At home. Osaka Kawachinagano Amano Sake, the first time I️ had this sake. This brewery is located on Koya Kaido, and the surrounding area has a nice atmosphere. It was my first time to visit there, but it must be a famous place. The taste was quite dry, and it was a taste for adults.

The fourth and final bottle I bought from Gonoi Sake Store's free shipping campaign is Karahashi, which is one of my favorite brands ❗ As I wrote in my previous review, it is brewed by Homare Shuzo, the family of freelance announcer Yumi Karahashi 😘. I've had the Yamada Nishiki black kara-hashi a few times before, but I've missed the Yume-no-Koh white kara-hashi a few times at my local liquor store, so I took this opportunity to pop it ☝️. The upfront aroma is a hint of strawberry🍓. It's sweet and delicious at first, but after swallowing, the bitter and sour aftertaste spreads slowly. It's dry compared to Haneya's Aizan, which I opened just before, but I like it because it's not overpowering, and it goes well with almost anything😄. It's a shame that the brand name is not registered on Sake no Wa... 😢.

This is a raw sake from Karahashi that I drank last month: ❗️ It was so delicious and well balanced that I had to buy it because I wanted to drink nama-sake 😊. I bought it because I wanted to drink a nama sake 😊. The aroma is subdued, but it has a freshness and a hint of gas that is typical of nama-shu. Delicious with freshness and a hint of gasiness ‼️ It tastes more Japanese sweetness🤔 than fruity and elegant. I wanted to try my first Osaka sake, Akushika, but I found Kurehaaru at my favorite izakaya... a traditional local sake. It's a good sake for a mid-meal drink. Yes! Local sake. The flavor is as expected.

After enjoying Fushimi's soft water hot springs in Kyoto, I spent the last part of my trip in Osaka👍. Since it was a special occasion, we had a drink at Kurehaaru, which we hadn't had in a year, and some oden and kushikatsu! The aroma is almost imperceptible. It has a refreshing taste on the palate, but the robust flavor of the rice comes on later. Still, it is lighter than other Osaka sake and has a moderate sweet and spicy taste. It has no habits and goes perfectly with oden ✨.

The next drink was a Tokujiro for Joyo's distributor? Tokujiro I drank Joyo several times, but this was my first time to drink Tokujiro. I happened to see on a restaurant instagram I follow that Tokujiro was originally a joint product between a Hirakata liquor store and the Joyo Brewery. It's unfiltered, once-bottled, and heated. It's fire-brewed, but it's still slightly effervescent and has a fresh, mellow rice flavor that's really tasty 😋. I'll buy Tokujiro next time I see it.
