Compared to regular tazake, it has a fruity flavor with a refreshing acidity and a bit of sweetness. It seems to be available only during the summer season, so it may be perfect for that time of the year as well.
The aroma is modest. In a good sense, there are no outstanding characteristics, but it has a good balance of umami, acidity, and bitterness, and was delicious with a meal. As one would expect from Tazake.
I couldn't buy it last year, so this year I bought a set of this red and gold.
It has a great sense of gas and sweet flavor. It is more like sweet champagne than sake.
This is a limited edition sake that has been aged one year longer than the regular hiyaoroshi.
It has a milder acidity and more umami than the regular version.
Personally, I prefer this one.
The difference in taste was quite surprising.
It has a gassy, fresh feeling of sake, which is very popular these days.
It was delicious in a different way as I have been drinking only hiyaoroshi sake recently!
