This is our first appearance 🙇🏻🙇🏻♀️ But it's a sunny day... 、、、、 Hey! Cherry blossoms🌸 have already bloomed this year? Spring sake by now? It's like that. 、、、、 Well, I went back and remembered that my son started his new job in April, so I opened a bottle of Spring Sake😅. It has a full-bodied, gentle sweetness. A little bitter, but with a clean aftertaste and a good mouthfeel. It's a happy taste again! As always, I'll try to keep this short 😅 It's a seasonal junmai ginjo-shu made with Hokkaido's Comet rice, which is perfect since the weather has turned from summer to autumn, i.e., it's almost spring 😊. Love Tochigi 🥰. Extra Edition This weekend I went to my father's house to see him, and on Saturday night my sister and her daughter joined me at a Japanese restaurant 😄 The second picture is the receipt 🧾 for the drinks and food we had there. Then we went back to my father's house and started the after-party! I opened a bottle of sake I bought on the way there and gave it a squeak 🍶 (I'll bring it up later). And then we both lost our memories 😓. When I looked in the fridge in the morning, I found that almost all of the sake had been consumed 😳 Who the hell drank all this? Who drank all this? And Nobby is down for the day with a hangover! I'm going to go sober for a while 😆.

The proprietress of Kenmoku recommended this bottle to me. There are two kinds of labels, one is called "Wakimizu label" and the other is called "Tambo label". It is 100% Misato Nishiki, 55% polished rice, 15% alcohol. Beautiful sake. Gentle sweetness. It is not unique, but it is crisp and tasty. I like it, but my wife doesn't seem to like it so much 😫We have almost the same taste in food, but we often differ in our evaluation of alcohol 🤔It's rather refreshing to have different evaluations of taste between husband and wife 🤭It's fun to drink while talking about likes and dislikes! It was delicious 😌! Thank you for the treat 🙏.

I got this "egg manju" at work. I thought it would be like a famous confectionary chick, but it turned out to be a whole boiled egg seasoned with soy sauce inside the manju skin 🤣. At Kenmoku San, I noticed Kurogyu's plum wine and yuzu sake, and the owner recommended the yuzu sake 👍She said it is sour and tastes great on the rocks when you are tired😍. I haven't had the sake version of Kurogyu yet 🤭, but this yuzushu is great 😋, I had the sweet and sour yuzushu on the rocks 😊, maybe because I was tired from the heat, it was even better 😁Thank you for the meal 🙏.

We also had this one last weekend with Chun Chun and Seven Sages. I had been curious about this one for a while because it was Harry's recommendation, and I was finally able to bring it to you. I thought I bought this one before, but when I looked closer, it turned out to be a Shinanotsuru 😆 I'm glad it turned out to be delicious though👍. Now, let's eat! Hi, it's delicious 😋! It's refreshing but has a rich umami flavor. Good as a food sake 😊. I would like to try other sake rice as well! On a different note, I received the comprehensive results of my physical exam in the mail this week, and although my liver function was okay, I had an abnormal number outside the plan in an item I've never had a problem with before, so I went in for a full exam today. I had to go for a full checkup today. I couldn't participate in the Remote Offline Meeting because I had to quit drinking for a few days before the checkup 😢. First time in幻舞🎉First time in Aishan🎊. I went to Kenmoku San to look for some Gemmai, and they had a few, so I chose this pink one that looked like it was a limited edition 😊. I thought it had an unusual name, but Kenmoku's wife told me it was "Aizan's i" 🤭. Aizan, 55% polished rice, 16% alcohol by volume. The toji is Ms. Mariko Chino. I have not had a female toji since 😳Amami 😁My first impression of Aizan is that it has a strong sweetness! I opened another Aizan along with this one and compared them, but both of them had sweetness in the front, so I wonder if Aizan is characterized by sweetness? 🤔This was a delicious saké with unique rice! Thanks for the treat 🙏.

It took me a long time to find a store and then buy it, but I've got it 🫡... 😭... Omachi, 50% polished rice, 16% alcohol. Aroma? Taste? The sweet and sour taste is followed by bitterness....the umami is also thick and delicious.... It was delicious! No wonder it's so popular 😊Thank you 🙏.

I'm so impressed 😂. The first time I drank Jikin was on an outing in Tokyo at the end of last year 😌 Since then, I've been exploring liquor stores and checking SNS to collect as much as I can 🥹. This time we will compare Senbon-Nishiki and Sake Mirai Nama 😤 Enjoy! I'm looking forward to it! I'll start with Senbon Nishiki, which I got for the first time (I met Nobby when he had shingles). The aroma is gorgeous and the expectations are high! It is slightly carbonated and smooth, but has a strong flavor. The acidity is refreshing - and a little bitterness in the aftertaste... yes! Delicious! I knew it would be mild and well-balanced. It's as good as Comaneci in its prime! This comparison is a lot of fun 😄!

I had a rather long conversation with the lady of Kenmoku Shoten and she recommended the sake I chose at the end 😊 dry 😁. Hachitan-Nishiki, 60% polished rice, 15% alcohol by volume. The wife drank it in a champagne glass and I drank it in a burgundy glass. The wife felt sweetness and I felt bitterness without sweetness. I felt the sweetness, and I felt the bitterness without the sweetness. Delicious 🤤. A friend of mine gave me a Drinkmate so I added carbonation to the Natsujun 🤭 and now it's a dry sparkling sake that's even more refreshing! But you have to add 450ml of carbonation to get the right amount, so you'll end up emptying almost a 4-gouple bottle when you use it 😅Delicious! Thank you for the food 🙏!

A story back in April 🕰. When I came home from work, Nobby said 'look in the fridge' and when I opened it, I saw a glowing orange liquor❗️. On Jay's birthday, Nobby drove alone to a liquor store about 30 minutes away to get a bottle of Genmai 🥹. He said it took his breath away when he found it 😳 and he wanted to share his joy 😭. I'm so happy 🥰. So it's been waiting in the fridge for a while now because it's just too good to be true! Now the first bottle of Genmai is finally open! I'm so excited 🤗! Whoo-hoo! Easy to drink with a smooth sweetness and then a bitterness that recedes ☺️. The full-bodied umami flavor is strong and cuts through nicely. It's so rich in flavor! And at this price, it tastes so good! No wonder it's so popular 😊. I drank so much of it that the rest of it disappeared 💨 I lived in Nagano for about 4 years when I first got married. I knew Nagano makes good sake👍

Last Friday. Nobby had a gut feeling that I should go to that liquor store, so I went straight there by myself! I got my first Genmai as a happy birthday present❗️I haven't drunk it yet but I'm looking forward to it 🥰🥰. This is the first bottle I brought along with that one, and it will be my first time drinking it. The aroma is a common one, not too sweet, I guess. I like the way it drinks! But I haven't had sake in a long time because I've been drinking a lot of light sake lately. As I drank more, the bitterness or sourness of the sweet summer, or something like that, started to show itself. This is going to be a good one: 、、、、 gulp😋 I drank this one after I opened Chung-Ai's, and then I tried something else... This was one of the reasons why Nobby couldn't drink at the sushi restaurant 😢. They never learn 😮💨. I've been quiet this week😔. I'm having the rest today for the first time in a long time 😊. Seems to have a stronger alu feel with a citrus aroma. I guess the bitterness got stronger too. I'll drink it slowly...

Two brands "Tenpoichi" and "Suminoe" were recommended to me by a senior sake drinker at work. I found "Tenpoichi" at Kenmoku Shoten 😳I asked about it and they said they started stocking it from this season 😁The first Hachitan Nishiki 😆. It was fresh and not too sweet, acidic, bitter, or pungent...balanced, perhaps? I see 🤔I was told that you like a brand that you never get tired of drinking and you can drink it all the time, and I agree 😆 It was delicious! Thank you for the food 🙏.

for recording Yamahai is a sake brewed with Yamahai and pickled plums... I see... 🤣I decided to buy something a little different and my wife likes Umeshu (plum wine). I chose this one. The first sip was "wow it's thick😅". It's hard to drink straight, so I added a little soda water and it's delicious 🤤 Unlike regular plum wine, there is no sugar in this plum wine, so it's not sweet and she loves it 😃. The downside is that it's a little more expensive due to the hard work involved in preparing it, and it's in small quantities so it runs out quickly😭Delicious! Thank you for the treat 🙏.

I bought it thinking it was Mikotsuru, also in Nagano Prefecture, but when I got home, I thought, "Oh, no? It's not! I mean, only the cranes are right😅. But when I drank it... It's fruity and rich, but with a nice acidity and a clean aftertaste. It's sweet and delicious😋. What can I say, the aroma is great😌. I bought it by mistake, but the taste and smell are top-notch.

Senkou, the catalyst for my love of sake! I was so impressed by the flavor of Snowball that I wanted to drink it. It's been a long time since I've bought one. I took a sip, and oh, it's so good❗️. This is it! Senkou is amazing! The sourness is good😌 It's like a really good grape juice! It's even more refreshing when mixed with oriental. The grapes are gone, and the alcohol is gone in a flash😋. We both enjoyed the taste of Senkou. If you haven't tried it, you should definitely pick it up! It's right on the money! I want you all to drink it! Tochigi Love

I still can't drink Novy 😢. I was told I could visit liquor stores, so I did 😀. I found a new liquor store that carries Zhijin! 😳. This is one of the three other bottles I bought because of the points system. I asked the lady at the liquor store if she could recommend something refreshing that wasn't too sweet, and she said this was it. The first time I opened the bottle, I was amazed at the sweetness of the wine. The taste is sweet with a hint of bitterness at the end. A bit of bitterness at the end with a lot of flavor. As I drank it, the sweetness was suppressed and it became a refreshing bitterness. I'll wait for Nobby's recovery and drink it slowly😊.

Purchased on recommendation! I think he said the label was designed by a toji who was a designer🤔. 58% migaki, so 58 (bitter melon) Of course it doesn't taste like bitter melon lol I heard that he revived his own sake brewery while training at Toyo Bijin! It was juicy and delicious! I don't know what it is, but I've never had Toyo Bijin before, but is it similar?

We caught them again this year! The lady at the liquor store told me that the rice leaves are less sweet and sour than last year because of the lower amino acid content. It's definitely more sour! No carbonation! I can understand why they call it an adult lemon squash. Summer is approaching ☀️!
