Dry Chou 🥸.
The second all-you-can-drink drink is here. It's called "dry" and it's quite dry 😳. Sharp and sharp ✨. It may be a little alcoholic. Paired with tofu and mushrooms as a side dish.
The label is cute 💕I looked it up and it was famous in Niigata 30+ years ago in a TV commercial 😆.

Rare sake rice "Kame-no-o" is used. This is Chosan's Kame-no-o from the Junmai Daiginjo series. It is a difference of rice. 17 degrees Celsius is firm, but the umami and bitterness that is typical of namaeshu are clearly understood, and it is fresh. It is just delicious!
You can tell the difference in the rice in this series by the bottle that Chosan's character is holding.
The last one was Niigata sake.
I have had N-888 from the same brewery, but unlike N-888, this was a light and dry Niigata-style sake.
It was a great sake to go with snacks.
It's sweet, but it's spicy, 17 degrees. It is spicy but a bit rich and fruity. If you expect a sweet sake, it might be different. It is a good sake for those who know the Chosan series. It is hot, sweet, and moderate. It is delicious.
17% alcohol by volume. It is dry, rich, and full of flavor. 17% alcohol by volume, so it is dry, but the inside is very fruity. It is a dry sake, but it has a fruity taste inside. It is a rich type that will please those who like dry sake. Personally, I like this type of dry, thick sake very much. It tastes similar to the Tsururei's 17 degree series!
18 degrees alcohol. You would think it would be spicy from the degree, but it's sweet! It's rich and sweet. It is fruity or thick. This is the effect of direct pumping. 18 degrees is dangerous for this. A thick liquor with sweet juice. It is dangerous and delicious!
Today was Powder Day. However, I could not ski well. My mentality is weak for the real thing, and I am in full throttle.
I couldn't go home feeling like this, so I went to Nmaya (a cafe run by a ryokan) and bought a coffee rouro (a cake roll made with coffee brewed in Echigo-yuzawa hot spring), and then went to a food stall village to enjoy a hot sake and motsu-ni (a kind of stewed beef tongue). The motsu-ni was very sinking in.
I was encouraged again today by a cup of Chojamori hot sake. It's hot and warms you up gradually.
Let's do our best tomorrow.
Tomorrow is Powder Day, and it seems it will be for some time to come.
Please come to Echigo-Yuzawa to enjoy sake, hot springs, and snow sports. Sake tastes even better on a cold day.
