I would have liked to visit Saijo for the fifth time, but Kamerei Shuzo was closed that day, so I went to Okada Sake Brewery along the Sake Brewery Street and had a cold brewed sake at room temperature, the only one available among the brands for a small drink. I was told that there are only a few stores in western Japan that carry Kamerei sake, because of the care that Shinshu Kamerei takes in their sake. It was a classic, refreshing sake. I could only get the impression that it was just like this, and I thought that if I had another chance, I would definitely come when the brewery was open. The glass was properly Kamerei. More importantly, Okada Sake Brewery. With turntables, neon signs, Showa-era movie posters, and a large-screen LCD TV overhead, it was more like a bar than a liquor store. It was not a place to relax and enjoy local sake. They served us a cup of wasabi beans.
