I had never had either Eikofuji or Sake Mirai and saw a bottle at Mekada and bought it. No wonder they are so popular. It has a fruity melon-like aroma and a sweet-tart taste. It is a dangerous sake that is easily consumed.
I bought it without hesitation because it was still in Awaya's case. The rich sweetness was just like Genmai, and the sourness came later and was wonderful. Personally, I prefer the mellowness of Miyamanishiki, which gives a sense of maturity.
I saw it at a distributor in Saitama City and bought a bottle. The aroma and acidity were not spectacular, but it had a calm and peaceful flavor. Above all, it is easy to drink like clear water. Perfect with sushi and fish.
I enjoyed a Haneya I once had at an izakaya in Mito, so I bought it at Hasegawa in Tokyo Station. It has a mild ginjo aroma, umami, and sweetness, and is gorgeous and gentle to drink. The acidity is restrained.
During my trip to Karuizawa, I took a short trip to Ueda to visit Okazaki Sake Brewery.
Yanagimachi is a nice place with an emotional townscape.
I bought Hitogokochi and Yumemizuho from Noto. Shinshu Kamerei, which I tasted for the first time, has a slight gasiness, citrus acidity, and sweetness. I am glad I was able to get two bottles with the help of my wife, as we are limited to one bottle per person. I will visit Ueda again because Levain's bread and Hishiya's miso are both excellent.
Good evening, 87maru 🌃😀😀
Congratulations on your 100 check-in 🎉🎊㊗️Kiri number and good Shinshu Kamerei 😍I'm also staying in Ueda on a business trip😇I'd like to live permanently near the brewery 🥳.
87Maru-san㊗️100Congratulations on your CI🎊Your trip to Karuizawa sounds great~🏔️You also got two types of Shinshu Kamerei, which makes me feel better even though it's extremely hot 😉 The limited edition brewery letters are dazzling🤩.
This is the first time I purchased Genmai for home drinking. It has a fruity aroma and a modest acidity, but the taste is impressive with a rich sweetness and umami. This is delicious.
Purchased because the purple color on the label looked delicious. The balance of jam-like fruitiness and acidity is wonderful. The sake is also very good. At Matsuzaki
This is my first time drinking Comet sake. Fruity and slightly effervescent with a pleasant fizz. The pineapple feeling is like a hana-yoku, and the cosiness is great. At Mr. Mekada.
This is delicious! Calpis soda for adults. Great rice flavor, citrusy and refreshing. I'm glad I looked online to see how to open the bottle. It takes 10 minutes for the bubbles to settle. At Mr. Mekada's.
The sweet and acidic flavor of Shinsei. The flavor profile and body are well defined despite the low alcohol content. I wanted to try it heated as the label says. At Mekada
I finally bought Tanaka Rokugo, which I have always been curious about. There is an atmosphere from the label. The fruity aroma, acidity, spiciness, sweetness, and umami are well balanced. It is indeed delicious. At GINZAI MADEYA.
On a business trip to Niigata, I stopped by my usual Nishikiya Sake Shop and purchased this bottle. I bought this bottle because it is a typical Niigata sake. It has a mild, not too modern, heady aroma, a delicious rice flavor, and a crisp mouthfeel. It was a delicious Natsuko sake, though not too strong in character.
I had never had Banshu Issen because of its dry and classical image, but I bought a bottle with a summery label. It has a great balance of pear flavor, fresh effervescence and sharpness. At Mekada-san
The combination of the piquant gasiness and malic acidity makes this sake perfect for summer. I think it has a deeper sweetness and flavor than Kukai. At Matsuzaki's
Perfect for this time of year for a crisp drink. Citrusy taste like lemon and apple and easy to drink at 14°C. Good with both Western and Japanese food. A bottle can be drunk over several days and is delicious all the way through. At Mr. Mekada's
