Bought it for a moment with Rusty Cat Rock. Also got Funaguchi Smoked incense! It has a strong alcohol taste, but it has a sweetness with a tangy flavor and a spiciness that is very strong. Much tastier than I expected.

Niigata Souvenirs Part 2 The last one was a gift from Kimi no Ii, along with the Yukinaka Ume. Seasonal summer sake ☀️ It was hot yesterday, so I chilled it to the perfect temperature before serving. I used only ayu (sweetfish) for this dish. I also served bonito and Spanish mackerel tataki with a lot of myoga. It has a slightly high alcohol content and sweetness for a Niigata sake, so it went well with the ayu fish, bonito and Spanish mackerel. It was a good evening drink.

At home. This is the first time I've had sake from Hokkaido. I thought that Hokkaido's sake was more alcoholic, but it was completely different. A Drink to Remember Series (5) In the early summer of 2015, I planned to take my car on a ferry to Wakkanai, Hokkaido, and when I arrived safely in Wakkanai, I had a drink at a yakitori restaurant for the first time in my life 🍶. With amazake, of course. It is a gorgeous spring-like sake with a more mellow sweet taste. On Saturday, we went from Tateshina to the Ueda Castle beyond the ski resort. It was already starting to change colors. The parking lot was full. We had lunch at a buckwheat noodle restaurant in Sakaki Town on the way to Chikuma. We never had a bad experience at any soba restaurant.

Hayaseura Special Junmai Sake "Umi-no-Otoko This is an old sake that has been stored in the brewery for 3 years and was served warmed 😁. I've been wanting to try some nigori sake lately 😆. I saw it in the store yesterday, went to buy it today, and was supposed to open it tomorrow... but I couldn't wait, so I opened it today and drank it 😅! There are many nigorizakes out there, but this one is Junmai! It has a nice crackle and a nice "umami and gentle sweetness" of the rice 😻🎉. Originally I was thinking of the 3x Domu from the same brewery, but I was so taken with the Junmai that I decided to go with this one. I'm not sure if I'd be able to do that, but I'm sure I'd be able to do it.
