#Sake brewery sweets A beautiful white fluffy cake with plenty of original sake Kashiwamori. It is quite sweet and would go well with ginjo sake. It would be delicious with sakekasu sauce, amazake sauce, or fruit! Purchased at the beginning of June, it looks like it will last until the end of July. It would make a great souvenir for sake lovers & those with a sweet tooth. Note that it is not individually wrapped and must be cut.

This is Kashiwamori, an original sake from Katayama Shuzo, which I bought on a trip to Nikko. Slightly dry. It has the rich taste and aroma of original sake. I also recommend the "Sake Long Cake" filled with this sake 😀 I have had many different sake cakes, but this one, by all means, should be paired with sake. You will not regret buying it.

Chiba's local sake 🍶 I had bought it in early spring touring 🏍️... forgot about it... I was thinking of a traditional mellow dry taste... .... I forgot about it...I thought it was a hybrid of old-fashioned and modern...not much aroma...the mouthfeel has the old-fashioned mellow, mellow, umami taste.... Shizuku-tori sake from my humble favorite, Ikumidoi-san. The aroma is gently fruity. It is berry-like with acidity. The mouthfeel is gentle, but the volume expands with both sweetness and dryness. It has a very beautiful structure with a disappearing aftertaste. A good sake for stand-alone drinking. I think it would also work well as a heated sake, perhaps because of the image of Ikumichii 👌.

Purchased at Umeda Department Store. (Hankyu or Hanshin) One of seven breweries in Nara Prefecture that belong to the Nara Prefecture Bodai-Hashimoto Sake Research Association. See label on back. Rich, mouthfeel It is a sweet type, but the far and spreading umami and bitterness It was delicious and matched well with food. It became mellow and mild when heated to lukewarm and I could enjoy it with ease 😁. I am interested in the history of sake only when I taste Bodaihashi.

This is a speial edition for distribution by Miyajima Liquor Shop, Ueda City. This sake uses Sankei-nishiki and brewed in Kimoto Method. So, I could enjoy the full-bodied but fruity taste. Really love it!

At home. Sake tasting party with friends after a long time. We brought our own sake. First up was a local sake from Echigo-Yuzawa, a gem bearing the name of the first head of the Shirataki Sake Brewery. The aroma is gorgeous, and in the mouth you can taste the acidity and umami, with a slight lingering alcohol taste. It leaves a slightly bitter or rough feeling in the back of the throat. The Shirotaki Shuzo is known for its Kouzen Nyosui, which has a fuller aroma and taste compared to the Kouzen Nyosui. The bottle was also unusual, with an innovative volume of 630 ml. This is the first brand I've seen and the taste is great. ‼️

Drinking continues at Don Chaya 🕺. We emptied the weird "Haneya", followed by another round 🍶. We chose our first brand that we could see in the cellar✨ First "Kame no Ou Junmai Ginjo Shiboritate" 🎉. Not much in the way of aroma, but a clean sweetness on the palate, with a pleasantly sharp and sweet [Kame-no-o] lingering finish! I found out later that they revived Kame-no-o and used this episode as a model for Natsuko's Sake, so in a sense, they are the pioneer of Kame-no-o 😁.
