ice! Viva sake!

Slightly cloudy and fluffy, this is the first pressing in March of this year. It was soft and fruity with the flavor of rice. The container was also nice. It goes well with roasted chestnuts and ricotta cheese.

The first sake of December. Seri cooked in a special soup stock. This sake was served cold and refreshing. I had an image of "Ohroku" as a strong sake, but I really enjoyed this refreshing and smooth sake. A treasure trove of sake for the connoisseur, Sakebouzu @ Shibuya

The owner chose this Qianjinichi to go with the red meat. The label is cute. When I lived in Miyagi, my impression of Inui Shinichi was that it was dry. It was indeed a perfect match for meat. It was also delicious on its own. Sake is the best. Banzai Miyagi! Moto-san at Ebisu

Sake for the first time in a long time. It was my first time to drink Shoyuki. It is too good, too good, the balance of umami and clean dryness was the best for me personally. I had it with grilled herring. Nobumoto-san at Ebisu

The third sake of last night was Kamo Kanehide from Higashi-Hiroshima City. The autumnal (and Hiroshima-esque) label is very eye-catching. Compared to the previous two glasses, it was a bit more robust and dry, and although I am not a fan of strong sake, it was not that strong. It was delicious and went well with the tempura and meat. Hiroshima also has a lot of good sake. Last night we went from Akita to Fukui to Hiroshima, and by coincidence we had a good balance of north to west. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

This is my first time at Fukui's Tsuneyama. It tasted like a faint rummy (sweetness?), but with a bit of bitterness. But there was a slight bitterness, and overall it was clean and dry, and went well with a meal. I paired it with the first grilled swordfish of the season. Sakeya no Gen @ Ebisu

Sushi at Sendai Station to end the one-day trip to Sendai. I want people to drink with fish in their daily lives, I have heard that this is the wish of Hidakami. This is exactly the kind of sake I was looking for, a sake to be enjoyed with food. It was a very satisfying first day of the consecutive holidays.

By chance, I took a one-day trip to Sendai, a city with which I have a connection. Imoni (stewed potatoes), an autumn tradition in the south, east, and north of the city. Groups of people cooking pots and pans appear here and there along the Hirose River. The first sake was Kawaguchi Natto, which I had longed for! Delicious at room temperature. Delicious at room temperature. Great balance of flavor and spiciness. It is delicious because Wataya is delicious.
