Hachitan-Nishiki, 60% polished rice, 15% alcohol by volume.
The wife drank it in a champagne glass and I drank it in a burgundy glass. The wife felt sweetness and I felt bitterness without sweetness. I felt the sweetness, and I felt the bitterness without the sweetness. Delicious 🤤.
A friend of mine gave me a Drinkmate so I added carbonation to the Natsujun 🤭 and now it's a dry sparkling sake that's even more refreshing! But you have to add 450ml of carbonation to get the right amount, so you'll end up emptying almost a 4-gouple bottle when you use it 😅Delicious! Thank you for the food 🙏!

On Jay's birthday, Nobby drove alone to a liquor store about 30 minutes away to get a bottle of Genmai 🥹.
He said it took his breath away when he found it 😳 and he wanted to share his joy 😭.
I'm so happy 🥰.
So it's been waiting in the fridge for a while now because it's just too good to be true!
Now the first bottle of Genmai is finally open!

Whoo-hoo! Easy to drink with a smooth sweetness and then a bitterness that recedes ☺️.
The full-bodied umami flavor is strong and cuts through nicely.
It's so rich in flavor!
And at this price, it tastes so good!
No wonder it's so popular 😊.

Nobby had a gut feeling that I should go to that liquor store, so I went straight there by myself! I got my first Genmai as a happy birthday present❗️I haven't drunk it yet but I'm looking forward to it 🥰🥰.
This is the first bottle I brought along with that one, and it will be my first time drinking it.
The aroma is a common one, not too sweet, I guess.
I like the way it drinks!
But I haven't had sake in a long time because I've been drinking a lot of light sake lately.
As I drank more, the bitterness or sourness of the sweet summer, or something like that, started to show itself.

This is the only intuition I have, and Shinshu Kamerei is not a winner 😓. chapeTwo brands "Tenpoichi" and "Suminoe" were recommended to me by a senior sake drinker at work. I found "Tenpoichi" at Kenmoku Shoten 😳I asked about it and they said they started stocking it from this season 😁The first Hachitan Nishiki 😆.

Yamahai is a sake brewed with Yamahai and pickled plums... I see... 🤣I decided to buy something a little different and my wife likes Umeshu (plum wine). I chose this one.
The first sip was "wow it's thick😅". It's hard to drink straight, so I added a little soda water and it's delicious 🤤 Unlike regular plum wine, there is no sugar in this plum wine, so it's not sweet and she loves it 😃.

This is one of the three other bottles I bought because of the points system. I asked the lady at the liquor store if she could recommend something refreshing that wasn't too sweet, and she said this was it.
The first time I opened the bottle, I was amazed at the sweetness of the wine.
The taste is sweet with a hint of bitterness at the end.
