I asked if there was anything cold? I asked and a rare sake was served 😳.
This Kikutaka is no longer available 😊.
Thankfully we had it 😃.
It has a rich flavor as if it is unfiltered Yamahai, and the acidity is quite strong and peculiar 😊.
I think it is a good choice for those who drink it 😊.
Good evening, Kano-san 😃.
I see that the Kikutaka brewed by Mr. Yamamoto, the current Toji of Hikari Eikiku, is still available!
I'm so jealous that you can drink Kikutaka now, which is a very strong sake for those who like heavy sake, and has a strong legs and back to keep up with the aging process 🤤.

Sake and Otsumami Chuin Shinmachi Store's November SAKE club "Tasting Aged Nama Sake".
The 4th sake is the oldest one this time 😳 2018BY.
This sake is aged for about 5 years.
It is "Kikutaka - Hummingbird - Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake".
This is the last sake brewed by Mr. Katsuaki Yamamoto, the current head brewer of Koei Kiku.
Kikutaka is a full-bodied sake with a robust flavor, and is originally suited for aging, as Mr. Yamamoto himself decided to sell only one bottle because he wanted people to be able to enjoy the changes after opening the bottle.
It may not be what he expected, but he must really want it to mature this much 😄.
The appearance is pale yellow crystal with snowy lumps of tailings dancing in places.
The aroma is unique, with a very matured feel, so-called "old incense" 🤔.
However, the mouthfeel is very mild, starting with the stimulation of sourness on the tongue, followed by thick sweetness and umami, and it finishes without any unpleasant tanginess.
The flavor has not lost any of its richness and roundness despite being aged for about 5 years 😳.
I have never had Yamamoto Toji's Kikutaka before, but it was delicious and showed the quality of the original sake and the core strength of the sake 😊.
This is the turnaround. Next up is the 5th sake 🍶.
Hi Aladdin 😃
I was going to go to chuin after Nemuchi and I went to the Japanese sake festival, but I had to give up because it was full until 8pm 😥I've never had chrysanthemum hawk before, so I'd like to compare it with Koei Kiku 😋.
Good evening, bouken-san 😄If you were still interested in drinking it after the Japanese sake festival 😳If you have some left over, you can drink it after the next day, so it's a good choice 😎I personally thought Kikutaka was rich and full-bodied, while Koei-Kiku was more sour and modern 🤔.
I was under the impression that Kikutaka was rich and full-bodied and Koei Kiku was more acidic and modern 🤔.
Finally, the bottle is empty.
I had been drinking it, little by little, for more than a year, and now it was really gone.
The ripe, honey-like flavor lived on until the very end.
Thank you, Kikutaka. Farewell, Kikuichimonji.
I found a sake I've been wanting to try at Sake Bar Otake. 💓
It is Kikutaka, which is no longer making sake. It's the brewery where the toji of Koei Kiku used to be.
It is a matured sake with a strong and thick taste.
It is the exact opposite of Koueikiku. It is the exact opposite of Koei Kiku.
Good evening, NITO-san!
You can drink Kikutaka at Otake ✨
I got a bottle of Kikutaka 3 years ago and enjoyed it warmed up! I think the acidity was similar to that of Koei Kiku 😋.
Hi kino.Â
It's not on the menu, but they happened to be serving it. They said they don't have any more.
Heated Kikutaka, no doubt. I'm sure you'll love it 😋😋.
I was looking forward to the difference in taste from Koueikiku, but I was more interested in the indescribable flavor due to the time that had passed since the opening of the bottle...
In my life, I will never have another chance to compare drinks.
First, Kikutaka.
It is the best. Although it is an aged sake, it has a slight carbonation when the seal is opened.
It has a soy sauce and mirin-like flavor, and the sweet and sourness comes through. The honey peculiar to Kikutaka is irresistible.
It's amazing. It's a taste that you have to be an adult to understand.
The fourth drink of the day
Kikutaka, the brewer of Kouei Kiku, Yamamoto's history.
Personally, I think I like it better than Hello Koei Kiku.
It's delicious 😁.
The now defunct chrysanthemum hawk!
I found it two years ago at a liquor store I wandered into, and kept it in a safe place for safekeeping.
I found it two years ago at a liquor store I wandered into and kept it in a safe place, but I opened it as my first heated sake after getting to Nobee Yokocho.
This sake is from the brewery where Koei Kiku's toji used to work.
I hear they only make mirin (sweet sake) now!
30BY Hummingbird!
It's a bottle but cheaper than Koei Chrysanthemum's Hello 4G bottle 😆.
The color is a little brownish!
I've never been a fan of aged sake, but this one has a nice sour taste ✨ and is easy to drink 😋.
I drank 4 gongs at once😅
I love the Noobey Yokocho✨!
Heating up sake is so much fun 😋.
I'll drink the rest in small doses👍
Good evening 😃
Congratulations on your sake heater debut 🎉.
You are really making progress with your hot sake 😍.
I️ am too late for you to drink too much 🤣.
Congratulations on finding a fellow Nobee Alley member and on your debut!
I also started using it at the end of last year and am very satisfied with its ease of use.
I can understand why you accidentally drink too much lol.
Be careful not to drink too much.
Good morning, kino.
Congratulations on your debut in Nobee Yokocho 🎉It's very convenient 😊👍I'd love to heat up some 🤣30BY aged sake 🥹I'm curious to know how good it tastes so I can drink 4 gou of it at once!
Good evening, Masa!
I was surprised when I found Kikutaka 😳 I didn't expect to get it so I was happy 😊.
I'm going to enjoy some heated sake today too 😋.
Good evening, bouken!
I see you still have Bishu Kotobuki! Thank you for the information ✨
It seems that Bishu Kotobuki was also available during Kikutaka's time, so maybe Kikutaka is the sake after Touji Yamamoto came to the brewery 😊.
Good evening, Pon!
I opened it with great vigor because I was afraid that if I didn't drink it here, I would let it age in my house for years again 🤣.
From today onwards, I'll savor it slowly and not drink too much 😅... ...maybe 😅
Good evening, baya!
I actually bought one at the end of the year too, but I don't usually heat sake much so it's only now making an appearance 😅.
It's nice to be able to easily heat up sake ✨ Maybe from today I won't drink too much 🤣.
Good evening, Manachie!
I feel like I'm getting closer to heated sake just by getting the Nobee Yokocho 😋.
I had left it wrapped in newspaper at room temperature, but I just found it when I was cleaning up at the end of the year and remembered 🤣.
Good evening, Tsubu!
I think I'm going to heat up even the sake that doesn't need to be heated 🤣.
It's so easy to drink 😋 Yamamoto Toji has been obsessed with acidity since his Kikutaka days 😊.
Good evening, Noodle Wine King!
If you already have one, you're certainly going to be pissed off 🤣.
No, but in the Noodle and Liquor King family, being pissed off must be part of the game... Let's aim for a two-fisted liquor heater👍
Good evening, kino. I'm very happy to see you here 😄.
I'd like to try Kikutaka brewed by Touji Yamamoto once! 🤤I'll be lucky if I come across it at an outing! 😆👍
Good morning, MAJ!
I also learned about Kikutaka from a magazine article and was surprised to find it in a store when I wondered if such a sake existed 😊.
I'll order it if I find it when I go out drinking 😆.
