Tenma Taishukai 2024 ④ The day before, I tasted Sakakamatsu from this brewery at a liquor store in Ikuno Ward. He asked me if I was going to the Tenma Sake Festival. I've been to this brewery and bought sake before. I think it was a brewery in Osaka, but closer to Wakayama and near a fishing port. I drank Junmai Ginjo Natsusei Nemuchi-san confirmed with the brewery that it was the same Sakakamatsu Natsusei that I drank the day before. Hmmm? When I drank it the day before, I had the impression that it was a summer sake with good flavor and drinkability, but something is different... Is it the temperature range? At home. Sake tasting party with friends after a long time. We brought our own sake. First up was a local sake from Echigo-Yuzawa, a gem bearing the name of the first head of the Shirataki Sake Brewery. The aroma is gorgeous, and in the mouth you can taste the acidity and umami, with a slight lingering alcohol taste. It leaves a slightly bitter or rough feeling in the back of the throat. The Shirotaki Shuzo is known for its Kouzen Nyosui, which has a fuller aroma and taste compared to the Kouzen Nyosui. The bottle was also unusual, with an innovative volume of 630 ml. This is the first brand I've seen and the taste is great. ‼️

The second drink at Marukoma was my first "Koshu". It is light and crisp with a pleasant lingering aftertaste. The second sake was "Koshu", which is also from Niigata but has a different flavor from the "Hokusetsu" that we drank for the first sake 🎵.
