Hakkeikubiki is a series of the eight blessings of Kakizaki: sun, water, earth, sky, wind, trees, snow, and people. This is wind. Come to think of it, it was windy in Kakizaki. This is the second bottle from the Sake Rice Study Group. The sake rice is locally grown Koshitanrei. The aroma is light, but has the gorgeous flavor of a daiginjo. The taste is very broad. It is delicious.

This is the second in a series of ordered alcoholic beverages. I drank it to study it, as it is another brand of Kubiki Shuzo from the Koshiji-no-Kenbai series. What a surprise! This is delicious! It is very tasty. It is the cheapest grade in the Kubiki series, but it was extremely refreshing, with a nice aroma and a smooth taste. Purchased at Yamasho in JR Ashiya station. I mentioned before that this liquor store is based in northern Kyoto and has a wide selection of sake from the Tango area, but they also have Kumi no Ura. It is rather sweet. Muscat and lychee-like flavor. It is fire-brewed but fresh. I'd like to try some of their fresh sake. I'm sure it would be delicious. According to the internet, it's unfiltered raw sake. It's true that it's on the lees for a fire-brewed sake. Sediment is noticeable.

The sake that Rafa ordered. I exchanged it for the sake I ordered and drank some. The rice is said to be modified Nobukou. Unlike the straight kumi-style sake, it is calm and has a mild sweetness. It is more like a classic sake. The official website says it is about -7, so I think it is more on the sweet side. If you think of it as the standard sake of the brewery, it is quite high. It seems that Rafa has a connection with Satte City, where Toyoake's brewery is located, and I thought such an episode was interesting.

When I tasted it last week at Koedo Kurasato in Kawagoe, I felt its obvious individuality and immediately bought a 4-goupe bottle because I wanted to drink it at home.
