Fukura Junmai Daiginjo-shu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Polishing ratio 50% ave 15 degrees Today, we have 3 remaining first encounters 😅. I wondered whether to have it with the sake set or with my usual glass, but since it was before 19:00, I decided to have it with a glass 😋🥳. The 7th type. The aroma was not fruity, but had the umami of rice that you get with Junmai and Tokubetsu Junmai 😃. Slightly dry on the palate, with a slight sourness and bitterness 😄. Chigasaki Chirori: 20240709

Special Junmai Sake Kappa⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rice polishing ratio 60%, ALC 15 Sake degree +10 This is the sixth sake of the day. The aroma is subtle, foreshadowing the deliciousness of rice, and when you take a sip, it seems to assert that it is a dry sake, followed immediately by bitterness and sourness. As a personal preference, I gave it 3 stars in comparison to Tomikyucho Shinbashi no Otoko-tachi no Sake, which I had before this sake😅. Chigasaki Chirori: 20240709

Fukucho Dry Junmai Sake for men in Shinbashi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Polishing ratio koji rice 60% kake rice 65 (Some of the rice is polished by Shin Gin [flattened rice]) ALC 15 degrees This is the fifth kind of sake today. It does not have much aroma, and when you put it in your mouth, it is slightly dry. When you roll it around in your mouth, the umami, acidity, and bitterness spread in good balance, and it is a sake with a taste that you will not get tired of drinking. Chigasaki Chirori: 20240709

Kuninocho Frog Label ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Junmai Ginjyo Nama-zake Polishing ratio 60%, ALC 16%. This is the fourth type of sake today. The label might make you imagine a playful taste, but it is a rather heavy (sitting) sake with a rice aroma, slight stimulation on the tongue when you put it in your mouth, a little dryness, sourness and bitterness spreading out. Haneya ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Summer Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu Polishing ratio 60%, ALC 14%. The second kind today. It has a faintly fruity aroma. In the mouth, it is smooth and slightly sweet, followed by a soft spread of acidity, making it a crisp sake. It may be perfect as a summer sake with edamame or chilled tofu as a side dish. Dragonfly Special Junmai-shu⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Polishing ratio 60%, ALC 14%. First visit to a familiar izakaya in about 3 weeks🤗! I wonder how many new encounters I will have today 🧐🥳😘. Tonight's snacks are also assorted sashimi😘. It was bonito, willow octopus, seared Spanish mackerel, white sea bream and mahata. First of all, the first kind. It tasted like a sweet white wine. Junmai Nama Shuzake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Itsumi Shuzo (manufacturer of Shinryo) Polishing 60% 15 On our first encounter, 20200117, the label was black letters on a white background, but this purchase had dark blue letters on a white background. It may be the same sake with a new label, but I registered it as new just to be sure. The aroma is fruity even though it is pure rice. In the mouth, you can taste the umami and dry flavor of rice, followed by a well-balanced spread of bitterness and acidity 🥳. Goen Kimoto Junmai Nama Nama Sake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% Yumeshizuku from terraced rice paddies in Kashima, Saga, Japan, Polishing ratio 75%, ALC 14%, Sake degree +1.5 It is a junmai sake with a subtle aroma and a soft taste with a slight stimulation on the tongue. Junmai-shu - No Carbon - Nama-fume ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% Miyamanishiki produced in Yamagata Prefecture Polishing ratio 50%, ALC 16 Sake degree +5, Acidity 1.5 No carbon means no carbon (active carbon powder?) filtration. The aroma is modest, but the taste is fruity. The aroma is subdued, but fruity 🤗. When you put it in your mouth, there is a slight stimulation on your tongue, and you can tell immediately that it is dry, and you can feel the umami of the rice. For my personal taste, this sake may not be a good match for pizza. It was like having a pizza with lots of vegetables with a full-bodied red wine. Samukawa Ten no Uo: 20240627

Junmai Ginjo ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% Gohyakumangoku from Nasu Polishing ratio 55%, ALC 15 Sake degree +4 The TV program "Burari tochuobori no tabi" (A trip along the JR East Sagami Line) introduced a restaurant near Samukawa Station near Chigasaki that serves delicious fish 🤗. Sashimi Set Meal and Sake...the best luxury for a lunchtime drink 🥰. Sashimi for the sashimi set meal: Hiramasa, seared swordfish, horse mackerel, tuna red and medium fatty tuna! I chose two types of first encounters and had the Ona first. The ginjo aroma is weak, and the taste is crisp and dry on the palate, with a sharp throat 😘. It was a perfect match with our additional order of "summer vegetable pizza with nameko miso and cheese" 😋. It tastes like a dry white wine, and both the sashimi and the pizza were delicious 🥰. Hi Jay & Nobby. The owner of the restaurant we visited told us that it was opened in 2013 at the south exit of Chigasaki station and moved to the front of Samukawa station 7 years ago... 🧐In 2013, before I got into sake 😅I love drinking during the day 🥰.

Junmai Daiginjo-shu Nama-zume Nakadori Akaban Omachi Kamimoroshiro⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 80% Akaban Omachi, Okayama Polishing ratio 45%, ALC 15 The seventh and last sake was "Jyushidai", which I would drink even if I had already had it. On 20220930, I had encountered [Nakadori Junmai Ginjoshu Namazume Akaban Omachi 80% Polishing ratio 50%, ALC 15 degrees] and for a moment I thought it was the same sake... but this was Junmai Daiginjo 😅. Fresh aroma, mellow in the mouth, fruity aroma like lychee, slight stimulation on the tongue from the raw sake, followed by a good acidity 😋. Delicious sake at the end of the meal...I'm so happy 😄! SODA CRASH⭐️⭐️ Junmai Daiginjo, 100% Miyamanishiki from Yamagata Prefecture, White malted rice, Polishing ratio 50%, ALC 19%. Tonight's sixth sake is a bit more adventurous 😅. Please drink it with carbonated water because of its high alcohol content. It was written as "Enjoy it as a highball of sake". First, I had it as it was. It has a fresh aroma, a slightly mellow taste, and a very strong lactic acid taste. It tasted like a mmmmmm 😓. I drank it with soda as recommended, but it tasted like rice shochu...so I thought it was not good enough for my taste 😥. Chigasaki Chirori: 20240621

Sae Special Junmai Namaishu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% Bizen Omachi, 60% polished rice ratio ALC 16%, Sake degree +15 or so Tonight's fifth sake was Hyakugakumon🤗. When it was poured into the glass, it was a little cloudy like an ochigara-mi 😊. Summer Junmai Junmai Sake⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Polishing ratio 70%, 15%. The fourth kind of sake tonight is drunken whale. It's a dry sake with a sharp taste in the mouth, and it was so good with bonito sashimi with grated garlic 🤗😋. I guess Tosa sake goes well with bonito 😅. Chigasaki Chirori: 20240621

Junmai Ginjo, Polishing ratio 60%, ALC 15 Tonight's third type of sake is Gizaemon. I haven't encountered it in 10 years🤗. I first encountered it in 2014 at a hotel when I was on a business trip to Mie Prefecture😊. At that time it was a junmai ginjo (60% rice polishing ratio, 15% ALC), so I decided to count today's sake as our first encounter 😘. The aroma was not so strong and the sake was refreshingly crisp and slightly dry on the palate 😋. Chigasaki Chirori: 20240621

Mitsuo Yamakawa Manufacturer: Tatenogawa Mfg. 100% ancient rice Sobei early maturing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Polishing ratio 50%, ALC 15%. The brand name is a unit name derived from the first letter of the four breweries that brew Yamagata Masamune, Tatenokawa, Toko, and Otokoyama. Today's second sake was the second sake made with Sobei Sousei, following Tatenokawa Shuzo's Junmai Daiginjo-shu Shield (2022/10/22). It has a slightly peculiar taste, perhaps due to the rice used to make it, but it has a good balance of acidity and bitterness, and the umami of the rice is unique...but when served with snacks, it mellows out and is the perfect sake for a mealtime drink🥰. The only one left is "Yamakawa Mitsuo" brewed by Otokoyama Shuzo...I can't wait to try it 🤔. Chigasaki Chirori: 20240621

Kuma-Morinokuma-san 59Takachiyo Junmai Ginjo ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% Morinokuma-san 59% flat polished rice, 16% ALC My familiar Chirori-san hasn't visited in about a month, and after counting down my fingers for the new sake I'm going to encounter, let's have it! 😅😅 First, as usual, we start with a sweet sake 😃. This is the second sake I've had with Mori no Kuma-san 🤗. The aroma is not so strong, and when you put it in your mouth, there is a slight stimulation on your tongue, and a gorgeous pineapple-like aroma escapes into your nose 😋, it is a refreshing sweet sake too! By the way, tonight's sashimi platter consisted of kinome, scallop, bonito, flower sea bream, and sea bass 😘. Chigasaki Chirori: 20240621

Koi Omachi Junmai ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hana-Kazaguruma 100% Koi omachi Polishing ratio: Koji rice 55%, Kake rice 60 ALC 15 degrees Although it is pure rice, the aroma is somewhat fruity...but it is different from the fruity ginjo aroma, and there is a slight aroma that I have not experienced before😅. When you take a sip, you can feel the umami of rice, and the well-balanced acidity and bitterness (astringency) spreads, and it is a slightly dry, crisp and delicious sake!
