Continuing from last month? Okayama expedition ✈. I was tired after walking around and had a drink at the hotel 🍶. The sake was a 300ml bottle from Miyashita Sake Brewery, which was delicious in a one-cup bottle last time! The sake was from Miyashita Sake Brewery, which was delicious in one cup last time, but this time it was a 300 ml bottle! This sake is said to have won the Klamaster Award at the 2024 Sake Competition held in Paris, France, one of the largest sake competitions in Europe! Maybe you can only drink it now? I'm glad I came to Okayama 🤗.

I bought this one-cup sake in Okayama Prefecture, which I passed by briefly the other day. I bought the label anyway...hmmm, this is my kind of sake😆. Easy to drink and sweet! This (180ml) is not enough... I'm going to visit there this weekend, so I'll buy a bigger size this time! I still spill a little when I open one cup 😓.

Tonight is Cat's Day, so I will be drinking a limited edition set of four cat labels from the Dewazakura Sake Brewery, and I'll be heating up the sake, so I'll be drinking plain sake. Well, the rice polishing ratio is 65%... it might be a little too much brewer's alcohol when heated lukewarm. Maybe. If you raise the temperature and heat it up, it will be a little more square and tasty 😄. Looking forward to the remaining 3 Junmai, Ginjo and Junmai Daiginjo 😁.

A sake brewery in the very local Isehara area. A sweet, fizzy, slightly low-alcohol sake with a hint of sourness. This is a very drinkable one! It's the best to heal the tiredness of the day 😺.

Kuraraya, a store where you can come to Ehime and have a corner shop. Kyo Hina was the sake that impressed me the last time I was here. This time we had 2 types of sake to compare 3 types! This dry sake stings 😁. I had Nara pickles with cream cheese and jako-ten (fish cake) for my entrée, which also stings!

I also skipped the sake wa 😓. I bought it last summer because of the label and the fact that it was a limited edition sake, but I opened it at the end of the year and it's empty today... It's almost February 22nd, so I'm going to brew it 🐱. As the label says, you can drink it all the time and never get tired of the taste, but I had a little bit of it every day 😁.

I was in Oarai, Ibaraki today, and although it's a little early, I had my first anglerfish hot pot 🍲! It's full of collagen, so I'm sure I'll be glowing tomorrow! Oarai is famous for its sake, and when you eat local snacks, you need to drink local sake. It's delicious! And the best!

Good evening ma-ki-chan, I took a day off today and decided to have ankou-nabe 🤗. I was so impressed with the ankou nabe and the zosui (rice porridge) that I wanted to have another bowl of zosui only...but I can't stomach it 😅. I hope you will try it too, ma-ki-chan!

New Year's Day is over and it's already the 9th 😅 Still in a bit of a New Year's mood, I bought this Tokugawa Ieyasu 🤔 when I visited Hananomai Sake Brewery last year. The naming is awesome! It tastes deep and dry and is the kind of sake I like to drink when I'm relaxed and at ease, perfect for drinking cold in a heated room on a cold Thursday night like this.

It is a light, easy-to-drink celebratory sake, and since it is only 180ml, I finished it in no time at all 🍶. Well, it's not a sake to drink in gulps, is it? On New Year's Eve, I had Hououmida's Ichigo for lunch, and at night I had a bottle of sake🍶 that I purchased at a sake brewery during a trip to Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture in September. I thought it would be a good last sake of the year, so I opened it today! I think I let it sit a little too long😅. It's light and dry, perfect for a leisurely drink on a night like this 😄. I haven't been able to check in much this year, but I'll do it next year! To all of you who have given me a handsome smile, and to all of you who have caught a glimpse of me, I wish you a happy new year 😊.

Hououmida's Strawberry, which I suddenly want to drink every year. Sake based with a taste different from other strawberry sake I'm glad I had it again this year! At least it's a lunchtime drink on New Year's Eve! At night, we will have the last sake of the year 😆. I haven't decided what I'm going to drink yet, but I have a few different kinds of sake in the fridge on standby 🤣.

I feel like it's been a while since I drank a sake made from 100% Dewa Sanzu rice... Sake from Yamagata Prefecture has a fruity taste and it tastes freshly squeezed and just the way I like it 😆. It's also reasonably priced and great 🍶.

Year-end party in my hometown yesterday It was an all-you-can-drink course without local sake, but the owner of the restaurant served us sake! As expected of Tasake (rice wine), it was really fruity and I could drink as many glasses as I wanted! Paired with oysters, it was the best ✨.

I bought this sake at a liquor store in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, in late September. I heard that "Arima" has something to do with Arima, the Arima Kinen, and it seemed to be limited edition, so I bought it immediately! Fruity and dry sake ❗️ is the best. I mean, I posted the day I drank it today, but it was an open day! My favorite sake 🤗. I really like the sake I encounter on my travels 😄.

At the end of last month, I was at a liquor store in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture (probably a famous store) and asked the store's brother what sake he recommended and for some reason he recommended this sake from Niigata Prefecture 😁. But it was recommended to me because it is a delicious autumn sake with a hint of sweetness😄. Thank you for recommending this delicious sake to me ❗️

My favorite Tsururei, which I bought in Niigata in the summer, finally emptied today... The description says that it is delicious, mellow, and smooth, and that it was brewed with the utmost care using 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Tojo with the skills of the toji (master brewer) and kurabito (master brewer) combined!

Today, when I visited Kurume on a trip, the 22nd Kurume Yakitori Japan's Best Festa was being held, and there was a corner of Fukuoka Prefecture's sake, so I went there quietly! The lady recommended a dry sake that was said to be only available in Fukuoka! It was indeed crisp and delicious, and I wondered if she knew what kind of sake I liked. I even wondered if she knew what kind of sake I liked! If I find it at a liquor store, I will definitely buy it as a souvenir for myself! PS...I asked the lady about it and she told me that it is only available at IZUMIYA sake shop in Kurume!
