Retro Namahashi, unfiltered sake: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Undescribed type of sake (Junmai-shu?) Rice used: Omachi 80%, Yamada-Nishiki 20%, Polishing ratio Yamada-Nishiki 20%, Polishing ratio undisclosed, ALC 13%. The master of the store sent me a picture of the sake that arrived on 7/13 🥰 and among them was a Sengoku that I had never seen before😍. I couldn't go to the store for a while 😭 and finally on 7/25 I was able to make it and inquired about the availability and they said they had it 🤗I decided to go right away. Junmai Ginjo-shu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nakakumi Yamadanishiki Jungin 100% Yamadanishiki Polishing ratio 50% Hiroshima koji rice Kake rice 55% ALC 15 The ginjo aroma is only faintly perceptible, and the fruity aroma is not noticeable despite the use of Yamadanishiki. However, when you take a sip, you will notice a pineapple-like aroma along with a mild mouthfeel. After that, the acidity spreads, followed by a slight bitterness, and then the umami of the rice... Uraharushika Mutenka Mukoshi Namaishime Junmai⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Super Dry Nama Sake Polishing ratio 60%, ALC 18%. This is the last sake. Is [no-pressure pressing] the same as [sakuro-hozuri]? 🤔. This is the second kind of [裏〜] brand sake today. It was a very dry sake...but it felt soft and dry 😋. The eel skewers and small dishes were delicious, and I am glad that there is now one more restaurant in Chigasaki that also carries good sake 🥰. Chotsukara Hyakujuro "Nami" ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Junmai Ginjo Hi-ire Polishing ratio 60%, ALC 15 This is the first time I've encountered "Hyakujuro" without the usual Kumadori face and with a text label 🧐😍. It has a subtle ginjo aroma and is dry on the palate, but refreshing and clean. This sake went well with zucchini & cheese skewers 🤗🥰. Urasibotan Junmai Namaishu Summer Limited ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Polishing ratio 70%, ALC 16-17 degrees Yesterday was the Yokohama SAKE festival, so it was a consecutive 😓 day. However, I must try to prevent summer fatigue with eel skewers and small dishes and blow off yesterday's fatigue 🤗. Many of the [裏〜] brand sake labels are turned inside out when reflected in a mirror, so the labels are properly readable. There will be one more brand-name sake to be released later 🤗. KZero Original Sake High-temperature Yamahai brewing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Polishing ratio undisclosed ALC 18 Kidoizumi Shuzo Izumi City, Chiba Prefecture The last sake we chose today was from Kidoizumi Shuzo. The 18th type of sake at the Yokohama Sake Festival The last sake I chose was slightly sweet... I really wanted to finish with a dry one 😅. But it was a very unique sake with high alcohol content, acidity and sharpness, so I was able to enjoy the last sake of the festival 🤗. But still, we drank a lot 🥰. Narumi Junmai Ginjo YK555 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% Omachi from Okayama Prefecture Nama yeast strain, Rice polishing ratio 55 ALC 13 degrees, Yeast No.5 The 16th sake we chose for the Yokohama Sake Festival was a light nigori sake from Chiba Prefecture🤗. It tasted like lactic acidic yogurt and had a tingling and stimulating taste on the tongue. Personally, I didn't like the taste, so I gave it 3 stars 😅. As expected, I couldn't read the brewer's name, Nabedana (鍋店)😅 without asking the store owner. The 15th kind of sake at Yokohama Sake Fest! The 14th kind of Yokohama Sake Festival Compared to the one before it, Haruyingtsuyu, it is made from the same Yamadanishiki produced in Yamanashi Prefecture, but it is a slightly dry sake with a nice aroma and a mellow taste 😘😋.
