Purchased the Aizan version of Miyasaka, which I enjoyed once! The light gassiness and elegant sweetness of Aizan is superb. Good to drink chilled in a daiginjo glass 😊.
Junmai Daiginjo from Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten, famous for its sake "Saku". I had been saving it for a special occasion and opened it just in time for my wife's birthday! This is delicious 😋 It has an exquisite melon, muscatel-like elegant sweetness and acidity. It ran out quickly.
Sake brewed by Mr. Naohiko Noguchi, the god of sake brewing. We compared the sake with different sake cups. I prefer to drink it at room temperature to lukewarm with a sake cup. The classic flavor has a complex bitter-sweet-acid taste. Enjoy the changes over time.
Tanaka 65 has been on my mind for a while. The aroma is mild and fruity, but it has a core. I prefer it at room temperature rather than chilled. It is a good food sake that goes well with oden and simmered dishes.
Melon type aroma and taste, delicate and gorgeous, very delicious. I imagined it would taste more classical, but it was easy to drink and to my liking 😊I would like to try the other series 🙆♂️.
Sake brewed in Omachi, Morishima, which is delicious no matter which one you drink. It has a deep sweetness and crisp acidity, and is truly delicious. It can be served as a mealtime sake or on its own.
This is truly a sake that creates a stir.
I like Kameizumi, so I bought it because of the CEL-24 connection. It's fruity, sweet and sour, and delicious 😋 It's so acidic that I thought it was wine, which is different from the image I had of Bishou. I can't wait to see the reaction when I recommend it to someone who doesn't drink sake!
Purchased "Ki" which I had seen in magazines and reviews and was curious about! It tastes like apple, has a solid core and is delicious at room temperature. After a few days, the curd was removed and the flavor turned mellow. It would be good as an in-between-dinner drink with oden with dashi broth.
It has been a long time since I have had an instrument Masamune. When you take a sip, it is juicy like eating a fruit, and the sweet and sour taste is pleasant. It is low in alcohol, so you can drink more and more. I will buy it again when I find it.
For my second daughter "San"'s birthday, I chose a sake with her name on the label. It's delicious. I think this is the third bottle in the series, but all of them have a beautiful acidity and I never get tired of drinking them. The Dewa Sanzai has a full-bodied rice sweetness and a gorgeous taste. It is easy to match with food and I would recommend it to others.
This sake is brewed by Wakanami Shuzo using rice called Jyujiminmu. It is delicious when served crisply chilled in a wine glass. Less acidic than the standard Wakanami, with just the right amount of sweetness and umami to go down your throat smoothly. It was a taste suited for summer.
I discovered "Niidashi Zenshu" which I had been curious about for a long time. It has a thick, honey-like flavor. The taste reminds me of old wine, Shaoxing wine, so it goes well with Chinese food. Not a lot to drink at once, but a satisfying last drink.
Purchased at Saisho Sake Shop in Miyakonojo, Tokyo, as it was recommended as a food sake. When served chilled in a glass, it has an elegant taste. It is a beautiful sake. Sashimi, Jidori chicken tataki, simmered dishes, etc...it enhances any dish.
As the temperature rises, the umami and soft sweetness become more pronounced. I may want to try another brand.
It has a pleasant gassy, schwirling, grapefruit-like citrus flavor. It's low alcohol and slurps really well. It's a good thing I saved it to drink during the summer 😆.
bana❕Snoclet tastes so good I end up drinking it right away 🤣🤣.
I like the idea of leaving it out for the summer ⤴️.
Maybe I'll give it a try 😍I wonder if I can be patient enough to leave it there lol 🤣
At a recently discovered yakitori restaurant in Takanabe Town. The owner is from Akita Prefecture and has a full lineup of the Kumansaku no Hana series.
As the name suggests, it has a strong and dry taste that goes well with yakitori. It's perfect for drinking while eating 😆.
This series expresses the taste of each sake rice by taking advantage of the characteristics of No. 7 yeast. It has a gorgeous aroma, a well-balanced taste of sweet and bitter, and a pleasantly subtle gaseous sensation. Perfect for summer evenings. As expected of Yamadanishiki, the royal road! 😊
Purchased at Saisho Sake Shop in Miyakonojo. It is said to be a refreshing sake perfect for summer, brewed with white malted rice.
It tastes great chilled! It tastes like pear or melon, and the low alcohol content makes it easy to drink 😊I took it with me on a deserted island trip and drank it all up 😊.
Refreshingly dry, with a classic sake taste lingering in the aftertaste. The rice used, Tamakabane, gives a different impression than when I drank Shichihonjari, but it may have the same solid structure. When I brought it as a souvenir to a home-drinking party, it was well received even by those who don't usually drink sake.
I forgot to take a picture during the fun party.
Fruity but robust. We compared it chilled in a wine glass, a tin cup, and a ceramic sake cup. The ceramic sake cup is my favorite for drinking as a food sake. The balance of sweetness, bitterness, and acidity is just right.
It was a perfect match with the eel we received!
Fruity, with a taste of rice sweetness to my liking. The first day I chilled it and drank it in a wine glass, it tasted moderately sweet and had a good acidity. Drank it a few days later in a tin boar cup and it tasted like melon and grapes, yummy! It was gone in no time😊.
