Next is arabashiri in the same first tank. The "Ori" was not so visible, but compared to the beautiful "Nakadori" mentioned earlier, it seemed to have a little more attack. It was a bit more aggressive than the beautiful "Nakadori". It was very tasty with a sweet and savory taste! Highly recommended! 😁. This also has a firm acidity as the temperature rises a bit, and I wondered if it would have been better not to cool it down too much. Good evening! I'm back from a cold snap 🙋🙋🙋. The peak of the cold wave seems to have passed, but it's still as cold as ever 🥶🥶. We don't have the heavy snow like on the Sea of Japan side, and the weather has been good, but it's hard to wake up in the mornings when it's cold 😅. Well, we had another drinking party last week. I knew that I would be with Mr. Yoshikichiro Yaegashi, president of Izumikin Brewery, for this meeting as well, so I challenged him again with "SENGOKU" (lol). We started with Nakadori, thinking we would start with a clean taste. The sake was made with 13% alcohol by volume even though it is a sake yeast yeast yeast, so it tasted clear and delicious. As the temperature rises a little, the acidity rises, and it goes smoothly down the throat! 😁 President Yiichiro also tasted it happily. It was very delicious! 🙋

Good evening! 🙋 Normally, today would be the first day of spring, but this year is a normal day. 😅 Well, I am glad that the days are gradually getting longer. In Obihiro, they got 1 meter of snow in one day, not very much but snow removal can't keep up with it, it's a distress level 😱. It's not much at all here, or rather it hasn't snowed at all, but I think it might come to make up for it somewhere. I have a New Year's party this week and next week, so I opened a small bottle of shwash to get my body in shape and also because it's Setsubun. 😁 Sparkling Chiyomusubi that was left at Kibune! 👍 Very beautiful bottle. The seal is also a champagne cork. When I opened it quietly, I heard a gorgeous "bong! sound. When you pour it into a glass, you will find beautiful and very fine bubbles, just like champagne. In the mouth, there is a slight rice flavor and sweetness. But it has a refreshing mouthfeel, so it is a champagne! I was tempted to respond with, "Yes, it is! I am tempted to respond, "Yes, it is! 😄. It was very delicious! 🎉 Now I need to get ready to get the sake ready for tomorrow's bring-in! 😁😁

Good evening! 🙋 Today was a relatively calm day, with some wind in the morning, but calmed down in the afternoon. The sun is still setting quickly, so the feeling that the day will be over in a flash will continue for a while 😅. Today, since I haven't been home in a while, I cleaned the front door. The tiles in the entryway are white, so they get dirty every time we have visitors, so I washed them thoroughly with water. The Kärcher that I asked my sons for as a birthday present is very useful (lol). Parents who want a Kärcher as a birthday gift are also parents 😁. Today, I'd like to upload "Rice and Koji" by Rice and Agave. The first sip starts with a silky, clean acidity, and the overall taste is mild and cohesive. Ah, like a no. 6 of Shinsei. I wondered if DNA is something that is passed down from generation to generation. 😀 😀 This is the last of the rice and koji. I'm sure they will continue to entertain us with many variations. It was very tasty. 👍

New Year's party at Izumikin. The last sake was Higashitsuru's Winter Utakata. I had enjoyed their Spring Sun brand so much that I bought it this time to see if there was anything available as a sparkling sake. I opened the bottle and wondered what this one would be like, since the Sengoku Classic I had earlier was a sparkling sake. Surprisingly, it opened well without any violence. 👍 When I poured it into the glass, it was slightly cloudy and shiny. When you put it in your mouth, a beautiful sweetness spreads out, which is also delicious. It was a good choice! I am so proud of myself (laugh). I asked President Yaegashi to drink it as well. But, then again, wouldn't it be good to have a sparkling wine like this? Please try to make it somehow! It will definitely increase the number of fans! (laughs). Don't put so much pressure on me! but his face is grinning when he enjoys a good drink (laughs). Also, the president of Hayashigyo, who sat diagonally to my left this time, is a person who often visits the brewery with President Yaegashi, and his wife is from Tottori. We talked about the Inadahime we drank the other day and had a great time! 😁. We were on the same drinking wavelength and talked incessantly! 👍

Next is a classic from the same Sengoku. The retro mentioned earlier is Omachi and Yamadanishiki. This one is Kame-no-o and Yamada-Nishiki. What is the difference? I opened the bottle. Then, bubbles suddenly appeared from inside the bottle! 😱. I hurriedly tighten it and see what happens. Huh? It doesn't say sparkling, does it? Puzzled, I let off the gas little by little. After a minute or so, it subsides, so I quickly pour it into a glass, and there's a shwizzle and bubbles! 👍 The slightly cloudy feeling heightens my anticipation. When I put it in my mouth, the bubbles spread and the taste is refreshing! Eek, it says classic, but it's the latest sparkling refreshing type, isn't it? 🎉 I hurriedly ask President Yaegashi to drink it too. What? You can make a bubbly liquor like this with the feel of this bottle? He looks surprised. 😱 As for the image, is it close to the birthplace? Everyone is unanimously amazed. This too was emptied in no time! 😁 It was very tasty! 👍

Good evening! 🙋 The sunlight during the daytime is gradually getting warmer, but the morning and evening temperatures are still very cold in the coastal areas of Iwate Prefecture. I can't drink with peace of mind because various infectious diseases are spreading, such as influenza, Wuhan pneumonia, and strep throat! Yesterday was the New Year's party for our business partners, Izumikin Bussan and Izumikin Shoji, plus Izumikin Sake Brewery. Yesterday was the Lunar New Year's Day, so this is the timing of the New Year's party every year. The all-you-can-drink menu includes the Senkin Brewery's Honjozo sake, but I bring my own sake and ask the president to drink various brands every time, and if possible, please serve sparkling sake! I ask the president to drink a variety of brands and serve sparkling if possible! So this time, I chose "Senkou," which reads the same way! Let's start with "Retro Zero-Shiki Nama-Shu". President Yaegashi, who always says "acidity is important," takes a sip. And then I drink it too. Oh, it has a soft and beautiful acidity. The sweetness spreads later, and the well-balanced flavor develops in the mouth. President Yaegashi also said it was delicious. Other people also drank it and gave it a high evaluation. 👍 It was empty in no time! 😁

Lastly, Haneya's Junmai Ginjo Prism Ultimate Shiboritate! A change from Akabu's Snow, the slightly firm sweet attack plays gorgeous in the mouth! 👍 It comes on strong but unravels in the mouth and has a happy, full-bodied sharpness. This is good too! 😁 And everyone else. Seeing their faces as they drink it so happily makes us happy, too. 👍 It was a very pleasant get-together! 🙋

The next item we will cover is the Akaibu SNOW XMAS 2024. Today, I brought it to a New Year's party of an industry group. 😁 Basically, the best thing to do is to bring in the drinks you want to drink and let everyone else drink while having a good time yourself (lol)! After all, when you are in your mid-60s, you can't drink as much as you used to, so this pattern is good for you (laughs). I thought it would have more of a shwashy feeling, but it was surprisingly mild. I opened the leftover X-factor from Isshiro Suisei and found that it had lost its carbonation and turned into a sweet juice, so I think it's better to drink it quickly. 😅 A sip is faintly slightly carbonated. The soft, sweet flavor is delicious in the mouth. Everyone drinks it with a happy face. 👍 Very delicious! 🙋

Good evening! 🙋 How are you doing in these days of cold and warm weather? Last week, three people died in our district within a week, what on earth is going on? I was so worried about what is going on. 😱 I feel like I can't help it because of my age, but even if I am in a hospital or facility with a good environment, I have to be really careful because I can go from feeling sick to......................... 🤔 So, I opened a bottle of "Kamigawa Taisetsu Special Junmai" to have a little something to drink to say goodnight. 😁 Overall, it was mature, but had a classy feel to it and was very easy to drink. It has a very good feeling that it goes with any ingredients in a straightforward manner. I found myself opening 3 gou of it in no time at all and put it secretly in the fridge behind my wife's back again. 😅 It was delicious! 👍

Well, it is the weekend. This week has been cold anyway! Today, we hit double digits below freezing for the first time in a long time! 🥶 Also, people in the same area passed away one after another, so I attended cremations and funerals in between work. I got a shingles vaccination in my weakened state of health, and it was full of malaise due to a spectacular adverse reaction... 😱. I recovered slightly from that and got my hands on some rice wine that was given to me! 😁 This was only going to be available online, but I was disappointed that I had missed the email with the information, so thankfully a friend of mine shared it with me and I was able to exchange it for the Nanaken Sparkling! Now, a sip. Wow, beautiful acidity. It did not jump out at me, but the sweetness and umami were so well balanced that my wife had to remind me to only drink a little bit! but before I knew it, almost 3 cups were gone 😅.... I put it in the fridge quietly so she won't notice... 😅 😅 I have to be careful now that we're in the winter soil season. Have a good night then! 🙋

Next is Junmai Ginjo Inatahime Strong (Goriki). This sake is made from Goriki, a sake rice native to Tottori that has not been cultivated for 40 years. The introduction describes it as a slightly light, slightly dry sake, but it is slightly sweet on the palate. From there, it spreads easily in the mouth and goes in smoothly. It was my first time to drink sake from Tottori, but it was very delicious! 👍 Postscript My wife loves mackerel, so we ordered a dish called saba heshiko. It is a traditional preserved food of Tottori, and is made by marinating mackerel in salt and rice bran. When I tried it, it was quite salty and a little spicy. The menu still showed the white part of the mackerel and it looked like the skin was seared, but what came out was mirin-colored all over. 😅 It's hard to order food I've never seen before. 😱 But I'm happy to drink good Tottori sake for the first time! 👍

Good evening! 🙋 Today was the coldest day of the winter. The temperature at 6:30 AM is shown in the 4th picture. 🥶 Double-digit below zero temperatures are fine for a day or so, but if it continues for several days, the water in the Shinto shrine and Buddhist room will freeze beautifully. I guess newer houses are highly airtight and insulated, but an old house like ours is lightly below freezing in a room without a fire. 😱 Well, I went on a business trip to Tokyo on my last holiday. I went into a building in Nihonbashi to search where to have dinner. I heard that a beef cutlet restaurant was popular, and when I went to the restaurant, there was a long line. I gave up and went into a restaurant called "Soba Kappou Inada" to have Soba. It seems to be a restaurant owned by a brewery in Tottori called Inada Honten, so I checked out the a la carte menu and sake before having Soba. 🤔 Oh, it's called Shiromai Junmai Sake, right? This is very promising! I immediately ordered it with kombujime. I took a sip. Oh, delicious acidity. I think it's a little different from grapefruit, but I guess it's true what they say about citrusy, refreshing acidity. It goes well with the kombujime. Very tasty! 👍

The last one I drank was Sentori Modern. I bought this series in bulk at Hasegawa Sake Shop online. 😅 The first sip has a beautiful acidity, though not like Shinmasa. After that, I felt a complex mingling, but I couldn't decipher it as I was almost tongue-tied. I'm almost too tongue-tied to decipher it 😁. I couldn't finish it, so I left it for 2 days and drank it again. The sourness was still there, but the bitterness and pungency came out and it became something else. It was delicious! 🙋 Postscript I just heard that the third case of bird flu has been reported in Iwate Prefecture. Prefectural staff and construction workers have been working at full capacity since New Year's to quarantine the area, but this is now at the level of a super-disaster. 😱 I hear they are taking very strict measures, but where could it be coming from? There are poultry farms in my area, so I am not a stranger to this. I know this must be a very uncomfortable time for everyone involved, but I can only hope that it will soon come to an end.

The second bottle was a sambuco. I continued with an easy drinking sparkling. 😁 However, this San-do is 2021. It was one that was hidden in the back of the fridge when I was dong the sake and wine that was in the fridge. Maybe it had been lying in hibernation for a long time? I carefully opened it. Relieved to find it opened normally. 😅 Poured it into a glass and it still has the same beautiful bubbles. A sip reveals no aging, just the usual clean sweetness. I am reminded once again that we have a good stock of not only Niimasa, but also Sansho, so if we store it well, it will be fine. It was very tasty! 👍

Good morning, I'm looking forward to seeing you again! 🙋 It is a clear and sunny morning here on the coast of Iwate Prefecture this morning. I hadn't uploaded my New Year's Day drink yet. 😅 I had been too rested for 8 consecutive vacations to get back to my senses since the beginning of work, and I was exhausted by yesterday's company event (safety convention). 😅😅 My second son stayed at home until the 3rd, so I took the first bottle of something special for him. 😁. The one I served was Houou Mita sparkling. It was a luxurious bottle that was made from 100% Aizan grapes. The description says it is a product that took a lot of time and effort. Then, let's try it! I took a sip of it! Ah, it was surprisingly refreshing. Not as good as the Mimuro cedar I drank on the first day, but it is clear and has a slight sweetness. If someone says this is a sparkling wine I would not be able to tell. Very tasty! 🙋

And finally, the exquisite Terroir of Watanohani Ota-no-Tani. This is one of the brands that shocked me when I drank it before because it was so delicious. I'll let you read the label on the back of the bottle, but I served it to everyone who was already getting tongue-tied. What? What? What? Everyone's eyes peeled back. Even after drinking all that, I can still taste the deliciousness. 👍 It was very delicious! And the New Year's Day night faded away! 😁

Next, Gagakuyo (Utashiro) under the snow (Yukiwari) Gagakuyo has only a delicious image of all of them. I gave the other brand to someone else 😀. A fizzy type with a careful opening. Open it slowly slowly slowly and pour it into a glass. Surprisingly, it is not sweet. It is well-balanced and light. Everyone unanimously agreed that it was "delicious! in unison. First of all, at the request of my eldest son-in-law, I treated her to a very special fine wine (lol). We all said, "Oh no! Oh no! We all drank it while fussing over it! We drank it all 😁. And then to sake! 👍 First of all, my eldest son, who pulls Shinsei from a mysterious place every time, did it again this time! (LOL) What was in the incomprehensible box were two types of Shinsei Tenkaeru. Tenkaeru clear and Tenkaeru clear dry. 😱. What the heck is this? my eldest son grinned when he saw me shouting 😁. Thankfully, I'll take it! Thank you very much 🙋 I'll have a clear dry immediately! Oh, that's a great foam. I can't open it easily! 😅 Open and close. Open and tighten. Took about 5 minutes. Hou! The acidity and subtle sweetness of the new Masa is still there, sparkling and spreading in the mouth. 👍 How can they make such an awesome sake? It is very strange! Happy from New Year. The second bottle on New Year's Eve. I still want to drink Shinsei. Cosmos which had been laid down for a while. The acidity is as delicious as ever. It has a good balance with sweetness and fills us with a happy feeling. It was gone in no time while watching Kohaku (red and white) (laugh). It was very delicious.
