2020/11/06 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A subdued but green apple-like aroma. The mouthfeel is refreshing and smooth. It is followed by a rich sweetness and flavor. Spiciness and acidity are rather subdued. It finishes off nicely with a slight bitterness. It was easier to drink than the ginjo I received before.

Tonight, I'm posting my second bottle, this one I've been letting go for about 2 years to contrast with the first (Miyazumi Junmai Nigori Nama) 🍶. Actually, I bought it at the same time as the previous Junmai, but when I drank the Junmai, I took it for granted that this was a sake that should be aged for a long time 😪💤 and it has been in the bottle for a long time until now 😌. The aroma is grain-like, or Western liquor-like, or mature aroma, and the smell alone is enough to make you feel drunk. 😵‍💫 I think it's better to drink it at room temperature or warmed than chilled because the initial smell will disappear. Maybe I'll give it a try after tomorrow. It's good to enjoy long-aged sake sometimes. ☺️

As you would expect, this brand would give you a much richer texture and also complexity in smell and taste. It actually offer a fresh cheese smell, together with some nuttiness of roasted nuts and chestnuts. Clear umami which is staying for long enough. Some coffee / toffee feel as well.

As before, we received Wataru's Ryujin Maru today. Has that lost its rarity? I received an explanation that the original author of "Moyashimon" passed away suddenly, but his successor revived it. However, this is my first time here, so I haven't checked the authenticity of the item. I am not sure.

Good morning, Nochi-san 😃. I think you are probably referring to the fact that the 8th toji of Takagaki Shuzo who brewed Ryujinmaru passed away suddenly at a young age in 2010, and his wife suddenly took over as the 9th toji and Ryujinmaru is still being brewed today!

It's also the first time I've seen it. Super rare sake in my opinion. Was it made famous by Moyashimon? For me, Ryujinmaru is Majin Hero Den Wataru.

🐉 Did you have a petit offline meeting? New Rebaya in Shinjuku is reserved for up to 4 people, the price has gone up, and the variety of sake has gone down a bit. But it doesn't change the fact that you can drink a lot, so the 4 of us went there with Yuka-Chin, Nochi-san, and Rigel-kun, the organizer of the party. Thanks for the reservation😊. The first thing that impressed me was this Ryujinmaru. I had heard it was hard to buy, so I had to try it. On that day, I just kept saying "I want one too" as other people ordered 💦. It's very rich. Great flavor 😋. The yakitori flavor was so-so, but it's strong enough not to be defeated. I had been drinking at a fast pace until I got here, so I decided to try this one! I don't really know what it is, but everyone was taking pictures, so here it is 🌲.

Next is "Ryujinmaru". Sweet taste at first, but soon after, bitter taste like nuts and chocolate. I guess it's hard to find due to the influence of "Moyashimon", but it's a classic taste, so I personally can't get into it... I was also given a sample of Nippon Izumi but forgot to take a picture 💦. The taste was too weak and subtle😅.
