Well, I went back and remembered that my son started his new job in April, so I opened a bottle of Spring Sake😅.
It has a full-bodied, gentle sweetness.
A little bitter, but with a clean aftertaste and a good mouthfeel.
It's a happy taste again!
As always, I'll try to keep this short 😅
It's a seasonal junmai ginjo-shu made with Hokkaido's Comet rice, which is perfect since the weather has turned from summer to autumn, i.e., it's almost spring 😊.

This weekend I went to my father's house to see him, and on Saturday night my sister and her daughter joined me at a Japanese restaurant 😄 The second picture is the receipt 🧾 for the drinks and food we had there.
Then we went back to my father's house and started the after-party!
I opened a bottle of sake I bought on the way there and gave it a squeak 🍶 (I'll bring it up later).
And then we both lost our memories 😓.
When I looked in the fridge in the morning, I found that almost all of the sake had been consumed 😳 Who the hell drank all this? Who drank all this?
And Nobby is down for the day with a hangover!

The proprietress of Kenmoku recommended this bottle to me.
There are two kinds of labels, one is called "Wakimizu label" and the other is called "Tambo label".
It is 100% Misato Nishiki, 55% polished rice, 15% alcohol. Beautiful sake. Gentle sweetness. It is not unique, but it is crisp and tasty. I like it, but my wife doesn't seem to like it so much 😫We have almost the same taste in food, but we often differ in our evaluation of alcohol 🤔It's rather refreshing to have different evaluations of taste between husband and wife 🤭It's fun to drink while talking about likes and dislikes! It was delicious 😌! Thank you for the treat 🙏.

I got this "egg manju" at work.
I thought it would be like a famous confectionary chick, but it turned out to be a whole boiled egg seasoned with soy sauce inside the manju skin 🤣.
At Kenmoku San, I noticed Kurogyu's plum wine and yuzu sake, and the owner recommended the yuzu sake 👍She said it is sour and tastes great on the rocks when you are tired😍.
I haven't had the sake version of Kurogyu yet 🤭, but this yuzushu is great 😋, I had the sweet and sour yuzushu on the rocks 😊, maybe because I was tired from the heat, it was even better 😁Thank you for the meal 🙏.

I had been curious about this one for a while because it was Harry's recommendation, and I was finally able to bring it to you.
I thought I bought this one before, but when I looked closer, it turned out to be a Shinanotsuru 😆 I'm glad it turned out to be delicious though👍.

On a different note, I received the comprehensive results of my physical exam in the mail this week, and although my liver function was okay, I had an abnormal number outside the plan in an item I've never had a problem with before, so I went in for a full exam today. I had to go for a full checkup today. I couldn't participate in the Remote Offline Meeting because I had to quit drinking for a few days before the checkup 😢.
The results are due the week after next, so I'm going to try to save a little bit until then.

I went to Kenmoku San to look for some Gemmai, and they had a few, so I chose this pink one that looked like it was a limited edition 😊.
I thought it had an unusual name, but Kenmoku's wife told me it was "Aizan's i" 🤭.
Aizan, 55% polished rice, 16% alcohol by volume.
The toji is Ms. Mariko Chino. I have not had a female toji since 😳Amami 😁My first impression of Aizan is that it has a strong sweetness! I opened another Aizan along with this one and compared them, but both of them had sweetness in the front, so I wonder if Aizan is characterized by sweetness? 🤔This was a delicious saké with unique rice! Thanks for the treat 🙏.

I'm looking forward to it! I'll start with Senbon Nishiki, which I got for the first time (I met Nobby when he had shingles).
The aroma is gorgeous and the expectations are high!
It is slightly carbonated and smooth, but has a strong flavor.
The acidity is refreshing - and a little bitterness in the aftertaste... yes! Delicious!
I knew it would be mild and well-balanced. It's as good as Comaneci in its prime!

I had a rather long conversation with the lady of Kenmoku Shoten and she recommended the sake I chose at the end 😊 dry 😁.
Hachitan-Nishiki, 60% polished rice, 15% alcohol by volume.
The wife drank it in a champagne glass and I drank it in a burgundy glass. The wife felt sweetness and I felt bitterness without sweetness. I felt the sweetness, and I felt the bitterness without the sweetness. Delicious 🤤.
A friend of mine gave me a Drinkmate so I added carbonation to the Natsujun 🤭 and now it's a dry sparkling sake that's even more refreshing! But you have to add 450ml of carbonation to get the right amount, so you'll end up emptying almost a 4-gouple bottle when you use it 😅Delicious! Thank you for the food 🙏!

When I came home from work, Nobby said 'look in the fridge' and when I opened it, I saw a glowing orange liquor❗️.

Last Friday.
Nobby had a gut feeling that I should go to that liquor store, so I went straight there by myself! I got my first Genmai as a happy birthday present❗️I haven't drunk it yet but I'm looking forward to it 🥰🥰.
This is the first bottle I brought along with that one, and it will be my first time drinking it.
The aroma is a common one, not too sweet, I guess.
I like the way it drinks!
But I haven't had sake in a long time because I've been drinking a lot of light sake lately.
As I drank more, the bitterness or sourness of the sweet summer, or something like that, started to show itself.
This is going to be a good one: 、、、、 gulp😋
I drank this one after I opened Chung-Ai's, and then I tried something else...
This was one of the reasons why Nobby couldn't drink at the sushi restaurant 😢.
They never learn 😮💨.

I'm having the rest today for the first time in a long time 😊.
Seems to have a stronger alu feel with a citrus aroma.

Yamahai is a sake brewed with Yamahai and pickled plums... I see... 🤣I decided to buy something a little different and my wife likes Umeshu (plum wine). I chose this one.
The first sip was "wow it's thick😅". It's hard to drink straight, so I added a little soda water and it's delicious 🤤 Unlike regular plum wine, there is no sugar in this plum wine, so it's not sweet and she loves it 😃.

I was so impressed by the flavor of Snowball that I wanted to drink it. It's been a long time since I've bought one.

This is it! Senkou is amazing!
The sourness is good😌 It's like a really good grape juice!
It's even more refreshing when mixed with oriental.
The grapes are gone, and the alcohol is gone in a flash😋.

I found a new liquor store that carries Zhijin! 😳.
This is one of the three other bottles I bought because of the points system. I asked the lady at the liquor store if she could recommend something refreshing that wasn't too sweet, and she said this was it.
The first time I opened the bottle, I was amazed at the sweetness of the wine.
The taste is sweet with a hint of bitterness at the end.
A bit of bitterness at the end with a lot of flavor.
As I drank it, the sweetness was suppressed and it became a refreshing bitterness.
I'll wait for Nobby's recovery and drink it slowly😊.
