メガネ専用富久長 Megane Senyou Fukucho 精米歩合 不明 アルコール 15% Seimaibuai Undisclosed Alcohol 15% Tangy whey flavor. A little tingling effervescence while sipping but no bubbles in the Choko. Secondary flavor is a little bitter, in a good way. Finish is a bit alcohol heavy, but this mellows out with the second or third choko. Pretty good with まぐろ叩き丼 but really good with バームクーヘン with whipped cream and strawberries. 2025/12/14

天明 [中取り零号] Tenmei [Nakadori Zero-gou] 無濾過 生酒 おりがらみ純米 うす濁り 精米歩合 77% アルコール 14.5 使用米 瑞穂黄金 Inherently A little sweet, so it pairs well with savory foods like Parmesan cheese and peppery roast pork. Not as good with sweet things like chocolate or 栗金時. (Maybe the sweetness is 蛇足. Ha ha, Happy new year!) 永久の輝 古酒 1993 岡山ヴィンテージ Eikyuu no Kagayaki Koshu 1993 Okayama Vintage well-cured Sake 精米歩合 不明 アルコール 18% Seimaibuai undisclosed Alcohol 18% Room temperature 22°C Smells like dried shiitake Wow! First sip hits with waves of flavors… Soy sauce Chocolate Caramel Butterscotch Coffee Reminds me of Sherry but even better! Dominated the flavor of 帆立刺身 Possibly too strong for マグロ、シャケ あん肝 味付け玉といくら paired better with this full flavored sake. Definitely approach this sake like a Sherry or Port.

Faint greenish hue Overall The flavor is delicious. We love Kuheiji, so we are biased. The initial flavor had a sudden Koji / yeasty flavor but the flavor mellowed in subsequent sips with a lip-smacking umami richness. This Kuheiji develops some citrus flavors as it approached room temperature

All around good sake with food, paired well with maguro nigiri, salmon nigiri but was even better with シシもフライ , garlicky おつまみエンドウ豆, and しそ梅干し.

Alcohol 15 Seimaibuai 50% Alcohol 15 The first sip reminds one of a mild fruitiness like banana or melon. The sweetness of koji goes well with white rice. Sushi, onigiri, chazuke (rice with green tea), etc. would be good. Thick mouth feel, really sticks to your teeth & tongue Flavor is like melon or unripe banana. Rather sweet as we approach the bottom of the bottle. Goes well with fresh peach slices and Nagano Purple grapes. Purchased @ Otaru Takano on 2025/09/18

Sake degree +5 Seimaibuai 70% Alcohol 14 Nihonshudo +5 It has been a long time since I have had this sake, but it is as stable as if I had returned to my old home. It goes well with cream cheese with bonito flakes on it. Dry, with crisp tangy grassy finish and a bit of an alcohol flavored punch.
