【Day 2 Surprise Hit👻】 Though part of the rare Tenshu Jun Daiginjo series, Kaimei Shinko is new this year🆕 It has that quintessential Tashu apple aroma 🍎 with a slight effervescence. On the first day after opening, it felt a bit rigid, with the crispness dominating and not much depth emerging. But on the second day, it truly came into its own 💪 While still crisp, it blossomed fully 🌼 with a gentle sweetness and complex umami. This is truly exceptional 😋 The label with its vivid blue color is also lovely 🩵

[Whether it's Christmas 🎄 or New Year's 🎍. Comet 100% Chiebijin active nigori. Very fruity aroma with a hint of sweetness🥭. The alcohol content is low for an active type, and the moderate sweetness makes it very easy to drink. This is a bad boy who can gobble it up 😁. I'm looking for something like this in an active nigori, so I'd say it's a perfect score 👍 My father and I drank it all in no time at my parents' house when I went home. This time I paired it with Osechi on New Year's Day, but I think it would work well as a champagne substitute at Christmas.

[From the first shot of the New Year, I'm sure you'll be ranked this year😲]. Purchased some expensive sake to drink with my father at my parents' house 😄. I can't help but drool even before drinking it 🤤. The top aroma is slightly citrusy, with an elegant sweetness and a round, deep umami that fills the mouth. The aftertaste has a slightly smoky astringency with a sense of maturity and a hint of rum raisin-like aroma that leaves a lasting impression that I love 🤩🤩🤩🤩. As expected of a venerable bottle that has been adopted by the government machine ✈️👍👍 The new sake I had at the end of the year was also very good, so I'll focus on buying Bon for a while 😁.

Sweet and fragrant muscatel Hououmida's standard new sake with a little lees involved😄. The moment the bottle is opened, a sweet aroma like Muscat-flavored Calpis spreads. There is almost no sense of effervescence, but the impression is very fresh, as is typical of new sake, and when drunk, it has a refreshing sweetness like lychee 😊. The sweetness disappears softly and goes down the throat without resistance, also lychee-like 👍. I think most of the sake I enjoy these days is Gohyakumangoku 😁.

Nakano Sake Yamerutte yo 😭 Nama Sake Drinking Comparison 2 I'm really sad that I won't be able to drink this bottle anymore 😢. I drank it for the first time in 2022 and was blown away by how good it tasted, and since then it has always been at the top of my list 🥇. I bought it 3 times before it was sold out, but this is the first time I drank 3 bottles of the same bottle in one season 😂. I no longer have anything to say about it as I've reviewed it all in the past. Just thankful to have found such a great sake🙏.

Nakano Nihon Sake Yamerutte yo 😭 Nama Sake Drinking Comparison (1) My favorite liquor store still had two types of Chokyu nama-zake, so I opened them at the same time and compared them. First we started with the regular Jungin Nama Sake: ✌️ I hadn't had this bottle in a while: ☺️ The aroma is mild minty 🌿. It has a sweetness but a sharp finish compared to the other bottle, Bizen Omachi, and the sharpness is noticeable when compared to the other bottle. It has a sharp aftertaste compared to the other bottle, Bizen Oumachi, which has a more pronounced sharpness. Are you sure you won't be able to drink it anymore? 😱😱😱.

[BORN TO BE WONDERFUL👍] Bon new sake light nigori❄ Very refreshing green apple🍏 type of top nose. The freshness of the freshly squeezed sake is fully expressed and the sake quality is full of transparency without any cloying taste 😊. It has a wonderful and surprisingly delicious 💓💓 with just a hint of elegant sweetness and a rounded flavor that is not too light. At the end of the year 2025, I found a bottle that definitely ranks as one of the year's best 🤩. I'm sure Gohyakumangoku is great 😙.

[Crazy Milk 🥛] Strong style nigori sake with high alcohol content and high lees content. This is a doburoku sour with strong carbonated water 👍. I have tried it in various ways, but the best balance for me is to make it with 3 parts doburoku and 1 part soda water. It's like a smoothie, and you can drink it with gusto, but it has a reasonably high alcohol content when mixed this way, so it's a very dangerous drink if you're not careful. ⚠️ It's insanely delicious, but it's just crazy milk🤣🤣.

[Tundere new sake]. The label is rather stiff, but the top aroma is gorgeous pineapple and the taste is juicy modern sake 🌈. It is light, but the sweetness and flavor are both reasonably robust, making it very drinkable. This was my first time to buy Kagamiyama, but it had a good balance of drinkability and punch, so I will buy the different labels again 😊.

I'm a selfish body, autumn is coming. A limited edition purchased on a trip to Niigata. I decided to buy it as soon as I saw that it is atonal draft sake stored at low temperature for half a year✌. The fruity tropical aroma and slight bubbles make it easy to drink from the first sip, and the juicy, bold flavor is clear. It is full-bodied, sweet and delicious, so it was great with meat, croquettes, and other hearty foods😋.

Bought Alchemist for the first time in 5 years: ❗️ It seems like the reviews from 5 years ago made it seem pretty sweet, but my first impression this time was "surprisingly dry for a very fruity top note 😊" It has a bubbly taste, and if it were sweeter, it would have been more like the "Eikofuji Unfiltered Nama Sake Series", but I like the moderate sweetness of this one because it has more character 🥰. After a few days, the sweetness increases instead of losing the fizziness, so I could enjoy the change and be very satisfied 😆😆. As expected of a sake that claims to be the "pinnacle of the unfiltered nama sake series", it showed me the difference in quality 😁.

I'll always be looking for you. I was informed by ma-ki that the bottle of Chokyu Bizen Omachi Nama Sake was sold out, but there was still a bottle left at the sake shop😍. It's right in the middle of my favorites and I can't say enough about this perfect bottle 🥰. I will keep my fingers crossed that it will be available again next year 🙏.

New Challenge of the Tada Sake Brewery (2) Following monochrome, here is a high color 👔 led by a brewer in his 30s. The top aroma here is also fruity, with a slight citrus 🍋 aroma. It is even lighter than monochrome with low alcohol content, and can be drunk easily without any resistance. Personally, I would have liked to taste a little more spiciness, but I thought this sake had a distinctive character and conveyed the brewer's intentions.

New Challenge of the Tada Sake Brewery (1) Two bottles brewed by young brewers of Nishida Sake Brewery were purchased at the same time😄. This monochrome one is with one of the brewery's core brewers in their 20s 2️⃣ The top aroma is apple-like 🍎 like Tasake. The overall impression is clean and light, but the attack sweetness and spiciness on the back palate are also present, making for a great, well-balanced finish 🥰. It's amazing that even the relatively inexperienced young people in their 20's can make such a high quality sake 👍👍!

Wadaya hanpukai in 2025 (10) I somehow didn't want to open the bottle, so I let it sit for about 3 months😅. Sweet and fresh apple aroma. The sweet, fresh apple aroma, with a slightly bubbly and sweet attack that seems to have been incorporated directly into the flavor, gives way to an extended umami taste that spreads throughout the palate 🌈. At the end of the drink, there is a refreshing bitterness like grapefruit and a hint of fragrance, and it tastes gorgeous like a kaleidoscope 🏵️ I'm not a fan of many citrusy sweet and sour sake, but this is exceptionally delicious 😳. Definitely one of my personal #1 candidates this year 🤩🤩🤩.

I'm going to give you a big thump. According to the POP in the store, this is a hiyaoroshi that has been aged for two summers✌. This is the second consecutive multi-year aged bottle since Kozan, but the quality of the sake is the exact opposite 😲. This one is quite robust, with a spiciness that could be described as ultra-harsh, and a finish that stands out for its acidity. It has a mild heady aroma and is not flashy at all, but is a solid, robust, orthodox sake. I didn't feel any sense of maturity. I drank it all before trying it, but it would probably go great with grilled salt fish 🍁.

Ripe and fresh I can't stop drooling even before drinking it. It still has a slight bubbly taste even though it has been sleeping for 3 years. It has a soft sweetness with a sake degree of -6, and an acidity that seems to have been toned down after aging. It has a sweet and sour sake quality, but it is full-bodied and has a solid 17% alcohol content, so it is not light, which I don't like, and I enjoyed drinking it👍👍 A few days after opening the bottle, the slight bubbles disappear completely and it becomes sweeter and more rounded, but personally, I liked the exquisite fresh ripeness right after opening the bottle 😄. I was really lucky to come across it 😙 as I was told that the shipment was limited to 500 bottles.

Hiyayoroshi is also good👍 This is the hiyaoroshi version of my favorite Mansyuusen LE. The new sake is great, so I have high expectations even before drinking this one. ⬆️⬆️ Sweet fruity aroma. Of course, it is much milder than the new sake season, but a little chillier and fresher hiyaoroshi 🫧. Some sweetness, but a nice crisp aftertaste, clear and elegant 😊. It's not quite the same as the pithy new sake, but I think it's a perfectly balanced hiyaoroshi that doesn't miss the direction of this series 😋.

[Even though it's all in one place! 😮] Hiyoroshi from Nishinomon purchased at a sake brewery direct sales event at Shibuya Tokyu 🍁. It is a hiyaoroshi from the nama-shu (raw sake) category, with a dense melon🍈-like top-fragrance. It also has a bit of fizziness, and the dark sweetness like ripe banana🍌 combined with the spiciness of the aftertaste gives it a very punchy taste🥊. The Hitogokochi sake I've had so far all gave me the impression of being refreshing, but this one is the exact opposite, with a rich sweetness 😄. I paired it with sautéed cod with lots of butter, and it was a perfect marriage, just as I had hoped 🥰🥰🥰.

[tutti frutti🔴] Get Tosa Shiragiku's limited edition products in Tokushima on your trip👍 It has a very fruity 🥭 top aroma, like muscat, melon, lychee, I don't know what it is anymore, but it is very fruity and has a little bit of a chili feeling. It has a slight sweetness, sharp mouthfeel, and a dignified spiciness that makes it a natural dry 🥰. I have rarely had a chance to drink Tosa Shiragiku, but the ice-aged sake I got last year with my hometown tax payment was wonderful, and I'd like to actively buy it if I find it in the future 😄.
