Today, I got "Kawaguchi Natto" which I have been curious about for a while! I got it on the way to eat Utsunomiya Gyoza on a day trip to Tochigi last month, so it's practically a Tochigi souvenir👍. When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was of honey, apples, and grain. The mouthfeel is clear and crisp with a citrusy acidity and astringency. It tastes like grapefruit with a hint of sweetness. It has the richness and mellowness of Sasanishiki's umami, and the sharpness of the interweaving of the dry, acidic, and astringent tannins gives it an exquisitely balanced taste! It has a hard-edged impression with a nuance close to that of an aged sake, but it is a presence that does not lose to the strong flavors of the teriyaki amberjack I happened to be eating, so it will be an excellent accompaniment during a meal! Of course it doesn't taste like natto, but you will want to enjoy it as an accompaniment just like natto! I hope to buy the red one next year 😌.

I bought it at Asama Sake Brewery, where I stopped by on my way to Manza Onsen! I often drink "Higen", but this was the first time I saw a nigori type, so I decided to buy it right away. I bought some "Koudou Shinko" fried rice crackers at the same time and had them as an accompaniment. When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was of pears and green apples. The taste is crisp, dry, and mainly dry and astringent. The slight sweetness of nigori (nigori is a type of sweet sake made from rice crackers) adds a nice accent to the taste. It is in tune with the savory flavor of the sake rice cracker, and it is a perfect match for the sake rice cracker as it resets the oil! The sake rice crackers are perfect with the sake rice crackers, and the oil is reset, making for a perfect match! After a day off from drinking and on a sake day, we toasted to the two-top of "Kaorutaka" and "Akagiyama," which are deeply related to my identity! It happened yesterday, but I was on a one-day trip to Tochigi with a friend! Spacia X, Kinugawa Onsen, Nikko Maitake mushrooms, Utsunomiya Gyoza.... Except for the new Spacia, we have been going to Tochigi for more than 10 years and have eaten there for more than 10 years, so we feel safe and close to my parents' house 😌. This time, I had a glass of "Shikizakura" with Utsunomiya Gyoza. It has a sweet aroma reminiscent of sugarcane. The palate is clean and slightly sweet, as is typical of a honjozo sake. The juicy flavor of the gyoza bean paste is in tune with the flavor of the gyoza, making it a perfect match! It also resets the fat at the same time, making it an excellent potential accompaniment for gyoza👍. It was a pity that the rock bath in Kinugawa Park was closed, but the conductor came to our private room to take our picture, which warmed our hearts and souls! This time, we were lucky enough to get our hands on a bottle of Nabeshima's moon series again, and we're going to open it right away👍. Houou version of "Kita no Katsu" which I bought as a souvenir from East Hokkaido. The Akitobushi Ramen I bought at Cape Nosabu was about to expire, so I decided to enjoy it with the Nemuro set! When the bottle is opened and poured, it has a sugar cane-like aroma of brewer's alcohol. The palate is soft, but the well-balanced full-bodied flavor of sweet and spicy tannins spreads slowly like a ripple. The salty taste comes from the minerality. It reminds me of the sea scenery I saw at Cape Nosappu. It is perfect for a mid-meal snack and goes well with the light soy sauce ramen noodles made with Akitagashi-bushi! It also has a pleasant sharpness in the aftertaste, so you can't help but drink more and more 👍. It is a bottle that is sure to go well with warmed sake as well. However, the sharpness of the pungent and astringent taste can be felt in the soft depths, making you realize the character of "Akagiyama! The big triangle of summer: Shibainu, Suzusake, and light nigori. I was able to enjoy it again this year ✨.
