I often saw Akabu on business trips to Morioka when I lived in Sendai. I was surprised to see that it is treated as a bit rare in Tokyo.
I was surprised to find that Akabu is a bit rare in Tokyo. It is so slightly fruity and free of any cloying taste that you would think it was junmai sake. No wonder it is so popular.
