2025.09.10 Rovakanikai Azumatsuru Junmai Ginjo Nama Movin' 東鶴純米吟醸生 MOVIN' Azumatsuru's sake is known for its clean flavor, and this one is no different. It's different from the Yamatanishiki I drank before. It has a charm that finishes off the rice flavor that I don't like.

2025.09.10 Robatanikai Haneya Junmai Kinjo Hiyaoroshi 羽根屋 純米吟醸 ひやおろし I got a glass from a regular at the next table and drank it. It had a unique spicy aftertaste. Oh, and Hyaoroshi is simply a limited sake that was released in the fall.

2025.09.10 Robatanikai Zaku Impression H Junmai Genshu 作インプレッションH 純米原酒 A clean and refreshing sake with a dominant green grape flavor. Since it's a genshu, it does have a rice-based aroma and taste in the finish. Overall, though, it's a modern version of Amaguchi.

2025.08.27 Kang, Seokjong Kinoene junmai ginjo hanayaka takumi no kaori 甲子 純米吟醸 華やか匠の香り Twice in one day, a sake that doesn't have any flavors I don't like! It's less sweet and more refreshing than fresh sake. Rich fruity flavor, slightly carbonated, and finally a gentle sweetness.

2025.08.25 Miyabi Hanare Aramasa Cosmos 新政 コスモス 2024 Yuuki-san suddenly announced that she had gotten a bottle on her trip to Japan and shared a little bit with all the guests. Ah, Aramasa. It was a small amount, but so bright and clean. Still my favorite sake.

2025.08.25 Miyabi Hanare Yamamoto Tensugi 山本天杉 I was looking at the menu and saw that it was from Akita, so I ordered it. The modern sake is definitely not Akita! The first impression is that it tastes strangely traditional, but as you go back, it becomes more modern. It feels like a well-made sake. The finish is high.

The Natsumeku is interesting because it tastes like a normal karaguchi with a hint of peppery spiciness, while the Hyaoroshi has a strong alcoholic flavor at first, but it has a floral scent. Natsumeku is more balanced, while Hyaoroshi is less organized.

단칸(을지로) 아베 준마이 あべ 純米 지콘과 닮았다는 첫인상. 아주 깔끔의 극치다. 지콘처럼 칼에 베일 것 같은 느낌이라기 보다는 맑은 계곡물 같은 느낌이랄까. 다섯 번째 잔으로 한 잔 더. 오늘 마신 니혼슈들이 전부 좋았는데, 그 중에서 가장 강한 인상을 받은 아베를 한 잔 더 마셨다. 그랬더니 아무런 맛도 느껴지지 않았다. 역시 다섯 잔 정도 되면 혀가 마비되는 건가.

단칸(을지로) 니토 준마이다이긴조 아이야마 욘쥬하치 二兎 純米大吟醸 愛山 四十八 예전에 니토를 마셔봤을 때 깔끔하다는 기억이 있었는데, 쌀이 아이야마라고 해서 선택. 화사함이 느껴지는데 전반적으로 조용한 술이라는 느낌이다. 깔끔함과는 다른 느낌으로의 조용함. 좋은 의미다.

로바타니카이(구의동) 니혼슈는 와인트립님 협찬 아키 aki 추성훈 사케라고 출시된 아키. 일본에는 출시하지 않은 걸로 알고 있다. 준마이다이긴조급인 듯. 상쾌한 향과 깔끔한 뒷맛. 딱 한국인이 좋아할 것 같은 특징들을 가지고 있는 니혼슈. 퀄리티가 괜찮긴 한데, 가격을 듣고는 갸우뚱. 그 가격이면 대안이 많을 듯. 사실 양조장은 알려지지 않았는데 ‘이와테현의 300년이 넘은, 젤 오래된 양조장’이라는 보도자료가 있는 걸로 봐서 아주마미네 吾妻嶺酒造店 가 아닐까? 하는 짐작.

로바카니카이(구의동) 니혼슈는 마르 협찬 하나아비 더 프리미엄 준마이다이긴조 미가키욘와리 야마타니시키 무료카나마자케 花陽浴 〔THE PREMIUM〕 純米大吟醸 磨き四割 ≪山田錦≫ 無濾過生原酒 이것도 아주 복잡도가 뛰어난 니혼슈였는데 그 직관적인 화사함과 강렬한 인상이 나에게는 좀 부담스러웠다. 굳이 어설픈 비유를 해보자면 쥬욘다이가 청량한 팝락 같고 하나아비는 귀에 착 감기는 트로트 같달까.

로바타니카이(구의동) 니혼슈는 마르 협찬 쥬욘다이 나카도리 준마이다이긴조 반슈아이야마 카미모로하쿠 十四代 中取り 純米大吟醸 播州愛山 上諸白 드디어 쥬욘다이를 마셔봤다. 그동안 마셔본 니혼슈들 중 아라마사와 함께 공동 1위 등극! 아니 이렇게 깔끔하면서 화사하고 밸런스도 잡혀있고 기분마저 좋게 만드는 니혼슈가 존재하는구나. 아이야마에서 오는 화사함과 쥬욘다이의 깔끔함이 만난 걸까. 아주 좋았다!
