It has a glossy, mellow flavor with a rich brown sugar or honey-like sweetness. The rich taste of rice is powerful and mellow. There is a slight bitterness behind the umami. I would like to drink this sake in small sips.
The strong peculiar taste of junmai sake and junmai ginjo-shu is subdued and clear, but it has a strong, rich flavor, so I enjoy a small amount to finish off after a meal.

When I traveled to Wakayama, there was a lineup of 4 types of Ryujinmaru on display, but I passed it up because of rumors that it was a classic type of sake. I bought the safe Kid and Kurumizaka. Maybe I should have bought them?
