I had never seen this brand before, so I couldn't resist buying it. This is a sake brewery in Shunan City, Yamaguchi. There are about 1,400 sake breweries in Japan, so it's no wonder that there are breweries and brands that I don't know (there are more than 1,000 here). Even if I were to drink one brand every day for the rest of my life, it would take me almost 30 years (^_^;) It's simply impossible. This was an aside. The moment you put it in your mouth, the aroma is distinctive. I wonder what it is, is it the aroma of rice? In total, the aroma is fluffy, the taste is tangy, and the sweetness is warm. I think it's delicious.

The last of the Ohigan parties was the first Kamizenjosui in a long time. I had an image of a more Showa-esque sake, but to my surprise, it really looked like water. It went well with a wide range of foods such as sashimi and Costco high rollers. In other words, it doesn't get in the way. It made me rethink my opinion a little bit. I think I need to update my taste buds by choosing something that doesn't look like a local sake sometimes.

I bought it last year as a souvenir from Utsunomiya. It's been a while since I've had "out of the gate", but my taste buds have changed since the last time I had it, so I'm looking forward to it! When you open the bottle and pour it, it smells like citrus fruits and lychee. It is tasteless on the palate, but gradually the richness and mellowness of the rice comes out. The sweetness, spiciness, and astringency of the flavor are all present as soon as the lid is opened! Although it is a junmai ginjo, it has such a robust flavor that it may be served warm. The overtone is similar to that of "Shinkame" and gives the impression of a matured sake. The lingering aftertaste is well rounded as it quickly fades away. Overall, the shades of gray are exquisite, and the taste is quite interesting! In fact, the first sake I ever drank in my life was "Monkai Fude. I was actually the first person in my life to drink sake, and that drink at Kinugawa Onsen has led me to the present day.

Snow Komachi🤗 I had never seen or heard of this sake before, but this is the first time I've had it 🤗. Lately, hiyaoroshi sake is coming out one after another 🍶. But when I see autumn leaves patterned label 🍁, I buy it 😆. Junmai Daiginjo for 1,800 yen ⁉️ is very cosy 👍🏼. I bought it by weight the day after the Hankai Train Off-line Meeting. I took this opportunity to buy it because Miyakotsuru's draft sake is rarely distributed. This is an annex of a store in Fushimi that sells all of Fushimi's sake in Nihonbashi, Osaka. I wonder if the sake brewers' association is involved? The bottles come in various sizes and labels, and you buy the bottle you want and pour it. You pour the sake yourself, but since I was right on the 300 ml mark, I received a sake cup as a "Pitari" prize. The taste is melon-like with a clean mouthfeel. The long, thin and extended acidity is impressive. It is a little light and has a sweet and spicy flavor. After about a week, the flavor seems to have opened up, or rather, the flavor profile has become more defined.

Tenma Taishukai 2024 ④ The day before, I tasted Sakakamatsu from this brewery at a liquor store in Ikuno Ward. He asked me if I was going to the Tenma Sake Festival. I've been to this brewery and bought sake before. I think it was a brewery in Osaka, but closer to Wakayama and near a fishing port. I drank Junmai Ginjo Natsusei Nemuchi-san confirmed with the brewery that it was the same Sakakamatsu Natsusei that I drank the day before. Hmmm? When I drank it the day before, I had the impression that it was a summer sake with good flavor and drinkability, but something is different... Is it the temperature range?
