The acidity is very clear. It is quite thirst-quenching. Oh, but it's unfiltered raw sake, so it's not so light. It is a little dry and a little rich. The aroma is faintly classic. I visited the tasting and sale after winning the IWC2024, but they didn't have the award-winning sake, so I got this one from among the several I tried.

It is quite thick and robust, with umami, sweetness, and a slight acidity. It is a quintessential unfiltered raw sake. It may be a little heavy for those who like a refreshing water type sake. The label on the back says "Oh, Delicious apple! on the back label, but it is more like an apple pie with lots of butter than a fresh apple. It's just an image, not a taste, so please don't misunderstand me. It tastes and tastes like a dessert wine, and I think it has a strong personality to be used as a food wine. I'm going to work 4 days in a row from tomorrow, and I'm going to do my best while everyone is celebrating the holidays....

I bought this sake last summer in Katsuura, Wakayama. It was pale yellow with a faint aroma. The mouthfeel was light and refreshing, with a slight sourness. It had a somewhat classic aroma, but the lack of clutter typical of junmai ginjo-style sake makes it possible even for those who like modern sake. It is a fire-brewed sake and can be found in supermarkets, so I kept it on the shelf at room temperature, but I wonder if the taste would have been different without this extremely hot summer.... It was not cooled down very well, so I had it on the rocks from the middle of the bottle.

Sweet and tasty, slightly acidic. Umaiyami! The bitterness gives it a nice finish. I bought a bottle of this when I saw it at Asano Sake Brewery when they were having a Kameizumi fair. I bought it when I saw it in the neighborhood. Delicious, delicious. I wish I could go back to Kisokoma after 2 years....

One of the Nabeshima bottles I bought in Beppu. It is mellow and slightly gassy. It has a very sharp throat and a strong alcohol taste. The special junmai that I have seen recently has a light green label, but this time it was white. When I visited Hizen Hamajuku the other day, I found only one bottle of Summer Moon, a bottle of Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki, and a bottle of Special Junmai at a store near the brewery. Well, Nabeshima, it is delicious. I wanted to buy a bottle to take home.

Junmai Ginjo Y.S. Again, last year's first check-in at Sakegawa was this sake. Shortly after the news that Manyo Sei from the same brewery won the highest platinum award at the Australian Sake Awards 2024, I went to visit them at Hankyu Umeda and bought this sake. The 2022 is the same, but this time it is an unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. According to the story, it is not sold at the brewery, but only at department stores. It has a light and refreshing aroma, a light texture, and a refreshing acidity and umami flavor. There is nothing outstandingly delicious about this sake, but when you drink it, you will definitely think, "Ah, this is delicious. It is a very good sake. Manyo Sei is expensive, so I couldn't ask him to let me drink it (laugh).

Arabesque after all these years. I got it from the refrigerated shelf of the supermarket at a reduced price. The acidity is refreshing. It also has a thick and rich flavor, but I wonder if that's because it's been around for a while or if it's just the way it was.... Either way, from the taste, it is a perfect summer sake! It is a delicious sake. It's even good on the rocks. It's a shame that this one has been on the shelves since winter and is now going down in price. While I'm grateful to be able to buy it, I can't help but worry about an industry where good things don't sell.

The sake shop said that this is fire-brewed sake that arrives at room temperature, but it says it needs to be kept cold.

This is a delicious sake that I bought when I visited Fushimi around the beginning of the New Year. The good aroma came as soon as the bottle was opened, and it was pushed to the edge of the ring by the furious push of richness, flavor, and acidity, and finally tossed aside by a hint of spiciness. It is such a delicious sake that you can add ice when it gets lukewarm. I had a set of 18 different types at Fushimizu Sake Brewery Alley, and one of the 3 sets of nama-zake was better than any of them. If you find it in a store of Aburicho in Fushimi, you have no choice but to buy it.

After drinking so much yesterday, we are opening the house inventory today. It is a fire-brewed sake, which is rare in the Houjun Mukashi series. Unlike the various types of nama-shu, it is a bit more mature, or rather, less assertive. It is fruity and acidic, with not so strong sweetness and bitterness, and it is grapefruit-like in the way it finishes with bitterness. The fruitiness is not as strong as in the raw sake, and it is refreshing. It's hard to narrow down the list because the Houjun Mukashi Hiragana series and the 59 series focusing on sake rice are also coming out, but they are both delicious, so I think there will be a repeat. Takachiyo banzai!
