This is the first time I've seen this warehouse. The rice used is Maikaze. As the name suggests, everything, including the yeast, is from Gunma, and it seems to be an annual event. The mouthfeel is mild. It is bitter-sweet with a slight banana aroma. It gently finishes with a hint of umami. It seems to have a lot of depth. Well-balanced and cohesive sake. I️ would like to visit Funao Falls too!

After a few drinks, it was quite late, so I headed home while eating a golden dharma bento commemorating the 140th anniversary of Takasaki Station. I will close my Gunma trip with "Akagisan" and "Funao Taki"! Sweet and sugary aroma like sugar. The taste is smooth and silky, and while it has a Gunma sake-like quality, it tastes more like a sweet sake derived from brewer's alcohol. There is nothing outstanding about it, but it is a perfect match for ekiben (boxed lunches), with its unobtrusiveness, slight sweetness, and crispness!

This is a winter-only nigori sake from Niigata's famous brewery "Chojamori". Winter General Nigori (nigori), sweet, quite thick, and very drinkable.

After returning home, I wondered what to drink and chose "Karahashi" by Homare Shuzo, which I had never had a chance to drink before! It is a junmai ginjo made from Omachi. The first sip gives the impression of sweetness with no sourness. As you continue drinking, the spiciness comes out and the trinity of sweetness, umami, and spiciness comes together, which is just the right balance and delicious. There are other sake rice varieties in the Karahashi series besides Omachi, so you have to try them 😆.

It is fruity, but you can also feel the taste of rice. The aftertaste is clean and this is drinkable.

Karahashi label by Homare Sake Brewery. Unfiltered unpasteurized sake made from sake rice Yume no Kou. Fruity ginjo aroma. The aroma of melon and sweetness, followed by a slight sourness and bitterness, finally fading away with a slight spiciness. Although it is unfiltered raw, there is no bitterness or peculiarity, and the impression is of a soft, sweet, umami taste. After a few days of drinking, the balance between sweet and spicy has improved. It is a delicious sake that is so easy to drink that it makes you want to drink more and more. ☺️

Aroma: A twang and an alcohol smell? Despite the package, it has a traditional sake feel 🍶...with 80% polished rice, it is a robust, rugged sake...full of wild flavor. You can taste the umami of the rice because of the low rice polishing. It seems to be a good marriage with "Ota Horumon". .... But I'm drinking it at home, with chicken yakiniku, meat 🍖 and other snacks....

Local sake...the package does not lie! Fresh and fruity...sweet rice aroma, sweet mouthfeel! A good bitterness in the aftertaste...a little sweet...Teimatsu is also this kind of sake...I think it's better to drink it sipping it rather than as a food sake...delicious 😋...

I went to the brewery to buy it... The fruity aroma is a far cry from the fruity aroma, but it's a manly brew, 19 degrees, rich and dry. As the alcohol content is high, you can feel the sweetness of the Omachi flavor... on the rocks... With chicken sashimi as a side dish and yuzu ponzu as a side dish, the chicken skin is sipping in yuzu ponzu...

I thought it might be limited to direct sales, but I was able to buy it at a liquor store. If you go down the shopping street near Okamachi Station, you will find an old shopping center with a supermarket in it. This is a community-based liquor store that is housed in it. They carry a wide variety of sake brands such as Yukitsuru, Asakayousei, Katanozakura, Kaygetsu, Sakura Masamune, Ootsuru, Shiraoi, Haginoduro, Shikizakura, and others. They seemed to be putting a lot of effort into craft beer and wine. The rice is Gohyakumangoku and Koshibuki. The rice is lightly cloudy to the point of being orikara. Basically, it is spicy, but the entrance is clean, and it tastes good with a firm umami and acidity in the latter half.

Purchased at Takatsuki Hankyu. To be honest, they have a smaller selection of alcoholic beverages than Umeda Hankyu, but I think their lineup is more tasteful than Umeda. Umeda relies more on on-site sales. You can also buy Kuninonaga and Kiyotsuru at Takatsuki Hankyu. Grape and banana-like atmosphere. Not too sweet and spicy, but clear and beautiful. I wrote "clear," but considering it as a dry wine, I wonder if it is a mellow dry type. I said it was spicy, but there is a moderate amount of sweetness. It is a modest type of sake, but you can't go wrong with it.

Mellow sake 🍶. Nagano Ueda Railway Journey🚃Day 3 From Ueda, take the Ueda Dentetsu Bessho Line🚃 to Bessho Onsen (Bessho Hot Springs) ♨️ Lunch at the diner that was reflected in the setting of the 18th film Otoko wa Tsuraiyo. The aroma of the food was very strong. But it is sweet and gentle, not harsh. It has just the right amount of maturity. Goes well with Nozawana. It softens the salty taste of Nozawana. The chicken gizzard and boiled pork are also delicious 😋 I'm so glad I found a hidden gem restaurant 😆. Sanyuken @ Bessho Onsen 20240907

(*´ч ` *)🍶🍶🍶🍶´- Today we got a bottle of Ichinotani, a sake from our neighbor Fukui Prefecture 😀. I bought it because of the old-fashioned, hard-core label 😚The specs are also very Chinese, 35% Yamadanishiki daiginjo😤, but the price is reasonable💰They really only have one bottle, but it seems that only the store of one of their customers has a 4-goupe bottle 👍. The aroma is mild and ginjo like 🍑😊Clear sweetness and refreshing acidity🥰The aftertaste is clean and disappears quickly😍✨It's a beautiful sake that goes down smoothly🥳It's a delicious sake😆👍✨

CWS. I've been interested in Shiro-Ko for a while, so I bought it at Edion along with the Tazake zodiac label. Low alcohol. The aroma has a strong alcohol smell. Slightly effervescent and gentle on the palate. Slightly sweet and slightly sour. Mineral taste. It disappears and disappears quickly. As it says, you can drink it forever.

The sake was made by aging sake for 238 days in wine barrels that were used to age Merlot at Shinshu Takayama Winery (Nagano Prefecture). It was an easy to drink sake with a sweet and light flavor. I opened it right away. 2530 yen.

Sake from the breweries of Chojamori and Koshino-Kanchubai. I had been interested in this sake for a long time, but I bought it because it was on special price and there was a draft. According to the Internet, the rice is Koshitanrei. I've seen the hi-ire version but only at Ito-Yokado 🤔. I heard it was developed in collaboration with Takaoka National College of Technology, and the 888th sake out of 1200 test brews was so good that they decided to commercialize it. Sourness like wine. It has sweetness but it's not like sake. As the description says, I would like to match it with meat and cheese.

Immediately after opening the bottle, it was dry and dry, perhaps due to the 17% alcohol content. Then, after leaving it in the refrigerator for about 5 days due to a business trip, the taste changed drastically! There is almost no aroma, but it has turned into a crisp, sweet and delicious sake. There are not many sakes that have changed in taste like this.

I drank it last year and enjoyed it so much I bought it again. Personally, it is my favorite new sake along with "Akagisan"✨. When you open the bottle and pour it, the aroma is crisp and gorgeous, like pears. The mouthfeel is light and immediately afterwards there is a solid gassy feeling. It's as shwashy as a carbonated beverage! Dry and clean on the palate, with pear and green apple flavors that are gorgeous and fresh. There is a hint of sweetness, so it is not only dry, but also well balanced. The astringent taste comes in the last half of the bottle and finishes it all off, so it is a delicious wine with a perfect ending! The sun is setting later and later, and we can feel the approach of spring. It's still early, but I'm looking forward to this year's spring sakes!
