I'm not a fan of kijo sake, but I was sure Hirotogawa would be the one to buy! The aroma is quite strong, like muscat, boiled down with sugar. The taste is refreshing contrary to the aroma, and the balance of acidity and sweetness is just right. However, when I put it in my mouth, the sweet aroma pulls me in, so I feel it's relatively too sweet. It is one of the most enjoyable kijozake. ★★★☆☆☆☆

I received the newest addition to the Hanayo family! The aroma is medium and elegant, with red apple and pineapple elements in the back. The taste is elegant and juicy without being too assertive, like a Junmai Daiginjo, with a strong acidity and a moderate sweetness. Last year's Hanaohayu had a strong bitter taste that I didn't like, but this year's flavor is just right! It is a premium sake that lives up to its premium name. However, since it is differentiated by the presence or absence of lees, I would have liked a little more flavor in the orikarami. However, I have a much better impression than last year. ★★★★

I miraculously bought a bottle of Jikin at the end of the year. I tasted a bottle slowly over a month. The aroma is medium with nuances of apple, mango and pineapple. The taste is firm but gentle, with a lot of acidity followed by sweetness, and gradually the umami of the rice spreads slowly. The juiciness in the mouth is irresistible! Shinshu Kamerei is delicious no matter what you drink. The aroma is medium with blue banana and muscat. The taste is rich, with a good balance between acidity and sweetness. Cool frosted bottle and logo! It didn't spew at all and was safe to drink! The nose was medium with lime, herbal cleanness and a little melon. I had previously had a Junmai Daiginjo of Yamanai and didn't like it very much, so I honestly didn't have high expectations. The aroma is medium, predominantly blue melon flesh.
